I, too fell victim to the fortune learning systems (not worth capitalizing) scam. I spent $4500 for fls and the success team and another $1200 for wholesale match about a year ago… money I definitely did not have to throw away. But I thought it would be a worthwhile investment knowing I would be unemployed soon. I got very little training, abominal customer service and very rude salespeople trying to upsell even more products such as business credit building for another 3 or 4 grand. Frustrated, I put it aside with the intention of teaching myself from the website when I had more time. Once my job did end – lo and behold so had they!
My master card is looking into this fraud of fortune learning systems. I went in for A LOT of money. I got an update from my MC about 3 weeks ago and they said the case might be brought before the international MC board, but so far there is a good reason why I would not get anything back. This reason is a clause I signed that states that I would be responsible for any delays or complaints of services received. BUT I HAVENT RECEIVED ANYTHING!!!!! And I dont understand how there can be a problem finding them guilty when this scam is found all over the internet now. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS SCAM?
I purchased products from FLS to the sum of $24,500 which included an LLC for my company, and a lifetime membership to Wholesalematch.com. Their service was very poor, and their service disappeared in March 2011. All my money is gone, but my bills keep going on. My website is USELESS, it is there but I am not able to acess the dashboard, and make changes. It is USELESS. Can anyone help. I have tried to contact them via phone and web without success. I hope all of them have lost their jobs, or maybe they are out trying to scam others under another name. I sure hope not!
Back in October of 2009 I unfortunately got involved with Fortune Learning Systems. They took me for over $7,000.00. This included a terrible training program, which included coaches, and credit managers supposedly to help me earn a decent amount of money from my investment in their e-commerce plan (business opportunity). I paid them extra to help me build a site which they spent very little time doing. I had to do about 90% of the building myself. The only thing they supplied me with was a software program called FLS web support. After my site got on line and I was paying $39.95 a month for hosting. I can’t even access my site’s products to edit them
I have been sending this e-mail to the trainer for several days now with no success – now I know why. What are the odds of re-cooping our investments? I have made numerous attempts to call Tony Lee @ 1-888-202-1960 with no success. Contacting the customer service people is unbelievably horrible and the most unprofessional attitude that I have encountered for a very long time. I am of the opinion that this whole set -up is a scam and before I take any further action, I am approaching you in the hope that you can relay this e-mail to the appropriate people. Furthermore, I have been unsuccessful getting on to the your website which would have assisted my in designing my own (website)
I invested $20,000 in what I thought was an online business. It was with fortune learning center. After I finished my training I was supposed to be able to set up my own business with my coach.I just recieved my LLC and registered with the IRS.In March,my husband was reading an article in the paper about home online businesses being a fraud.I didn’t think it was FLS because they had me register with the IRS so I thought they were legitimate! Now my credit cards are sky high and my credit is suffering. How do you get your money back?
I also lost money on Fortune Learning System close to $4500. They made it sound like I would make all this money and be out of debt within 6 months. I got my 6 days of training from Rick. He talk too fast, could not understand what he was talking about. It was like hurry up so he could call someone else. Got talked into joining Wholesale match which was a mistake. I did get a webpage set up but now I can’t get into the back door of my site to update it. If there is going to be action taken against them I’ll be happy to join it. And your right on about the credit cards.
It all started with Fortune Learning Systems who conned us out of close to $20,000.00 for education, website design, business development and planning, and Domain hosting. This opened up a Pandora’s box of subsequent merchants claiming to be associated in one manner or another who could market the business that we were developing with Fortune Learning System. On-line Essentials (My Online Essentials/The Tax Club/Success Merchants/ or whatever they are calling themselves now) contacted us and quoted that for a “reduced” on-time fee of $4998.00 (they originally wanted $8000.00) they would aggressively market our business.
Paid a total of over $5000.00 for education to Fortune Learning Systems on their website for different ways to make money online, including total website build and development, instructions on how to maintain website. They were supposed to do great things with Search Engine Optimization, an Email blitz of only interested customers, marketing, etc, etc. Fortune Learning Systems guaranteed I would make all the money back within 6 months, and if I didn’t, they would continue to work with me until I did. Lost over $5,000 that I couldn’t afford to lose from these guys, and now the website is shut down and I can’t get a hold of them anywhere.
i am a member of fortune learning systems been with them since august 2010, and let me tell you this company is a big fraud. charges too much money and help you start your business and shuts down their website out of nowhere.what is going to happen to all those that trusted them and are hard earned money we put into this are we going to get it back. it would be nice though. if we all should petition fortune learning systems and fight for our rights and demand our money back. they hurt alot of people and don’t care whether you make it or not. keep fighting and keep hope alive that justice will be served against fortune learning systems.

I joined Fortune Learning Systems a few months ago, invested $300, got about 3 weeks of training, set up with Wholesale Match and invested $200 with them, now there is no way to reach either one. I looked over my bank statement the other day and noticed a $39.99 clearing house debit that I did not make. I think this is from the web hosting fee. No number to call, nothing. I have a personal address of my coach from a thank you he mailed me. I intend to write him a very strong complaint letter about FLS. He probably can’t do much about it but he can still read it. Before I could “not” find Fortune Learning Systems on the web anymore, I did manage to write a note that I wanted to cancel. That’s probably all that will be accomplished there too.
We invested over 2000 dollars into Fortune Learning System and never got past the “coaching” sessions. They kept asking us for more and more money, Lucky thing we canceled our bank account otherwise they would have bleed us dry. Now that we know they were a scam and have been shut down we want to know how we can get our money back. We are a struggling family and need that money. We thought that by doing this “system” we would get out of debt, start saving money and making a future for our children. Instead we have to start all over again from scratch. If anyone knows Michael Alfaro, who was the director at Fortune Learning System, please give me his number so I can tell him how I really feel.
I too have become a victim of this company called fortune learning system. i have invested close to 20,000.00 on false dreams and hope. Is there someone that I can contact to file a formal complaint against fortune learning systems. I am glad that I stumbled upon this web-site. I was given the promise of making unlimited amounts of money in a short period of time only to make major headaches and an empty bank account. I had to change my bank account just to keep these fools from taking any more of my money! SOMEONE please help me get going in the right direction. I am so disgusted and upset!
I invested over 17000.00 with these people at Fortune Learning Systems with promises that my website would be a success. I did all of the work building the site plus paid another monthly fee to Fortune Learning Systems to maintain it. A good portion of my money was to be applied to marketing. They did nothing except ask for my credit cared to pay for marketing as well. My website was up for 9 months and did not receive a single order and I did everything that I could marketing my site without spending more. I will be sending a letter to them for my money back. If not successful, I will submit complaints with BBB and Federal Trade Commission.
I too have fallen into the trap with these fortune learning system people. The website is down and have made numerous calls to many people and have heard nothing from any of them about my customer service complaints. What are we to do to get our money back? Is anyone looking into a way that we can get together and get refunded from fortune learning system? I haven’t even started the website and now I cant reach a soul to talk to about this, it is like everybody connected with their business just up and vanished like a fart in the wind. How can people live with themselves while ripping innocent people off and taking all their money? What a scam.

If you are like me and many others, you know how Fortune Learning Systems, Ivy Capital, the BDD, (abandoned ship a few weeks ago), Wholesale Match and others work. As of last week, Fortune Learning Systems and their affiliates have been shut down and are now under investigation. I was told by a reliable source that they had a court appearance Friday, March 4, 2011. I got busy and did some damage, at least I hope I accomplished something by submitting a complaint on this website. Now we all need to get the word out. Attorney Generals, the BBB, the FTC, Hissing Kitty, and anyone else you can think of are there for us and I believe, thanks to those ahead of me, they are the ones who had something to do with the shutdown.

After reading other complaints about Fortune Learning System, mine is the same old story. A smooth talking rep talked me into signing up, the first couple weeks was great, because I thought I was learning something new and could make money. My Fortune Learning System coach was Ryan Stevens and Steve Nielson from Wholematch also called and gave me a lot of advise. Then, all of a sudden nothing as both sites was temporarily down and all e-mails was undelivered. I even received a welcome packet from Fortune Learning System with telephone numbers that of course you could not connect to. Someway somehow people like this should have everything taken from them and let them live like some of us have to.
I am an Australian resident who has fallen victim for the Fortune Learning Systems. After “investing” $3500 between Fortune Learning Systems and Wholesalematch I have had 2 phone calls from a “teacher” who was going to teach me everything I needed to know but once another payment went through with Wholesalematch I have had no contact from either party. I have tried to get on to both of the websites only to find its “temporarily down” which seems a little suspect. I want my money back. Please respond if you have been successful enough in getting a refund out of this scammers.
I have fallen victim of Fortune Learning Systems and their slick sales talk. After parting with more than $8000 paid by VISA, I was given the name of my Guidance Coach. I had better point-out that they had some really good testimonials at the time otherwise I wouldn’t have parted with a penny. I’ve also stumbled across an on-line forum that has over 200 complaints about Fortune learning systems. Oh and my Guidance Coach all of a sudden has stopped calling me. Being outside the United States I’m not sure how I stand when it comes to refunds, hopefully the fact that I paid by VISA may help. These people over at Fortune learning systems have to be stopped.
