As a T-Mobile customer of 8 years I bought a pre-paid phone from tmobile.com. I received the phone and then I switched from post-paid to pre-paid. After a couple of days I found out the phone is defective; now the funny thing is that whenever I call t-mobile they tell me that the order number I have is not of t-mobile and that I did not buy the phone from them at all! Even though I have emails from “T-mobile USA” with their logo including order number and shipping number; t-mobile reps say none of these numbers could be found in their system, not even phone’s IMEI or even my SIN!! Basically this seems to be a NEW SCAM when they sell defective stuff and then they deny selling it to you all together. When I suggest the reps that I could email them the emails I have, they flatly say they do not have capability to receive emails! While I think it is impossible to those reps not to be able to find any trace of the phone in there system, it really seems to be very low of t-mobile trying to steal few bucks like this. Shame to you t-mobile for acting like this!!
Yes, I bought a pre paid T Mobile and had the phone for eight months before it just went blank. Never dropped it or anything. I went to the T Mobile store in Hagerstown MD and they said ” Yep, this phone is no good. You can buy another for 79.00. Yea right I said. It was a plain Jane phone you can buy for ten bucks at the Dollar General so why not just give me a new phone? Needless to say they became very rude. I just left and bought a new phone–Net 10 and have better service. Goodbye T Mobile and my whole family changed over to N 10 as well.
I have two negative experiences with Tmobile. First time was when I first bought a Tmobile a prepaid starter kit, after activating it and using it for a month or two, the phone completely stop it working. Forcing me to replace the defective phone. Another time was purchasing a Tmobile prepaid card worth $25 cash in local walgreen’s that apparently printed out a receipt with no activation pass code on it. I came back to walgreens store to tell them about the problem, they said “they were not liable for errors with Tmobile prepaid service cards. So instead one nice women that was manager in the store tried to contact the Tmobile consumer service, long story short the matter was not resolved neither party wanted to give me my money or offer replace the card with another. I hope Tmobile had enjoyed my hard earned money, what a waste of time and money!!!!!!!!!!!!!
T-Mobile the the worst in terms of customer service and products; the reps SIMPLY lie to you! Do not believe anything they tell you!
I signed up for Tmobile cellular service and I noticed that they have been charging me for insurance on the phone and other things without my permission. I never signed up for it!!!…I call with three supervisors on Sept 6 (id#1049967, ID # 3178198 and finally another supervisor by the name of Liona and none of them wanted to give me refund of all those charges. I will file a small claims court and try to recoup this money from them…Any suggestion . I am in Denver-Colorado.
