It is located on Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles and is known as the Helios House gas station. Because of its environmentally friendly design and unique characteristics, refer to it as the "future station." It is the first gas station in the world to be submitted for LEED certification, making it a first in the world. It was designed by Office dA in Boston and Johnston Marklee Architects in Los Angeles, serving as the project manager. The architects were contracted by the advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather, managed by Brian Collins. Ann Hand was the project manager in charge of this project, and the goal of the design was to reimagine gas stations completely.
