An open letter to Chase Banks and Chase Banking worldwide. I don’t care much about the inconvenience. Nor do I really care about the overdraft fee very much. What I do care about is being lied to repeatedly and the holding of funds for no reason. I have been through quite a bit with this bank, and am tired of them holding funds, rejecting transfers, and charging me wild random fees left and right. I have almost had enough, and will probably switch banks soon. The overdraft fees really bother me, but at least if chase would work with me I wouldn’t care half as much! It’s the fact that they are incredibly rude and customer service could care less about us, the consumer!

Does anyone notice the fact that the balance you get from Chase from their auto-notification and the actual balance is different??? If you spend based onthe Auto-Notification and over draw your account, They charge you $35.00 for each overdraft. I’m putting together a Class Action Lawsuit, Want to join?
I had overdraft protection line of credit, which I checked on the website was still active — stating the amount of the credit available. I haven’t used it since 2008, but when I decided to use it, it never came out of that account, but they charged over $400 in fees for 4 checks — absurd! They could’ve put those checks in another order and only one would have bounced! Now I don’t have enough for the rent check that is coming due tomorrow. They said the line of credit was not linked in with that account (although I only have one account), but will do so (after all that damage has been done). I have no money for the next 11 days to even eat, trying to cover for their fees.
