This morning we received a call from FRANK MILLER who told us we had won a 2011 Mercedes Benz which would be delivered to us today along with a cashier’s check (no amount given). All we had to do was go to CVS and purchase a Green Dot re-loadable money card and call him back at 1-876-572-5524. I milked him for as much info as I could get, told him okay and I would call him within 2 hours. After approx. 45 minutes he called back and said he needed to verify the timing of the purchase of the Green Dot card and our return home.
He insisted that we go do it ASAP and to call him when we were outside CVS with the card in hand. He further said that his “manager” would be very upset if we were not home to receive delivery of the car and cashier’s check. He further stated that this giveaway was being sponsered by BILL GATES, OPRAH WINFREY AND DONALD TRUMP! And, they were paying 99% of the taxes due, and that the $250 was to pay for the “government stamp of approval”!
I let the time go by while checking all this out on the internet. This website was the very first one I connected with, and that was all I needed! When FRANK MILLER called back, I simply said, “Frank, stop calling us.” No more calls…

Funny, I had a call last week from a guy claiming to be Dave Sayers from PCH/Reader’s Digest, saying I’d won $4.5 Million in some random computer drawing. His voice sounded like it was coming through a distortion device, or like it was mechanically generated. He wanted me to go get some kind of “Green Cards”, two of them, for $1000 to pay for “insurance” or some nonsense. I told him to forget about it. Now, right this minute, I have someone ELSE calling me, for the umpteenth time in two days, saying they’re from this Winners International deal, claiming basically the same thing. Only they want me to send them $70 for shipping and handling fees regarding delivery of this brand new Mercedes, and to take possession of a check for about $9 Million or so. The kicker to this, I’m sure, is they’ll have some phony IRS agent on hand expecting me to fork over several thousand as a “down payment” on taxes owed or something. Which of course is totally bogus. Here’s a couple of the numbers coming through — they want me to send money to a Patrick James in Kingston Jamaica: 876-505-0427 . . . 876-297-0814 . . . 876-860-8451. Sometimes it comes in as UNKNOWN or PRIVATE NUMBER. But if you see any of THESE numbers come up — just let it ring! UPDATE: The girl who keeps calling just told me she’s gonna get fired if she doesn’t complete this deal, her boss is really upset with her, and blah-blah-blah, just like the guy up top — same story, almost to a T, except different names and so-called “sponsors”. I told her don’t call me back. Can you BELIEVE these people??? Steer clear of this nonsense, dear friends! If it were legit, and not subject to prosecution for Mail Fraud, they’d contact you via USPS with proper documentation, not over the cell phone network where it would take someone like the FBI to track them down!
I just got the same call today from ‘Ms Jackie Monroe of the IRS’ (non English accent) saying that I had won 12.5 mill in the Winner’s International contest. Same deal with ‘fees’ that needed to be paid. Why don’t these people give up when you tell them to leave you alone?
