I am normally not one to complain, however after reading the similar stories about Comcast, I just wonder how large corporations can justify frauding the public this way. Like the other customers, I too was lured from another provider Dish Network) to accepr a $200 gift card offer last march. My bills were paid on time for the last 6 months and still no word from Comcast after 5 telephone calls. I was also told that someone from management will get in touch, what a joke!! Its not only the money, but the idea that they can do this to the general public. I am seriously thinking about filing a class action lawsuit, even if I have to spend thousands of dollars out of my own pocket.
Also, I plan to contact the local media in the Detroit, Mi. metro area to expose this scam.

I am in the same boat, I was promised $300 and it has been 6 months now, I have spoken to 5 different individuals, 2 of whom promised to call me back but they did not. Did you ever got your money? I am thinking of not paying my bill for a month and then disconnected my service, I know they will come for their money and that is when the trouble will start because I have written documentation that $300 will be given to me.
I had the same problem. I called 3 times and they told me I wasn’t ever going to get my gift card. Blamed it on a third party vendor. After I blew up telling them this made them look very shady they offered a $200 credit to my account. After additional complaints they threw in 3 months movie channel. I wonder how many people out there forget they were offered the card and never received it.
Comcast is the worst! We were promised a 3 month credit for switching our business phone lines to Comcast & after 5 emails & numerous phone calls, we received 1 month credit. Let alone the transfer of the lines was done all wrong, they installed used equipment & faulty because the installer used a toothpick to hold a wire (i took pictures & sent to the Area manager) only to be told that it wasn’t there installer but a sub. Regardless, end result I switched back to Windstream & no major problems. But definetly not paying my last 2 months of service that they keep trying to collect. If your business relies on getting phone calls & having good internet DONT USE COMCAST! Stay away from these crooks, they don’t keep their promises & have the WORST SUPPORT!
Linda0216. Irritated as HELL. I just got off the phone with them. They owe me a $150. Visa card. Fourth time speaking with them. They play dumb, tell you they have no record, now the latest is… We have you on record for only $100. WTF! I said I’d only accept that under protest. The same thing has happened to me! I signed up for the triple play and was promised a gift card and 5 months later I still do not have it. Also, they had issues with my telephone for the first month and a half I did not have a home phone. After going back and fourth multiple times and spending hours on the phone my home phone finally works. I asked for a credit to my account for the month I did not have phone service and I am still wating on the credit. My advice, do not call the 800 number for help because your request will get lost in the shuffle and you will get passed around to multiple people. Email them, you get a quicker response and it is documented. Comcast service sucks!
