Browse more than 7 reviews submitted so farI recently bought a CorningWare Big Baker at my local Stop and Shop in Holbrook, NY. I states on the back Microwave (which I never did) and oven safe. It was not used on the stovetop or on the broiler. I absolutely love the item. Unfortunately, when using it today, November 27, 2018. when washing it we noticed it had a crack from the inside to the outside. Now we are afraid to use it again because of the crack. It was never abused or banged against anything. Can you possibly tell me how it cracked? The crack is on one of the rounded corners and goes down about a quarter at an angle. Anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated. I will send it to you if you want to see it. Thank you

On Feb 13 2018 between 10:00 - 10:30 AM I and my friend visited your store located at Potomac Mall located in Woodbridge VA. We went into the store based on an advertisement price of one of your 6 piece Pyrex set at $9.99. We went into the store and asked an associate to help us, since we wanted to purchase 7 boxes at that price. The associate told us that the advertised price listed above the product was not correct, she said it should be $12.99. We explained that they should honor the price that was advertised. She told us to wait and went to the office where another women came out and said we would have to pay the higher price. We asked why she would not honor the price, and she became upset and started yelling at us and told us to leave. She told us we could only buy one at the reduced price and continued to yell at us. She then called security and told them we were yelling at her. The security individual told us to leave the store and threatened to call the police. All through this other customers saw how we were being treated and left the store. The security guard sided with the associate. My friend and I went to the Mall managers office and were shunted aside and told we would have to wait for 30 minutes. They never helped us. Your associate did not have a name tag and would not tell us her name. We were polite to her, but she continued to yell at us and treated us badly. Both my friend and I are Asian and felt that your employee singled us out for some unknown reason and turned very mean on us. We only tried to purchase the items for our church and as a result of this our whole church knows what happen and how we were treated.
I ask for your help and am seeking an apology. This type of behavior cannot go on. Your employees should know how to treat customers no matter how they look or the color of their skin. Both I and my friend were upset all day and continue to reflect on the treatment your employee leveled upon us.
I don't know if I have a compliant, rather comment or information request. I have a lot of Corning Ware and use it. Have never had a complaint. Recently I used a piece of Corning Ware; placed it in plastic dishpan full of soapy water. When I reached into pan to take the dish out. It came apart in my hand (two pieces). No. I did not hit the dish with anything; did not drop anything in the pan, etc. The only thing I would add is that the outside temperature was extremely cold that day - !ESS than 10 degrees. I have never had a Corning Ware dish break and was under the impression they would not break. Your comment?
I have 2 CorningWare dishes--- F-5-B 1.6 liter dish and a Frenchvwhite 2 1/2 qt. dish. Both units have glass tops. For me, these glass have shown to be extremely dangerous. dI use both these units quite frequently in the microwave. The serious problem with both units is that the glass tops do not fit properly. The result I've had 3 glass tops fly off and crash against the wall Or simply fall on the floor and splinter into 10000 pieces. I've gotten cut a couple times. To use these items you need to FIRMLY hold a the tops on while moving from your food prep area to either the microwave or oven, otherwise we are in danger of loosing both the dish top. AND the food inside. Simply put, I am now afraid to use CorningWare products now and wanted to share this complaint.
I have used CorningWare sets for 2 years and find the design very neat and stylish. Very pretty and sturdy for cooking. It evenly distributes heat and food is cooked well. The color is nice and we use all the pieces. I used them all for thanksgiving dinner. The large pan was big enough to nicely fit my big turkey. Perfect sizes, trusted Corning ware name, what more could one ask for. Great product, great price and very satisfied.
