I called Sears to schedule the cleaning of two wall air conditioning units and was quoted a price of 98 and 68. An hour before the cleaning the technician called up and said the charge is 98 to come out and an addition 289 per unit. He said I needed to call and authorize the charge. I spent an hour on the phone and was transferred 7 times and spoke to 8 different people without any resolution. I first called 1-877-587-2143, then was transferred to 1-800-469-4663, they verified the quote but then I was transferred to an internal number. I was told they were routing and then transferred to 888-236-1885, then transferred to a woman who was helpful and transferred me to 1-800-506-3659, the representative didn’t help.
I asked to speak to the supervisor, finally spoke with the supervisor Derick and would not honor the original quote. I told him I would never use Sears home improvement if this is how they treat their customers.
