I have a problem with my student loan and tried to call AES support to dispute it. They simply passed me off to a credit dispute PO box. When I asked for their contact information they directed me back to the website to download a form to mail in.

Great, when I tried to find their corporate address to escalate this to management, that website page was broken. Guess what else? All the contact pages were broken too. I am sure they get so many complaints they had to "pull these down for maintenance".

I do not think students should take out loans for the their college education. Not from American Education Services, not from anywhere.

I have been helping my daughter pay off her education loan and AES made it easy for us. The documentation was done in a right manner, people out there understand your queries and help to the best possible. We wanted to clear it off with the bulk amount and AES customer service gave the details on the foreclosure of the loan. They helped us to a great deal and got us the no due certificate after clearance. Professional people and they actually know how to deal with their clients. Do not see what the complaints are about!
