On 6/15/19 at approximately 8:45pm I went to the Rite Aid #04345 in Livonia (6 mile and Inkster) to purchase over the counter medication. There were no other customers in the store. I took my items toward the front cashier’s station so that I could pay. There were no store clerks at the cashier’s station. I gentleman, who I assumed was the manager, walked past, and went into the front office. He never acknowledged that I was standing there. After a while, I said Hello to get the attention of any available staff. A clerk yelled from the back of the store and appeared to be irritated that I had made an attempt to get someone’s attention. She yelled out in an angry voice and stated that she was in the back of the store. She came forward with something in her hand, she tossed it and went behind the register. I attempted to give rationale for trying to get the attention of the staff. However, she was extremely defensive and rude. She told me that I had not been standing in the front trying to get the attention of the staff because she was watching. Ironically, she initially stated that she was in the back of the store. She acknowledged that the manager had gone into the front office. However, did not acknowledge that he himself ignored my presence. The store clerk spoke to me as if I had no business in the store and was not a paying customer. I am and have been a Rite Aid customer for a number of years. I have never been treated so badly and spoken to so rudely as I was by the store clerk at the Rite Aid #04345. I did not purchase the over the counter medication. I left the store and told the store clerk that I would be filing a complaint. She simply looked at me angryly and hunched her shoulders.
I am so dissapointed at the behavior of the store clerk. I am more disappointed because a manager was present and failed to intervene as I am certain that he could hear how rude she spoke to me. I will never go to that store again.
I am hopeful that some action can be taken with regard to providing a an inservice on providing customer service because it certainly is lacking at that store.

A cashier at 650 eats Tremont avenue, Bronx, NY 10457 named paul kept following me throughout the store and was taking my picture. He then asked if he could take my picture after taking my picture. I told him no and that it was not in his place to take my picture. He still kept taking pictures of me. I was made to feel uncomfortable, I ended up buying the items in my hand and left the store.

I received a voicemail today May 3, 2019 regarding one of my prescriptions at the Rite Aid on Asbury Avenue in Tinton Falls NJ indicating that my prescription was not covered. I then returned the phone call, asked to speak to the pharmacist. I was put on hold til the pharmacist Simone picked up. Upon me asking why my medicine wasn't covered, I was told in a nasty, unacceptable tone that I don't need to speak to the pharmacist for that. I was appalled at her lack of professionalism and rudeness. I have been a customer in that store for over 20 years and was never treated with such disrespect and poor customer service. I anticipate hearing from someone in your department regarding this unfortunate lack of care. My email address is djm0092@aol.com. Thank you in advance for your attention.

The pharmacy department is a miserable excuse of good business practices. For months, service has been lacking but recently, I was texted a message that my prescription was ready for pickup. This is one that was filed electronically by my doctors office at 3 pm. I was at the pharmacy for pick up at 6:35 pm. After sitting in the drive up line for 20 minutes, waiting, I was told my prescription was not quite ready and could I just move over to the other line while they waited on the next customer. After sitting there was another 5 or so minutes, someone got on the speaker and told me I could not pick up a prescription from that line and that I should just move back to the original line to wait again. The clerk thought this was all very humorous and was laughing at my anger for being treated like that. Cashier #52850039 behaved deplorably and she thought she was very cute. There is no reason that anyone should have to wait that long to get a new prescription filled, and then be treated like that.
I have been a customer at Riteaid for a long time, but I am now done with being treated like the employees think they're doing me a favor to help. I will do the one thing I can do to make a difference. I will simply find another pharmacy. And I will tell anyone willing to listen that they should take their business elsewhere as well. When the news is announced that Riteaid is now bankrupt and closing, I will not be surprised. In fact, I will even enjoy that fact that the miserable employees are now without jobs. Unfortunately, this will affect the good employees as well, but since this behavior is pervasive in the pharmacy department, maybe just the pharmacy will close. I may not even notice as Riteaid goes the way of the dinosaurs, and other storefronts that cannot survive in a customer driven society.

The store located at 10 Snyder Avenue in Philadelphia never has the Rite Aid smoking patches. For over six months, every time I go, there are none the cashier tells me that the pharmacy takes them as soon as they come in for prescriptions. Today, I went in and they had none, so I went to the pharmacy and they verified that yes, they take them when they come in but that I should speak to the manager, name is Sam. Sam was standing right there and I asked him if they could order more to accommodate those customers that actually pay for them but he said they are pre-allocated by someone, not sure who, and that they get what they get. That does not sound right to me because the other Rite Aid near me, 2 miles away from this one, always has them, maybe they order more??? But this location is at Broad and Snyder, I have to pay to park there, and it is not the best neighborhood. So, since I am being inconvenienced now I am thinking of taking my business to Walgreen's on Broad Street since I have to go there anyway for the patches.

I called the rite aid pharmacy located at 1631 pitkin Ave in Brooklyn, NY 11212 on Sunday 03.31.19 to inquire about the availability of a prescription that my doctor sent there at my behest on 03.29.19. The pharmacist informed me that it was not available but he could order and it would be available in 3-4 days. On Wednesday 04.03.19 , I called the pharmacy and was informed that it was never ordered and that because it was categorized as a a level 2 prescription it could not be transferred to another pharmacy nor could it be expedited. The fact that medication is not ordered at the time the customer consents is an indicator of a serious lapse in their process and secondly there is no way to remediate such an egregious error once it has occurred is unacceptable.

I called a pharmacy tech about picking up a prescription at the Lima, OH Elm Street location and I was told I could pick it up early the next day. So the next day I called and I talked to a male pharmacy tech and he just immediately tells me I can’t. I explained the tech the day before said it was ok and he didn’t even check to see he just got smart with me and was very short and irritated. I explained I needed pain medicine a day earlier because I am post op orif ankle and the pain has been intense. He told me I should follow the instructions of the meds and I told him I had severe enough pain that I had to take a couple extra on nights my ankle was burning in pain. He didn’t care. He gave me a lecture about addiction which I know all about. He got real rude when he told me that he could take the pills every 6 hours when he got hurt! If he was in my shoes he would be yelling for morphine. I was shocked by his behavior and I cut him off and told him I will speak to my doctor. I work in a Radiology department and for 20 years I have shown compassion to all my patients in pain. This guy in pharmacy should be working for the gestapo by the way he talked down to me. I was highly offended and I hate to hear how he talks to others. Please tell the male pharmacist on elm street in Lima, Ohio that he can’t compare his pain to mine because he has no idea what I am going through after a very tough recovery of an orif survey of the ankle that has 10 screws put in my ankle. Customer service is big in my hospital I work at and it should also be very important in any pharmacy we get our drugs to help us get better. Talking down to people is disgusting and uncalled for when people are at their worst and trying to get better from surgeries, cancer, auto accidents, etc. Please correct your employees from being so jaded and rude. It was upsetting to know people like that work in a health care setting. I have never complained in any care I have received but I really felt this was necessary because this guy could really upset someone to the extreme some day and that is not fair to customers who are going through a very hard time. I will never call or go to the elm street Lima Ohio location again because of this experience I received.

My wife and I together have about 10 different prescriptions that are filled at a Rite Aid drugstore (05322 on each prescription I assume that is a store number). I call in multiple, say 3, prescriptions and after a reasonable number of days/time the nice Rite Aid computer calls and tells me that my prescription is ready, I go in and find out only one of the 3 is ready and the others will be "some time" (an hour to an hour and a half was the number I got today). Not to be unpleasant but I have worked with computers (in ALL areas) for 30 years and it would not be difficult to have the automated call give me which prescription(s) are ready, like maybe "your prescription 05322-0000000 is ready), or, at least tell me that "one prescription is ready". This 'inconvenience' has caused me to have to make an extra trip at least three or four times in the last 6 months.

I get my pain medicine from Rite Aide and have for years. I picked up my prescription on Saturday, and on a whim I counted the pills. I was short by 7 pills. That amounts to 3 days of pain relief. I went back to the pharmacist and told him what I had found. He said no, and that his count was correct. But that doesn't tell me where my pills are!!! I think this may have happened last month also as I came up short then, and I do not take more than prescribed.
I can't think that I am the only one that this is happening to.
I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on, but I feel you have a problem at that pharmacy.

I recently changed from using the Safeway Pharmacy to the Rite-Aid pharmacy in Burney, Ca. - in hopes of better service. I am greatly disappointed !
After having oral surgery, my prescription was FAXED to Rite-Aid pharmacy @ 11:45 am. The drive to the pharmacy took an HOUR, and was not ready when I arrived. I had to wait for an additonal 40 minutes, with a mouth full of blood/stitches/swelling to pick it up. I live 58 miles (round trip away ) so coming back was not an option.
Why the delay in filling my prescription??????????????
Is there are not enough staff to do the work load? Or is it - if you have to wait - you will spend time shopping and spend more $ at Rite-Aid??????
Very rude- as even calling in a prescription "days" ahead of time - it is not ready when you go to pick it up!
I will give your pharmacy one more chance - and then I will change back to Safeway - and I am spreading the word - how I have been treated.
Shelly A.Harmon
P.S. If you are given the song & dance - IF this is investigated - that the Dr. office had to be called to verify amount prescribed. That took less than 2 minutes. I was there!

The store in Gladwin mi 48624 is very disrespectful to its customers, as well as very slow for having a full employee load, the pharmacy is the whole down fall of that store, I have been accused of sharing medicine, I have been with out medicine due to being accused of giving fraudulent script, I have been withheld medicine because they could not find my script until the next day. They repeatedly don,t have it in stock. I bought lots of merchandise from this store and still am treated poorly so I will not ever return to this store again, wow what a sad day for me to have to say that, but now I get to go again this month with out my script until tomorrow and so withdrawals are so fun!!! I wish that pharmacologist felt my stress and anxiety just once maybe he would be nicer to his clients, I only take 2 medications and they can't seem to get that right! I am 56 years old and take Lyrica 100 mlg 2 times a day for a disability from a car accident and I take anoro for COPD. Hope you have better people working in other stores! I have had this script for many years now and have had problem after problem this year.

Customer service at RiteAid Pharmacy is awful. The lady pharmacist is not helpful. She wants it her way or no way. She was on duty on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. I am changing my drugstore after 40 years. This is absolutely degrading to have to do.

On Aug 12,2017 I purchased Capzasin HR for $15.99.I went to return it and was told I could only get a store card and for only $11.00.I had my receipt which had the date had the price and even showed I paid cash.On top of that my Rite Aid card number was attached. It didn't have the bar scan code on it and because of that it was treated as no receipt. Are you serious? It had all the info .I was transferred here from Kmart and if this is the way you treat your customers I will have to go elsewhere.I totally understand if I had no receipt for the way this was handled but not when my receipt had all info on it.Bad Customer Seevice.Rite Aid 1000 Key Parkway Frederick Md.

I phoned in for a prescription refill and the automated system informed me it would be ready for pickup any time after 10:00 the following day. When I went through the drive through the following day at 11:00 I was told it was not ready and would not be ready for 1 hour. Thus was very inconvenient as I no longer drive and must rely on my neighbor to take me to the store. I swill probably be without my prescription for several days.

My husband just had knee replacement. We went to fill a prescription for percocett and the pharmacist treated me like my husband (a professor ) is a drug addict. Neither of us have ever taken pain medication except post surgery. I told a manager he said he had to get the pharmacists side of the story. Seriously? Rude & unprofessional.

I had a prescription called in on 10/05 at 1500 went next am to pick it up and I was told to come back in 1-2 hours went back in 3 hours and it still wasn't ready and all I got was attitude. This is delay of treatment. I now have to wait until tomorrow to start this medicine. I have changed pharmacies and will take my business elsewhere to Walgreens now. I have put in a formal complaint with my insurance about RiteAid customer service.

The workers that works at your location in Brooklyn on Pennsylvania branch have no interest in being costumer first. They also have are not interested that medications save lives and keep some people alive. Prescription was sent there for my mom about 2pm and it was very important for her health. Went to pick up about 6 pm and was told the are close for restocking. No posting anywhere in the store stating time of closing for stock, so customers will be aware when not to have the doctors send scripts there on a certain day or time to pick up. Time and time again its over 8 hours for pick up, excuses how the are short of staff. Guess what life saving medication and people health is a primary concern may reasons for the way now business is done. Rude, nasty, and most of all disrespectful to costumers stop by and check this site out.

Rite-Aid is the closest pharmacy to my house, so I got my perscription filled there. Worst decision I ever made. They told me to drop it off and come back because the wait was 3 hours. I dropped it off and ran some errands. They called to say the perscription was filled but when I went to the store, they still haven't filled it! Said it would be another hour, even though they called me to come. I told them that they should fill my perscription next since they called me and told me it was done. The pharmacist argued with me, did not try to help, and walked away while I was talking. The rudest person I've ever met. I'll never go back to Rite-Aid but instead drive the extra 20 minutes to go to CVS.

I used to go to this Walgreen's few years ago and service was always terrible and slow. Especially at the pharmacy. I switched and started going to RiteAid. I figured I would switch back and give Walgreen's another try. Absolutely nothing has changed. That Pharmacy has the rudest bunch of women working. I complained about the 10 cars in the drive thru not moving and the women working the drive thru looked up at me like she smelled shit! She started giving me the excuse that she was the only one working.

Well that is not my problem. If Walgreen's is that busy they need to hire additional people. Preferably people with better customer service skills than this bunch. I then went to complain to the manager and the whole time im telling her my experience she's smiling at me on the verge of laughing. I am so done with Walgreen's. We have a new CVS that opened a few doors down and that is where I went when I left. I wont be going back and am taking my business to RiteAid. They should be warned I'm coming and spending a lot of money with them.

For my regular medicines or personal health care, I make sure to visit RiteAid as they have the best products. I believe in quality and reliability and RSD is the place to get this. The employees there check the prescription twice before giving any medicines that we ask. Keep your whole family healthy by taking products only from Rite Aid. One of the best places I have come across. After all who would want to take a chance with health. So be sure and shop only at Rite Aid.

When I asked for a product I was told they do not carry that product. However, the day before my mother was in the same CVS and purchased that item and that is why I went to that particular CVS. My mother could not believe it and went to that CVS the very next day and purchased the product for me to have. Sadly, the manager at the time when I went said they do not sell that item and showed me the other 2 items they did sell and were on the shelf. I went to Rite Aid instead and found a product to use. Perhaps I need to stick to Rite Aid?
