I signed up for an account online at Scottrade but then found out that I had to go in to a location to deposit a check. Then if I wanted money out I had to call somebody on the phone. It really made the entire process of trading a little more stressful because I want a 100% online experience. I don't like talking to people if I don't have to because they just slow me down. The people were helpful but not needed. I like the tool, dig the helpful information, but that just bothered me. I quickly withdrew my money and will think twice before trading their again.
I signed up to Scottrade a little while ago and the website would not let me submit tickets for credit. The system generated a umber of: 05YKIE4 under login cjlowman. I then tried to submit and it would not allow me to do so. Later I traveled to Killeen, TX and again I was unable to submit my trades under that account. I tried to create a new account and it told me one already existed. Now, I try to look it up and nothing will let my access any account.
I am very frustrated with scottrade customer service. Getting an account seems to be so easy, but then you are hit with so much red tape, problems, and fee's to trade. I cannot believe I signed up for this stupid service anyways. If it was up to me, I would not have used this company. Instead, find a fund to sink your money into. Scottrade is a joke.
