I just got a call from Payid Honeywell who claims to be with Winner’s Circle. He said I filled out an entry in October and he called to tell me that I am a winner of $2million and 800K in cash. All I have to do is go to Walgreens (or Walmart, etc) and get a green dot scratch card for $250 and be ready with the 14 digit number when he returns the call, for which he gave me a password. The truck is ready to bring my money – with a CAMERA crew. I also need two valid forms if id.
I don’t believe him, and I am sure this is a scam, although I cannot find it specifically on the web. Interestingly, I could hear a rooster crow in the background at one point.

I have been receiving phone calls sense Thur. Aug.18.2011 about I am the winner of a 2.5million dollers from spending over $10.00 at Wal-Mart more then once. They said once you spend over $10.00 your name goes in to a drawing. Well my number was picked so I am going to receive $2.5million, but I need to send them $800.00 which I tell them I don’t have. They incesesst I have in the bank. I told them that I don’t even make that on my pay check so I can’t send them that. Long story short I have them down to $300.00. Today I tell them that I can’t come up with that money because my daughter has to pay for senior pictures so I don’t have any money now at all. James says he will call me later about this matter. These guys do not take NO FOR AN ANCERSE . Ms. Patricia Owens widow of Samuel Owens.
I have a similar call thing going on now.You are right on track. They will not take on for a answer. I have just do not answer phone. I make up an excuse, and tell them I well call back but never do. I am trying to make a game of it.
Received a call today from the above number in Vegas, a “Samuel White” contacted me, stating I won $2.5 million and a car, something to do with paying my utility bills on time, of course that’s suspicious as I am in Canada, and he is supposedly in Vegas, how would he know about my bills, etc., anyway he went on to say i could send him $200 now and $200 after I get my millions, in order for me to claim the winnings, but, i have to send via Western Union to a fellow in Montego Bay…as if….he also stated all the money is being stored in an “offshore” bank. What a scam, however, i let the person speak and pretend like I am interested, but then i never call them back, of course I am not sending them money. I wish it was true as I could use the millions right now, who couldn’t use it, but alas it is another scam. This is like my 5th call, previous calls were from Utah, Jamaica, and New York.
did he sound middle eastern and was the fellows name is bryan harrison or peter parkision
I just got off the phone with a person calling herself Lisa Brown representing Winners Circle Lottery that she said is actually connected with the New York State Lottery. Lisa informed me of the 5 million dollars that I had just won. The trucks were on the way with the money but for tax and security reasons she needed me to go to Walgreens and buy a Green Dot Card for 200.00. Once I provided her with the 14 digit number off the card, she would send an email confirming my winnings. She also provided me phone numbers so I could call and verify her company with a guy named John Myers, another indivdual involved in the scam. Please be ware, this woman promised to god and on the lives of her 5 children that is was legit. No shame what so ever.
a keven anderson called me wants me to purchase green dot card for 200.00.told him to email me details.says i won 250000.00.told him take 200.00 fee out,and send me money order.green dot cards are on ripoffreport.com they are used for money laundering.check out their website.www.ripoffreport.com(greendot cards. the email was picture of 3 older gentleman holding money.picture was edited through photoshop.

I too just received a call from a man with a heavy Spanish accent from “Winner’s Circle” in Vegas. He proceeded to congratulate me on winning $75 million. The company was going to cover 99% of the taxes and fees. All I needed to do was pay 1%, or $1250, in the form of a money order/cashier’s check.
I just got the same call from Winners Circle. I didn’t answer the phone but the message was left by someone with a Middle Eastern Accent saying to call him back right away about the certified check I had won. The number was area code 410.
I have been receiving phone calls from 876.599.7951 and 876.889.9214 (caller ID said Kingston) they claimed to be in Las Vegas, supposedly to be Winners Circle claiming I won 2.5 mil. and my choice of Mercedes or Cadillac all I had to do to get the prize was to purchase 2 green dot cards at $430 each ( sadly I did this ! ) then when I did not get my winnings they wanted an additional purchase of 2 more green dot cards @ $500 each for what they claimed was to process the paperwork, which I have told them NO ! Yet they keep calling !! Funny thing…..the last call I did hear a rooster in the background ! I wish there were some way to get my money back but all I have been able to do is block their numbers.
Same here. Guy had an Indian accent and said he is from Canada. His call back number was from Florida, because that’s where the office is. I was drilling him for almost an hour, saying we don’t have a Wallmart here and that I don’t pay my bills, fill any form, so he couldn’t get information about me. He repeated himself a lot, saying over and over “I must say to you ….” so I told him, they don’t talk like this in Canada.
At the end he ran out of things to say and hung up.
I wonder how many people fall for this.
winners circle LG club and awards, but yesterday they were publishers clearing house, or at least claimed they were. I won 3.5 million dollars and a mercedes! Yeah right! But first I had to go to walmart and purchase a green dot pay bill card for $599. 00 and then call them with the four numbers on it to verify I’m who I am. Huh! Last one that called was Bruce Maxwell, with his accent, he would never have that name! tel numbers: 876-865-6102 360-635-2327 718-841-7866 917-268-9953 630-489-9953 notice same last four numbers scam scam scam!
Oh, winners circles gave address of 1331 Pennsylvania ave NW, washington DC which is actually just a restaurant! also had many different names; winners circle awards, winners circle LG club and awards and winners circle LG club. and stated all of these are confidential as there are so many scams so you wont find it. Ha Ha Scam!
I received 3 missed call tonight around 1o:30, so I recalled the number (876.825.9955) which John Miller Gen. Manager of Publish Clearing House was calling to let me know I was the 2nd prize winner of 10.5mill plus a new 2o12 car.
As he went on he also stated I need to go to CVS and get a green dot card as well for 150.00 and they will call me to verify the infomation and then my money and car will be on the way!!
To bad I was a teller at a bank and saw so many people getting scammed and I was not about to let that happen to me. I wonder why would I have to give money to win money, you called me. Then the fact that I wasn’t suppose to tell anyone what I was doing,
Please don’t get got by these people, times are hard and I for one can’t be giving my money to some one who scams people.
