Broken Screen on MyTouch 4G Phone

I recently broke the screen on the MyTouch 4G. I had to make an insurance claim for $130 dollars. The insurance company told me that they would be sending me a phone with all the same features. That was a lie. When I called to complain they told me to be happy with what I got, and told me that if I have a problem to contact Tmobile directly. So I did. I was told I would be sent a replacement of equal quality and features but I needed to call back in 72 hours so they could process it. When I called back they told me that they could not do that but if I sent them another $130 dollars they would send me the right phone.

I refused and told the customer retention guy that the phone I have is junk and I want what I paid for. He told me it was my fault for not knowing what the insurance company was sending me. WTF… He continued to tell me the phone I have now is worth $200 so I asked if he wanted to buy it. He said “No I don’t need that phone” I replied neither do I. How can I get some help with this?

I DO NOT USE TEXTING. I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE TEXTS FROM T-MOBILE. I have been to T-mobile stores FIVE TIMES to get their junk texting OFF my phone and FURTHER ONES blocked. Each time they said they had done so. Due to the business I am in I need my phone active 24/7 for emergencies. All through the night I am getting the pings and just now whilst writing this had three of them. It shows “Text msg waiting. Mailbox full. Delete old msgs.’ WTF. So I can receive more junk messages from T-Mobile? This is a phone supplied to me by the firm for whom I work so I cannot eliminate it, however, I can make damned sure I NEVER use T-Mobile for my personal use. Virgin Mobil or Cricket are far superior in the services they offer and one does not need a contract either.
