I had receive the following sms on my Nokia phone: “You’re Cell No. Won R250.000.00 in Nokia Yearly promo. Ticket No. 0166P. Call 078 703 4503 for cash claim.” When are we going to be safe from sms’s like this. It came through at 01:55 am in the morning and it is not funny at all due to the fact that I had had my share in morning calls with reference to a car accident my child died in on 25 Dec 2007. And this is not all, we are registered with RICA and how safe is our numbers with them?
had enough – please do something about this, design some tracking system where these people could be tracked down and sentenced to some cellphone prison where they must listen to very bad ring tones and sms sounds for at least 5 years in a row, then maybe they will stop sending sms like this to innoccent people!
