I received a call today from a foreign sounding man named Mr. Michael Washington also know as Mr. White during the conversation. He told me I was 3rd place winner in the IGB Winners International and I won 2.5 Million dollars and 2012 Mercedes Benz. I won it for being a good American and shopping at KMART & WALMART. He said they are in LAS VEGAS & the company number was 702-489-1367. He gave me my winning number 426983 and an extra bonus number 92592. He goes over the spelling of you name & other information which he had.
I have just been called by Winners International and a man claiming to be Albert Johnson told me I have won $365,000 and a new Dodge Journey. to be dilivered today Sat 12/3/11 . I was told to get a Green Dot Money Pack Paper scratched off card for $499. At the nearest Walmart Or Kmart . They said they will deliver the car today and $25,000 cash . I had to call 1-876-289-5992 ext-9 and talk to Mr Real Wybez about delivery and getting the Green dot card . I am not going to get the card. I don`t know why a legitamate prize would ever want a money card from Walmart.
Just received a phone call from “Winners International” saying I had won $2.5 million dollars just for paying my bills on time. Then the fellow asked if I paid my bills on time. WHAT??? If I won the money for doing so, why would you have to ask if I did? I listened to the schpiel for a minute or two to see just how I was supposed to get my “winnings”. Of course, I had to have a receipt that would cost me $78 before they would deliver the $2.5 million to my door the next morning. Did I want to pay the $78 now or in the morning – if I paid now, my winnings would get here earlier. I opted for “in the morning”, saying that I would give them the $78 in exchange for the $2.5 million. That didn’t fly with him and he argued that they couldn’t deliver UNTIL I had the receipt, which of course, would cost me $78.
This morning we received a call from FRANK MILLER who told us we had won a 2011 Mercedes Benz which would be delivered to us today along with a cashier’s check (no amount given). All we had to do was go to CVS and purchase a Green Dot re-loadable money card and call him back at 1-876-572-5524. I milked him for as much info as I could get, told him okay and I would call him within 2 hours. After approx. 45 minutes he called back and said he needed to verify the timing of the purchase of the Green Dot card and our return home.
I received the first call that I had received over 1 million dollars in a Reader’s Digest but in order to receive my winnings I must step 1 go to the nearest Walmart and 2) get a Money reload pack for $499.00 3) come home 4) wait to receive a UPS delivery for the amount of othe check. I was somewhat skeptical and asked him directly was this a scam? I observed the #876 he called was from Jamaica. I said that I was not convinced this was the real deal but I knew my husband had entered into several sweepstakes and I thought perhaps this is it. I told them if it wasn’t I would be reporting him to the federal authorities.
A Jobs Chambers called while I was at my moms & told me he spoke to my mom. I identified myself as her son and he said yes he waited to call as she said to call later when I get home from work. I knew immediately that it was a lie but I did not let him know I knew. He told me my mom won a new 2011 mercedes benz and $850,000 and he would not lie because he was a church goer with kids well he laid down a line of bull which I listen to than told me all it would take is going to cvs or walmart and getting a money pac reload card for $500 than call him back and he will send his people out to moms house with the car and the money or meet her at her bank as they are honest people.
I rcvd a phone call for a “Don Adams”, CEO of Winners International, he stated that “MR” had won $250,000.00. I stated that I was not in fact MR but her sister. He asked me if I was lying and he could lose his job if he gave me any information regarding MR’s prize, but he would trust me since I sounded sincere. He said that a certified UPS prize truck will be in my neighborhood today and will drop off the check but MR would have to be home to fill out the paper work. He wanted to verify my address, which I told him that I could not confirm or deny any information. I asked for his information and phone number, again he said that this was strictly confidential and no one could know about this.
If you ever receive a call from anyone saying you have won a large sum of money, HANG UP. Sorry to say, I have been scammed out of thousands already. A man calling himself Thomas Washington calls to say I have 2.5 million dollars waiting for me . All I have to do is pay the custom fees to get the package. The crazy thing is, I had to send this money to Richard Gould 1001 phatts st. After they take that money, they call back and say there is another small problem, shipping fees, more calls come, more problems. The problem is they are so convincing to elderly people. After all my friends convinced me I was stupid, I recieved a call from A Frank Thomas saying he was the Fbi and was here to help me get my package.
I just got a call from Payid Honeywell who claims to be with Winner’s Circle. He said I filled out an entry in October and he called to tell me that I am a winner of $2million and 800K in cash. All I have to do is go to Walgreens (or Walmart, etc) and get a green dot scratch card for $250 and be ready with the 14 digit number when he returns the call, for which he gave me a password. The truck is ready to bring my money – with a CAMERA crew. I also need two valid forms if id.
I don’t believe him, and I am sure this is a scam, although I cannot find it specifically on the web. Interestingly, I could hear a rooster crow in the background at one point.
My Mawmaw recieved a call from phone of the guys from this Winners International… we were all excited, so my husband took her to Western Union to pick up a package and I got to thinking that something had to be fishy about all this… I told my Mom and we both looked up Winners International and found nothing but bad stuff about them.. my husband ended up calling them back to let them know they were at Western Union and they wanted my Mawmaw to wired them $120.. Mawmaw said no.. my Mom ended up calling the number to see who it was and it was a cell phone number from Jamacia and the guy actually started flirting with my Mom!!! Like I told my Mawmaw if you have to pay to receive money then its a SCAM.. don’t fall for it.
Got a call from 876-861-8292 and they asked for Karen. I told them this isn’t Karen’s cell phone any more then they said whoever has the cell number was a winner and they wanted to send me a package but needed to confirm my name and address. I wouldn’t give them any information. I called the number back one day later (today) and was told by a Michael Washington that he is the CEO of Winners International and that I won $1.5MM and a new S1 class Mercedes. I asked who was he actually trying reach when they called the previous day and he needed to check and call me back. He called back from a restriced number but I couldn’t talk then, so he said to call back at 707-666-7443.

Call came in as Restricted on my cell phone and a heavily Jamaican accented man named Michael James claiming to be from Sacremento, CA and that he has a $2.5 million dollar UPS package for me. He said I won this fabulous prize because I pay my bills on time. I knew this was a scam and hung up. Mr. James called back again and I let it roll to voice mail. He gave the same speach again and asked me to call back at 876-385-3964. As I pondered how to get back at these idiots and doing a simple Google search on the number, he called AGAIN. I answered the phone and immediately said I had a money order for him and to take down these numbers: F003U003C003K003U. He hung up on me!
I received a call this morning from a private number from a man calling himself Reverand so-so (my brain shuts off at the sound of any th hing curch like). He proceeded to tell me that I had a cashiers check waiting for me and that their delivery team was waiting to deliver my prizes as soon as he confirmed a delivery date. It all sounded a lil suspicious so I asked him agsin who he was and what company he worked for, he repeated his name and company along with his pre programmed spiel about me winning these prizes that they would deliver as soon as he got a date that would be good for me.
I was just contacted – on my cell phone – by a man from, he claimed, UPS with a RESTRICTED number saying that they had to deliver a package to me – A Mercedes no less – with the #400880USA. They said they were on my street right now and needed my home number to deliver my award. I asked them how they got my number in the sweepstakes and I’ve never entered any sweepstakes. They said they just needed my address number. I then asked them that they must have the wrong number. They then verified my cell phone number. I then asked them what is the name of the person you are delivering this package to, and they said “Rob”.
A very suave man named MR. WASHINGTON AND JOHN TRAVARRES….preying on low income people preying on the fact my chihuahua was stolen he promised his security company would have my dog returned by last evening! For $109 I was to receive $800,000 a brand new Escalade and a Blackberry. I would be on television and be able to tell people who take in stray dogs it is like stealing a child. My dogs picture would be televised. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS SCAM!!!!! Mr. Washington will even use your religion and faith to make you BELIEVE him!
I had two phone calls within three days from a person identifying himself as Richard Brown indicating that I have won $95,000.00 and a 2011 Mercedes Benz because I paid my bills on time. He stated that these items would be delivered on a particular day if I would go to WalMart to the Western Union and send $149.00 for the delivery fee for the free gifts. The number that came up was 876.586.6054 from Jamaica. I sensed that this was a scam inspite of the fact that this person was constantly trying to convince me of the legitimacy of his call and the prizes.
John Washington with Winners International called me and said I had won $1.5 million that would be delivered today as a cashiers check through Bank of America. I needed to send them $275 to cover a fee. Mr Washington had a heavy accent and there is noise in the background. They knew my address and phone number. They said that Geico Insurance was their courier. I questioned them. 20 minutes later, Jeffery Scotts called and said he was a Geico manger. After I questioned him, the line was full of static and the call was dropped. Scam perhaps.
Today someone from International Payout Services and first i couldn’t understand him and then he got someone eles who could speak better, and she said that i had won 2 1/2 million dollards and a 2011 Volkswagoon and wanted to know what color i wanted it, there was only one thing that i had to do.They wanted me to send 495.00 western union and i said that i had no money and that they could take it out of my winnings, and they said that they couldn’t do it that way , so i told them the day that they come to my house that i would have the money and then we would both get what we wanted and again they said that it could not be done that way so they hung up and didn’t call back.
David Brooks called with a very heavy accent and informed me that I had won $150,000. He stated that in order for me to receive the delivery by UPS, I should go to Walmart and purchase a money order for $175.00. I should then call him back at 1-876-310-1326 and give him the numbers on the money order. I played along with him and told him that I had gone and purchased the money order. He called later and asked for the numbers and said that UPS would be at my address at 5:00. I told him that I did not feel comfortable giving out the numbers.
