David Brooks called with a very heavy accent and informed me that I had won $150,000. He stated that in order for me to receive the delivery by UPS, I should go to Walmart and purchase a money order for $175.00. I should then call him back at 1-876-310-1326 and give him the numbers on the money order. I played along with him and told him that I had gone and purchased the money order. He called later and asked for the numbers and said that UPS would be at my address at 5:00. I told him that I did not feel comfortable giving out the numbers.
He then told me that he needed those numbers so that they would match up with the numbers the UPS delivery would have. SERIOUSLY??? Well, at least this scam was good for a hardy laugh. Do they really think that people are that crazy????
