Homeless In New York. Get a load of this: The wood rats of Green leaf Forest,were up early that morning. They were very busy, helping Moe Pack,for his big trip to New York City.Since Moe was the president of the Jazz Ewalker Boutique,he had to attend a very important meeting,that was held in new York City.Moe was very excited about going to New York City,especially if it meant that he would see his special site in the world,which was the Stature Of Liberty. Finally it was time for Moe to go the airport.In just a few minutes, Noe was on the plane,and on his way to New York.He landed safely in about three hours. Moe got of the plan,and went to find a cab.Shortly he was safely in his motel room.
After awhile Moe decided to put on some comfortable cioths and go for an afternoon jog.To Moe’s surprise,he was not the only one on the jogging trail.as a matter of fact,Moe met two nice guys,as so he thought,They introduced themselves as Happy Jack the laughing jack rabbit,and Francis the frog. Are you new hear asked Francis the frog?yes I am answered Moe I’m just up here for a corporate meeting,replied Moe. How would you like to come party at my house?asked the laughing jack rabbit. Like i told you all,I have a meeting early in the morning,and I need to get my rest replied, Moe.Moe said goodbye to his new friends,and return to his hotel room.When Moe got to his room he went straight to bed.Soon he felt restless,the idea of a party didn’t seem to bad.So in a matter of minutes,Moe was all dressed and ready for the party.
When Moe arrived at the party,he was met by one of his new friends.Come on in said the laughing Jack rabbit,who was so tickle he couldn’t hardly talk.what’s so funny asked Moe? By that time Francis the frog showed up,and told him to come in,and never mind jack rabbit.Lot’s of animals were at the party;there was hardly any room to move around.I’ll take your coat said Francis the frog,and what a terrible thing that turned out to be.Time went by so fast.It was after midnight when Moe looked at the clock.Moe hurried and got his coat and headed for the door.When Francis the frog glimpse Moe,she asked him why was he leaving so soon?You’re not going to turn into a punkin are you?When the laughing jack rabbit heard that, he was busting at the seams with laughter.Will you shut up/screamed Frabcis the frog.but it looked as though the Laughing jack rabbit just could’t quit laughing.When Moe got back to the hotel,he realized that he had misplaced his car.
Moe looked everywhere for his key,but the key was nowhere to be found.Moe went up to the desk and asked for another key.Then Moe went into his room and went to bed.He needed to be ready for his meeting the next day.He had not realized he had been robbed.It was a set up by,by none other than Francis frog. The next day when Moe was done getting himself ready for the meeting,he went downstairs to the restaurant,to get some breakfast.It was when Moe finished eating,that he missed his wallet.I been Robbed! yelled Moe.And everyone in the restaurant started to look around.Sure you have replied the owner if the restaurant.If you don’t pay me for that breakfast,I’m going to have you thrown in jail,warned the restaurant owner.I told you,I been robbed! Screamed Moe.The restaurant owner called the cops on Moe.Moe was carted off to jail,where he stayed three days.When Moe got out of jail,of course the meeting was over.Moe had lost his room at the hotel,and all his personal belongings were gone.
What was Moe to do?Moe had no money no I.D. All stole from him by Francis the frog.When Moe tried to explain to the people,no one would listen.As a matter of fact they thought Moe to be just another homeless person.The only thing that Moe had left was his JazzyWalkers with the the three buttoms on the side.Moe wondered around the streets of New York,not knowing where he was going. The worst thing now is Moe is homless in New York. One night it was raining,and moe was looking for a place to sleep.Just as he was about to give up,he spotted a home,out of the rain in NEW BROWN PAPERBOARD BOX.gOTCHI!YOU KIA.
There Moe curled up and went to sleep.As soon as he felt asleep,he felt someone poking him in the side.When he looked up,there was this nasty brown rat standing over him.Hey Buster!!!that’s my box,and I want you out of it right now!You got it!shouted Festus the rat.My name is Moe and i don’t have any place to go.
I’m sorry I’m in your box,but I didn’t know what else to do,said Moe. That’s no excuse,said Festus the rat.Most people in this city don’t have any place to go.Please don’t put me out in the cold said Moe.Well alright, But under one condition replied Festus,and what condition is that?asked Moe.At 5:00 in the morning,I go out for coffee and donuts,said Festus the rat.That sounds good,what restaurant do we go to?Asked Moe.Who said anything about restaurant?asked Festus.Remember you are homless now,and we have to beat that alley cat,that calls herself Alice.By the time she’s finished,the only thing that would be left of the donuts would be the paper they landed on,when they fell in the trash.Huh!that’s bad ? said Moe.Now you’re getting the picture,replied Festus.Moe and Festus was up and in the trash can about time Alice the alley cat arrived.Moe and Festus were done eating the donuts,and now they were licking their fingers.after Festus and Moe quit licking their fingers,Festus went to the junkyard,and found Moe a shopping cart.When Festus looked at Moes cart,he soon discovered that Moe’s cart was almost brand new.so Festus said to Moe,you give me that cart,that cart is to nice for you,here you take the rusty one.After the cart-swapping,Moe realized,he is a certified Bag Man.
Festus noticed Moe’s shoes,and how nice they were.we could get a pretty penny for those shoes you’re wearing said Festus.O!no not the shoes!!!!!!!!!yelled Moe.Well you don’t have to scream said Festus.Festus and Moe walked from sun up to sun down collecting junk,which turned out to be very valuable to them.A month had passed,and the wood rats Enie Menie and Miney had looked for Moe everywhere,but they couldn’t find him.They even had his picture on the T.V.show America Most Missed.As no word came concerning Moe,the other wood rats Enie,Menie,and Miney went to New York,to look for Moe on their own.
it was getting harder and harder for Festus andMoe to find food,so Moe agreed to pawn his shoes for food.The owner agreed to give Moe twenty dollars for his shoes.The food lasted awhile and then it was gone.Now What!shouted Moe.We continue to look for food said Festus.
The other wood rats arrived in New York.They were walking down the street when they spotted a pawn shop.They looked in the window,and saw some shoes that looked like Moe’s.You know what!Guys said Enie,I bet you a dollar those are Mo’s shoes in the window.I believe you are right replied the other woo rats.Next the wood rats flashed pictures of Moe around New York with no sucess.Then the wood rats decided to go to the studio of America Most Missing,and have the producer run Moe’s picture on T.V.with a hamsome of $5000.00 reward attached to it.The producer agreed to do i,for a hamsome fee of course.Soon as the show finished Festus got a Knock on his Paper Board box.It was Alice the cat.What do you want Festus?asked Festus.You know that guy you been hanging around with,It’s a big fat reward,out on him said Alice.Shhhh…replied Festus.He might hear you,he’s inside.Is there a number we can call?
There sure is repled Alice.Festus went to the nearest pay phone,and made a call.Festus told the people down at the studio of America Most Missing,that they had the guy they were lokking for.And meet them on the corner of broad and Marks.In less than an hour,the studio,the news people,and of course Enie,Menie,and Miney were there.Where is he?asked the wood rats.There he his sleeping in my box,replied Festus.Festus and Alice received the award money and devided it up equally.The next day Alice and Festus rented rooms in the Rat Hotel They were able to find good jobs,working at the donut shop,cooking donuts. New york!Is where I want to be said Festus,me to replied Alice,Festus wife to be.Festus and Alice lived very happy,and never was any member of their family ever hungry again.They were outstanding citizens,and festus ran for Mayor.The wood rats were safely back in the green leaf Forests,listening to Moe tell tales.
Moe said to the other wood rats I’ve had a lot of things happen in my life,but nothing as graphic as this.I never thought nothing like this,could ever happen to me.Homeless is one thing,but being Homeless In New York,that’s a entirely differant matter.
