After reading several customer reviews, I bought a HD9 Bluetooth Headset from DinoDirect and was pleased with the price: approximately $35. Much to my surprise when I received it, it came in the Motorola box with all Motorola accessories, etc. Now, I was surprised because my friends at work have this same headset, and they all paid $60+ for theirs. So when I got mine I was VERY pleased… that was until I put the headset on and heard the tinny sound coming from it. I listened to a friend’s headset at work and it was DEFINITELY the “real deal,” with awesome bass and bass boost.
So I called the DinoDirect reviews and customer service line (which was an American phone number, by the way) and asked for a Return Authorization number so I could send this obvious fake back to them. The Chinese people (yes, Chinese) I talked to on numerous occasions kept insisting the product was “Quality numba 1″ and “we are here every second, every hour, every day” and “don’t you worry we will send you a new one.” I said “I DON’T WANT A NEW ONE! I WANT MY RETURN AUTHORIZATION TO RETURN THIS FOR A REFUND!”
She kept telling me to please send in a picture of the damage, and I told her 2,675 times you CANNOT photograph crappy sound! I argued with this woman for at least an hour and she finally said “we send you new one and you don’t need ship back the first one, okay?”
I finally got so fed up with them that I said “fine” and hung up on her. One of the on-line customer support folks told me “that product clearly marked non OEM on our website,” and I said “Yes, but your website ALSO says “100% satisfaction guaranteed, no questions asked,” but nobody there in CHINA ever relented, saying only they would send me “new one” and that everything “pass quality check” when shipped. It, too, came in a “Motorola” box with “Motorola” accessories, as well.
Sad fact is, I have two of these now but I’m afraid to sell them here in the U.S. because they are KNOCK-offs! And the sound is NOT up-to-par. Oh, yes, they would be good enough for some people who only used them for a phone, but I’d probably get in trouble for selling the damn things because they’re fakes.
DINO DIRECT’S “100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED” IS A BALD-FACED LIE! Buy from this site ONLY if you have money to throw away. Read the reviews first!

Ouch!
I bought a portable hard drive from DIno Direct it looked great till I realised that neither the power cord or usb plug matched the sockets on the hard drive. If the power socket was a conventional one I would have just got a power cord but it was very unconventional ( I know I used to be an electronics tech ). Their response just find a new socket from the shops. THey would not listen to the fact that I couldn’t get one and they would not replace it. I have not been back since.
Thank you all for complaints on DinoDirect. Just before proceeding to buy something from their site I just checked this site. Now that I know, I won’t ever buy from them and will send group e-mails to my friends NOT to Buy anything from this website.
Dino Direct is really a fraud. BUYER BEWARE. I ordered a dress from them which I intended to wear for a wedding. Dress was sent too late and when received, the item was of poor quality so I returned the item. They told me to include $10.00 for the tax when returning the item. I returned the item without the $10.00. They never refunded me the money I paid for the dress, not a cent. Their website and customer service are unreachable. DINO DIRECT IS A SCAM BIG TIME.

Wouldn’t rely on Paypal to defend you. I was scammed by another Chinese dealer when I bought a named brand USB drive. Turned out to be a much lesser capacity fake -I complained to Paypal thinking I was covered -not so -You have to return the item in original packaging WITH tracked postage … would have cost me as much as the original fraud because you have to prove you returned the item in original condition. Paypal are as bad as the scammers.

I have PAID FOR MY ORDER IN FULL VIA PAYPAL but when I log into my account on the Dino Direct website, it is marked as “unpaid” & when I tried to email them on their forums, one of their arrogant staff finally replied after I had posted & directly emailed them about a dozen emails!!!…
My order # is: 542372-DD & finally after a ridiculously long wait this arrogant staff member told me that I had not paid because I had not clicked on their “security checkout” even though I did & I emailed them back a copy of the entire email PayPal sent me including my transaction ID #:6199416246681123P
but they still have not got back to me & my order is still showing up as “order unpaid” despite my numerous emails to them throughout the entire day which have remained unanswered!!! -I feel that I may have no choice but to open up a PayPal dispute & that will be proof to them that I PAID IN FULL despite their arrogant staff telling me that I haven’t when in fact I HAVE & WILL PROVE IT BY FILING A DISPUTE ON THEM IF NEED BE!!!…

Also, in the beginning it was possible to speak to someone directly via a live chat option on their website but now it is not an available option & I would say that “it would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle” than to communicate or deal with these crooks!!!:(…
Worst of all they promote special sale event periods to lure unsuspecting consumers into ordering when they clearly show no intention of fulfilling these orders & they will even scam you on one of these sale events at Christmas time while leaving you with no hope of your goods arriving on time or of seeing your money without filing a long PayPal dispute!:( BUYER BEWARE OR ELSE YOU WILL CERTAINLY REGRET IT!!!

I just bought from DinoDirect, I have been waiting for my item to ship. It is one week later and it says, “Preparing Shipping”. I keep taking photographs ever step of the way because the status of my item keeps changing. Example: From “searching inventory” to “item in stock” “ensuring quality”, packageing, and now stuk for two days on “preparing shipping”. I will not buy from them again, I don’t trust them. It is taking WAY too long and they haven’t even shipped my item yet. I will fight tooth and nail for my money back or the quality Purple 50w lazier I bought from them.
I was planning to buy a lot of stuff from these guys, including a bluetooth headset. I found their free shipping, 50% price off and omnipresent customer service policies a bit suspicious and decided to look for some reviews about them. Everyone please do NOT shop at dino direct!!! I bought an item and paid on 19 th march 2011, and 17 of April 2011 i still waiting.Then i i opened a dispute on paypal, they reply said that the item was shipped on 2nd April, please waiting for 15-20 days for the goods. This is ridiculous!!! They despatch the item 2 weeks after i paid. and keep asking me to close the case in PayPal. Bad service!!!!

I ordered a Prom dress from dinodirect about 2 months ago…..it says that the order is being processed but we have not heard anything back. we have complained and asked when our order will be in. my prom is in 2 weeks and i still have not recieved my dress. they said my dress would be here in 7 business days….still nothing so i ordered a new prom dress else where and have not gotten my money back from dinodirect. do not order from this website!!!
I wonder if your dress ever turned up and what it was like. I ordered a wedding dress for my daughter which looked lovely in the photo on the website. When it turned up it was a disaster, looked like a sack on her and was cheaply made. After weeks and weeks of hassling them and being told the parcel hadn’t arrived back there, (I was told by the post office it had and been signed for) they finally admitted it had arrived. I then had to hassle them alot more before they agreed to refund my money (I gather I was lucky to get that!) but they still haven’t refunded the postage ($100) that was promised to me. They said that because I didn’t pay the 99c insurance (99c?!) they wouldn’t pay for the postage. I haven’t found that yet on the website! I have sent countless emails to them and get a different answer every time, offering me giftcards of varying amounts, the latest being $20, plus the assurance they will “deal with it promptly”. I will be warning everyone I know never to deal with this company, their service is utterly appalling.

I ordered a spy pen recording device for my grandsons birthday, they confirmed the order on 12th May and said delivery on way. I still havent got it, Have tried communicating with them on e.mail but they do not reply, also cannot get through to their “forum” site. I shall now try getting my oney back through the paypal site, but I think its going to be just a scam.

I was weary about ordering something off of DinoDirect because I bought something before reading the reviews. Needless to say, I was afraid that I would never get my product or I’d have some kind of trouble with them. But that was not the case. I got my order today. It’s exactly as described. It took 12 days to get from Hong Kong to CA.

I have shopped with dino direct before, mainly for their clothing. Their overall quality is good, and I have no major complaints about them apart from the sizing chart which is not accurate. The retail price of clothing in Australia is too expensive, for eg a good coat here would cost over $120 for a coat made in china, while Dino direct offers coats at a cheaper price, and their quality is above average..I have just ordered another batch of clothing from Dino direct, and do look forward for their arrival. I suppose electronics are a debatable one, with the cheap rpice that Dino direct offers, I think the quality would be compromised as they need to keep the price low. OS i would not recommend buying any major electronics such as phones or e-books. You are better off buying them off retail as they have more quality control and you pay abit more to get the quality assurance and customer service, as you can just walk into the store and ask the salesperson to help you.
No matter how good the price looks, do yourself a favour and avoid this company. I ordered four items and paid. I later received an email attempting to say, in extremely broken English, that they had run out of stock of one of the items and were sending me a completely different item they had picked as a replacement. I replied and said I didn’t want the other item; I wanted the item I had ordered or a refund. A few weeks later a package turned up with three out of the four items I ordered. Ever since I have been sending them emails and trying to decipher the broken English responses. They have not given me a refund, sent the missing item, promised to send the missing item or said anything that even remotely makes sense about the situation. Steer clear of this mob; they are as unprofessional as they come!

Order an Andriod 2.3 tablet “PC” for web browsing, etc (It takes them 3 or 4 days just to announce that the order is filled, sheesh). I get the tablet and charge it up according to the Engrish instructions and turn it on. All I get is a lit, white, screen and no OS. Do the live chat with “Sharon” and she offers a $90 gift certificate to buy another one (!). After a little back-and-forth with Sharon, she offers to send another tablet and when I ask for postage to send the other back, she tells me to keep it. I just got the replacement and charged it for a few hours before turning it on. Push the “on” button and . . . nothing happens. Dead. Now I’m back to the the Live Chat this evening to see if I can get my money back on this crap. Bottom line. Buyer beware. Don’t buy anything from these folks. All they are selling is garbage.
I had the exact same problem only they were less generous with me offered $50 to buy another one and for me to keep the original. I declined and have just sent it back to china god knows what will happen now, they will probably forward it on to you! Very shoddy!!! Never again.

However, when we received the robot, and opened the box much to my grandson’s disappointment and my anger, the robot’s arm was actually broken! unfixable it was. He had been waiting excitedly for it for weeks. dino direct’s items return policy is complicated and fiddley. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. I just cancelled an order before it got shipped and they gave me such BS. Only way to get a refund is to open a paypal dispute. They said it takes 3 day to refund. I said that’s BS so then I opened the dispute and BAM there came my refund in like 5 minutes. Same problems the others have reported – lying customer service about my order status, didn’t give the bonuses and rewards promised on the website for orders over a certain amount. I figured it wasn’t worth the cheap price to have to deal with their BS if something didn’t work. SCAMMERS!
OH MY….I wish I’d found this site first. I have started a dispute regarding the charge. DinoDirect is bad news. The print on the invoice is so small that you need a magnifying glass to read it! The ANDROID tablet does not do anything. It turns on, it reboots a few times, then it does nothing. They do not reply to any “CASE” that you bring to complaint…..They are a dishonorable company.
My name is Peter Ting. I bought a GPS(E-GPS-041-01) from DinoDirect. I received this package in late July, 2011. I spent weeks trying to get it to work but failed, because this GPS device does not have any GPS software loaded! After several conversations with Dino’s Customer Service (650)265-1038, I did not get any information regarding the non-functional GPS (Order ID: O8593499-DD) on 8/1/2011. I shipped the non-functional GPS to Dino’s Customer Service: 4020 El Camino Real,Apt.3101,Palo Alto CA 94306 by UPS. It cost me $12.60. I told them that this non-functional GPS doesn’t have navigation software loaded. I just want a simple 5″ GPS. I would like to get a refund. If not, then at least ship me a simple working 5″ GPS with the same value. Today, Aug. 11,2011, I was told by UPS that the Dino’s customer svc refused to accept this package. The customer svc told me that I should ship this package to the manufacturer in China instead. This is unacceptable because it would cost me at least another $53.00 in shipping to have it sent to China! I bought this product in USA, why I should ship this package to China. In addition to the cost of GPS ($94.60), I have to spend another $53.00 to ship this package to China, plus the UPS $12.60 that I was trying to return to the Dino’s Customer Svc. and was rejected by them. I think it is very fair for me to demand to get a refund of my money.
I have spent 2 months trying to secure a refund for and order that was never supplied by this fraudulent company. They still refuse to refund my payment for the order, despite my never receiving it. I would strongly suggest that anyone considering purchasing from this group find a more reputable online company to deal with or risk losing your money.

I bought a car stereo incl. GPS from them. It arrived with pirated navigation software 3 years old. Many streets weren’t even listed and can’t be updated. The unit works…sometimes, has plenty of software bugs (not the pirated part though), re-boots my connected phone all the time, does not play more than 123 songs stored on the sd card, turns itself off, …and the list goes on. All up: a piece of $h#t. I complained and they asked me to lodge a complaint through their system which they made sure that they already had deleted my account. I was unable to log in. So whatever positive you hear on the net 95% chances are that this is written by themselves. Don’t you agree, Louis?

By having said this this will make now Dino smarter, so in the future they might even put more effort into making it more plausible. Oh, btw, don’t worry that their offer with the counter on their website will eventually run down to zero and you won’t get “that great offer”: The time will all start over again….

Got the dress November 2011,quality BAD,OMG BAD!!! Send the dress back the next day,forgot to include a receipt,so the “Sharon” said that they got the dress but not a receipt, so i scan it and send them by email. Long story short…… still waiting for refund my money…. Scammers! I hate this people! Not going to give up for this 100$, i have family to spend this money,not to you “Sharon”.
I bought a security system off them…arrived in a timely manner, however the monitor will not turn on and the cameras do not have adapters for Australian power points..the monitor screen has no plastic film to protect and looks used…after first submitting pics, i was asked for a video..they said they will refund after I pay $71 AU to tracking option to have the goods returned..(The goods were $130) which PayPal supports…if the goods are faulty PayPal should not support the dealer …..after informing them of this the reply was to use regular mail with tracking, ..there is no option for that for Zone B…they want me to close the dispute first. UPDATE: I had a phone call on 20th Aug from DD stating my refund had been paid to my account already the day before being the 19th, however the emails I received from them offering a refund are dated 20th Aug…yet i just had an email today 21st Aug saying they want me to close disputes before they do the refund..so the above is a lie….it has not yet shown on my credit card. Paypal advised not to close disputes until my refund is reversed on my credit card. UPDATE: then this: “Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We think there must be some misunderstanding here. Actually we issued a refund on 22th, August. The total value is $130.66. Also, we sent you an email meanwhile to inform that. As it will take some moments for the transaction to appear in your account, you may check it in a couple of days. Any further problems, please feel free to contact us.” They told me to keep the goods. This has not shown in my account…however PayPal has decided in my favour after me forwarding the LYING email about the dates….it has shown in my PayPal dispute I will receive a refund…they have tried so hard to keep the money and wanting me to close disputes on their say so that they have refunded

Yes, a select few items may be Free Shipping, but you have to trawl through dozens of items to find out which ones are. When you go to the checkout most of the stuff will show up as “Free Shipping” -BUT when you go to “confirm” with PayPal you find a squillion dollars “magically” appears as shipping- unless you are wary its too easy to pay big dollars for postage that makes the items no longer economical.

If Dino Direct was genuine it would separate the “Free Shipping” items from the rest. Prices look good until you factor in that the “Free Shipping” is actually not!

i think it’s cuz u selected too many items that the package became big, they’d consider it as oversized package or sth like that, and charged u shipping fee for it. Though it’s really silly, if u divided ur package into smaller oders, u wouldn’t get charged and if u know how to divide, u’ll even have free shipping by DHL express. If ppl don’t know how to, they may get shipping fee or have free shipping but by regular post shipping n wait forever. I experienced that n got charged over 50 eur shipping fee, but then i found out that if i only ordered 5 items a time, i’d have free shipping. that was so pitiful.
I had bought an item from this Dinodirect as well. The item is broken and cannot be setup. I cannot find phone number and I request RMA. It has been a week now and no respond. DON’T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE!
I’ve ordered couple stuff in Dino Direct via DHL. I received tracking # within 2 days and got the stuff within 3 days. the quality is aweasome. So i am curious if i am just lucky or some of their product was just not as expect.

I just ordered from them and already I am having trouble. I had ordered it on 9/30/11 and a week later it was still processing. I tried several times to get in touch to see what the status was and finally I got a hold of someone and they said that it was a national holiday and they were off for 7 days. I thought that was fishy. Spoke with someone again on 10/10/11 and asked if I would receive my order by 10/25/11 (when I need it). They said yes but as I read this I’m very concerned. Hopefully I will not have horror stories like the rest of you. Wish me luck!!

I just placed an order before checking this review board and now trying to cancel and already having problems. Not able to request RMA. Can’t seem to get anyone who can cancel my order eventhough it is approved but not yet shipped. Any suggestions from anyone? It’s true that we all get carried away by seeing dino directs competitive prices, attractive product photos, and beautiful reviews, but all/most of them are not true. Never get carried away with their customer reviews on their site, because customers even reluctantly write good reviews on their site as to collect much points as possible for the next purchase. Recently I even got a mail from 1 of their team asking me to write a good review on some other independent site in order to receive up to 100points. So don’t ever believe on their reviews. About their customer service, It’s the worst. Today with greatest difficulty I was able to catch a customer service person called Emily on that chat site. I asked for my $10 gift card they promised when referring a friend through face book. I was so surprised she said, “get what you deserve from face book, we can’t help it” I hope I don’t have to say anything else about this dirty site.
My mother and I bought 3 different dresses through Dino Direct. ALL 3 were the wrong colour. The first dress was the Pippa middleton. The quality was good, But I ordered Sage and it arrived in Aqua with horrible lace. I was offered a gift card which I accepted, thinking this might be a one off. I ordered a mother of the bride dress for my mother in Burgendy and it arrived in Fushia. This is a huge difference. The coat was far too small with horrible mismatched sequenced. They blamed us for not giving the right measurements. This is simply not the case. The 3rd dress was a bridesmaid dress which I ordered in Sage and it arrived in Lime green. I was offered a gift card but declined as 3 counts and your out. It they could not get it right for 3 dresses then they were not getting it on the 4th. I went through paypal for a refund, but I had to bay the postage which is unfair as it was just as expensive as the dress! All I wonted was a refund and for Dino to pay for the postage to return, which is not unreasonable. I also was waiting for my $10 gift card that never arrived. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Do your self a favour and avoid this site

Oh great…I just ordered 2 wedding dresses and a veil from their website two days ago. Someone told me that they ordered their wedding dress from this site and it came fast and was perfect! So I decided to take a chance. Now I am completely stressing that I made a HUGE mistake…..I was on the live chat with “Sharon” yesterday making sure that the dresses would be here in time and she assured me that they would and that “she would make them a priority”. I will keep updating on my journey with DinoDirect. Crossing my fingers that maybe mine will be one of the good experiences!

I bought a dress on august 3th, for US$37.44, paying a US$36.615 shipping to have it on time for a special party on mid October. They sent the wrong color, then I sent it back paying US$60. I didnt have the dress on time, and when I got the dress, it was again wrong! STUPID MORONS. It’s november 15 and I still don`t have any solution or my money back.

Do not buy from this company!!! I ordered what I thought was an atomic clock. It was not an atomic clock (it had to be manually set). It “talks” in Chinese, however I do not understand Chinese nor did I want a talking clock. I paid extra so it could be returned but it does not look like they are going to take it back. I have been live chatting with them for the last hour. It takes them at least 10 minutes to respond and then they claim the order number is invalid. What a bunch of incompetent crooks.

I am a fountain pen collector. I purchased a fountain pen from them. The pen came in a good solid box. The top of the pen was shattered and broken. The whole assembly is quite miserable. DInoDirect is a fraud. I received my Digital Video recorder and the flash does not work. I contacted Dino and they want me to show to them that the flash does not work. How am I suppose to do that I asked. They responded that I can send the merchandise back to them but I need to pay the shipping fee. The shipping fee back to CHINA is more then the item. There policy says they pay the shipping if the item is defective. They said NO. This is a scam place. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM….

Ordered an item and it arrived two weeks later damaged due to poor packaging. The only way to contact them is via chat and the response times are so slow as to be nonexistent. Wish I had seen these posts before. Just a huge amount of frustration dealing with these guys. There are way better options out there.
ok.. I have been getting mixed messages about the service so i decided to try it myself. I have placed an order today.. so far I am not too happy with the whole process as I tried asking the support chat person about the product reviews and they ADMITTED that they write their own reviews.. I have also try to do the Chat online but that stupi thing is asking for a order that I don`t have because, I have NOT receive a confirmation email. I am not impressed.
Go to the website and log into your account at the top right corner of the screen. Then, on the menu to the left, click on “My Order”, and after that, underneath, click on “Order History”. You should see you order with am order number next to it.
I have ordered stuff from them e.g. adapters, a watch, timer, Bluetooth dongle etc. I have not yet had a bad experience. I however recall them not having an item in stock that I ordered but they promptly gave me a refund. Their customer service has been good and their very cheep. Sometimes the quality of their items are a bit compromised while others it’s great. It’s a bit hit and miss. But for the prices they offer and free shipping on most items I’m not complaining!!!
I don’t know if the Dinos are scammers, or just incompetent and doing a high volume of business. I’ve placed 3 small orders and had problems each time. First was a mini camera DOA. The did finally replace it. Second was a missing item in a multiple order, which they got to me after PayPal was alerted. Third was an LED bulb that was DOA in box with the “inspected” label torn and taped over. This was probably a directive return that got send out again. This last time I went straight to Paypal, which seems to get their attention. Unlikely that I will try them again, even with the catalogs nd Valentine card (!) they sent me.

One friend recommend me DinoDirect so I’ve bought a Tablet/Ebook. The product was good, the only problem was that I had to upload the android version (BAD DESCRIPTION). That was easy and I was still happy, so I created a video and wrote a product review.
Second purchase. A Laptop/Notebook. The shipping had some problems but arrived. The real problem was that the web description is wrong and the Laptop only have the potency half that they promise so it is slow. I tried to contact with DinoDirect’s customer service but they asked me for videos, photos and they put a lot of problems for 3 weeks. Finally they offer me a 30$ coupon but not compensate the problems. In addition the memory ram of the laptop stopped working, so I think that I will never bought again anything expensive in this shop.
Conclusion: Even if you are a very good customer for the shop they will treat you badly. In addition, with the bad descriptions you will have problems so never buy anything expensive because they will cheat you.

same problem here, the dress i order was ugly, trying to refund from November 2011,still they asking me for check from post office, and they saying that the still didn’t get the dress.Other person Dinoscam told me that they got the dress but not receipt so i scan and send them by email. After all this they still telling me that they never get the dress back and they will contact me.
Don’t seem to have anything in stock (even though the website and customer service indicate otherwise). Customer Service is confusing and hard to deal with after the purchase is made with no accurate or consistent information about the order. After a month of my items not being shipped, I cancelled the order but a refund is not forthcoming. I think they are just making money by taking orders that they do not intend to fill in the first place. I hope my credit card company will help me recoup my losses.

I too have been scammed by Dinodirect.. and I as I read, I discovered that everyone has experienced a similar problem with being asked to return an item.. but they want you to pay some massive inflatede shipping cost before you receive a replacement. The item I purchased had such poor quality and it failed to work after 2 months. PayPal wouldn’t help because I was out the 45 days set down by them to make a complaint in. Four times they asked me to choose another item because the one I had chosen was out of stock and would not be relisted ever again. Fortunately, they have refunded me the original item cost but I lost the original high shipping cost. I think most readers should read about why Chinese companies are able to scam you and get away with it. You can not take any legal action against a Chinese company and NO ONE IN CHINA will listen to you..EVER. I tried to get the Chinese Consolate Perth, Western Australia to listen to my complaint and never received an answer.. however, I had to do virus scan and a restore after the two times I visited their website.. My computer seemed to play up badly and I wouldn’t recommend anyone visit their website. I do however, recommend that you visit this website for an explanation as to why Chinese companies IGNORE YOU so blatantly.. I too have been through the DD scam, I oderderd an acho tablet 8inch only to find it did not come with a charging cable which makes it unusable, also found that acho tablets have no online support.. After 1 month of BS emails, I took the case to Paypal which ruled in my favour for a full refund the cost to send it back to china was $35 Aus. Hi, Just wanted to let you know that I am also another victim. Ordered something (76328982-DD), waited 6 months and eventually the item never arrived and complained and they gave me a credit. Order the same stuff again, 6 months late order didn’t arrive, now they say they aren’t going to give me anything because I took too long to report it. What a scam, how they can get a way with taking your money and giving you nothing for it is beyond me. I would advise everyone to stay away.
I thought I should put in my 2 cents as well. I put in an order for a nice looking duffle coat that i found for nearly 1/3 the price of a regular one. I put my info and and the item was authorized and…that’s where it stayed. 4 days after I put in the order, I inured where my item was and why it was taking so long to ship out. They got back to me a day later and said that items normally take 3-5 days to process. Reasonable. However, a week after that, I checked to see that my item still has not shipped. At this point, I already received a coat from a friend and no longer needed it. So I asked customer service via the 24/7 instant chat and was connected to a woman named, “Sharon”. I read many reviews that Sharon is rude and disconnects constantly, but I guess i was one of the lucky ones that had a stable connection. I asked to have my money simply refunded because I already had a coat and that the item has not left the warehouse. She insisted that the package was in the final stages of processing and that they can ship it out very soon. The reason being why it was taking so long was that they had holidays during that time. (October 1st is their National Day in China) After a little back and forth, she gave in my request
and promised me my refund within seven days (I received it in 5 days). Overall, I was okay with the customer service, the time that it takes to get the item however is REALLY long. I may come back to DinoDirect in the future, but this time will be testing them with small items. At the moment, I’m just gonna do all my shopping at retail stores. The company is nothing else tan a fraud. Based on what I’ve experienced and read, it appears that they do not have most of the items and they use other sellers to drop ship. That alone is not the biggest issue if it actually worked. I ordered an item that supposed to be shipped within 2-3 days based on their policies. A month later, the item wasn’t even shipped yet. I contacted them via their “live chat” and I was told to give them one more day or they will refund my purchase ($42.99). As I expected, nothing happened. Week later, I contacted them again; same thing, a “live chat.” When I asked where is my item, she responded within 5 seconds with pathetic apology stating the item was already packaged but the quality control (which they do not have) rejected it. It was almost funny because it was obvious she just pasted the response t the chat window as it was impossible to type such extensive reply in 5 seconds. Essentially, I got the same BS response as everyone else. Lastly, she stated that if it is not shipped within 3 days, they will refund my money. That was 2 weeks ago and of course, I don’t have either, the money or the item. The site is a fraud and needs to be prohibited from doing business in the US. They take your payment and use it for several weeks as a interest free loan … imagine there are thousands of people having the same issue. These crooks are keeping probably hundreds of thousands in their accounts before taking any action on your purchase … “a nice way” to get a free loan. PayPal needs to close their account; they have done it to other companies, so, I am not sure why they still do business with them after receiving thousands of complaints. That being said whatever you do, DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, it is a FRAUD.
