Dear Sir, I bought one Black Berry from Hot Spot Sarita Vihar 15 days back and found a problem in battery back up and send my phone to service centre at B-32,Lajpat Nagar, Part-11, New Delhi and my person was involved whole day and after checking they accepted the fault in battery and further said the battery is out of stock and it will take another 7-10 days. My query if i bought world fame brand and got this type of service from the centre its rediculus and not accepted at all,coz a person can not survive without the mobile in today’s age and cant wait a long as mentioned above. Will any body give me response to make a call or should i take another action about this issue to highlight / escalate the matter.

We bought our daughter a blackberry curve last October. Since then we have had three more phones as O2 have sent them off to be fixed, from which they have just replaced them As they are not fixable. However tonight AGAIN the phone will not charge (we are also on a SECOND charger as the first broke!). I cannot express how angry and annoyed I am. Not only Is it a CONTINUES struggle to keep getting it fixed but is also a HUGE inconvenience to repeatedly sending them off. It is also worrying when your teenage daughter is without a phone for weeks at a time whilst the handsets are sent off.
I think this phone is the BIGGEST WASTE of money I have ever spent & I would expect some sort of compensation from blackberry. I have proof of ALL the hansets we’ve received due to these CRAP phones.

I have a blackberry 8520 on contract. It is currently on it 22 nd month, I have sent it in for repairs as the phone freezes sometimes, the track key is faulty, the phone takes long to reboot and also the camera button located on the rhs of the handset has come off. Phone was booked in on the 6th Aug 2011. After numerous attempts to try and find out when the phone will be ready, I was told today by the repair department that I should pay approx R650 for the repair on the camera key. I spoke to the supervisor, who claimed that the phones button was physically damaged. So I explained that the phone had taken >3000 pics.
So she says that I had pressed the button too hard, I asked what the spec for force on the button was, she does not know. Then I asked her if she there was any endurance test conducted on the BB which states how many times the button can be pressed she says NO. So I asked if she could prove that the phone is intentionally damaged, she says No, I ask is the phone still under warranty = yes…So why must I fork out R650, the technician says so.Waited for 15 minutes to speak to s supervisor for what? Should Vodacom not provide better customer satisfaction?

My name is Puneet working with the Royal Bank of Scotland. I recently took the Blackberry set from M/s Shree Shubham Communication in Panipat. The invoice no is 1621 dated 27/07/2011. The Model No is Blackberry 8520 (imie 357559049644077). A week back there was small blue line in the screen. I went to the shop from whom I purchased the set. He directed me to the blackberry shop in Panipat. They looked at it and again directed me to the Service centre in Karnal. Karnal is 35 Km away from Panipat. Yesterday I went to Karnal to New Mass Communication. The expierience was pathetic there.
Immediately on seeing the set the executive said they will be charging Rs 200 and the captioned handset will be sent to the company office in Gurgaon for a weak time. And afterwards you need to pay for the display screen. He told us that under such scenarios Company considers the set as damaged and the warranty gets void. I had been using the blackberry since last 3 years but I neverfaced any problem. The executives in Lucknow were very courteous. I am really shocked that such a traetment if being given to Corporate customers where your handsets are being used. Expecting a prompt resolution for your esteemed organization.

I’m not sure whether this is your problem and whether or not you can find a solution for it. When I’m in Pretoria I have absolutely no problem with the blackberry service. It is always on, but when I go back to Potchefstroom, I have no service except on weekends when most of the students have left and extremely early in the mornings. The blackberry “people” obviously didn’t do their homework when comes to Potch, because it is a student town and every student has a cellphone and every second student has a blackberry. Will you please provide more service in Pocth, because just owning a cellphone in that area is useless!! Owning a blackberry is even worse! If you can help with a solution, please, please do!

I was sent an application from Blackberry to download the new version of their messenger system. I now can’t find the application anywhere on my phone although it keeps telling me the download was successful and the App is already on my phone when i have tried to download again. As i am a business user i find it unbelievable that i have to search online for hours at a time to solve this problem. Any forums i have looked at have all given the same advise go into applications and delete then restart the phone and download again. I cannot delete the App from my phone as i cannot find it!
I have now lost my blackberry messenger service with all my contacts on trying to add people again through their pin it is advising them the status for me is pending so there is something seriously wrong with the downlading process. I would gladly go back to BBM 5.0 i had absolutely no problems with it. I would also like to point out that i have searched repeatedly for an email address contact number for Blackberry complaints but to no avail.
All of the forums have endless screeds of information on the phones but no contact details to actually speak to or email someone for help!

Good morning, I purchased a blackberry curve last year November I have it for 10 months now. And I have been experiencing a load of problems. My Blackberry keypad “R” button was not working it was sent for repair but due to it not being able to be fixed here in Cape Town it was sent to JHB.I was charged a fee of R120.60 due to the back up that had to be done. I got it back last Thursday 04 August 2011. A refurbished phone all was replaced which I was so greatful for I kept thanking the consultants as I was so chuffed. I purchased the R59 and the BIS was not activated the “edge” stayed in lower case from Thursday up untill this very hour.
I went to Century City yesterday to see what the problem was apparently the “device faulty”. Please inform me as to what to do next I cannot keep driving up and down for this as my phone was already sent to JHB. I feel so disappointed as I use my phone fir work purposes therfore I require my email to work. This is utterly ridiculous that I need to pay R59 yet the service hasnt been working for 4 days! Please assist me.

I have a Blackberry bold 9700. To begin my story my phone had an error message 523 with a white Screen. I immediately went into your sight for help and when they told me my phone had to be reprogrammed. I downloaded the program to my computer but only when got half way through because they were working on the sight and I could not download. The next day I went into Charlottetown to the Bell centre at Charlottetown to see if they would download the program. They said They could not because they didn’t have any computers. I returned home and the following day went to another Bell dealer on University Ave and they would not do it also.
They said they would have to send my phone away and would cost up to $200 to fix. They also asked for another $250 for deposit on a loaner phone. I did not agree with this as my phone was only 18 months old and I have taken very good care of it, never been dropped or abused in any way. Finally I found a friend who had the same phone and she fixed me up in 10 min, only for her I still would not have a phone. I was 6 days without the phone and have lost all data on my phone. I feel the service provided was very poor for people who Are not technically inclined. I do like my phone but the service is not what it should be for the price I pay each month.
I just feel you should know about this episode. My husband does have stock in blackberry and I certainly don’t want this to Drop because of service to customers, which to me is very important.

I purchase a blackberry slime phone in Brixton market, I was told that the phone was brand new, when went home and turn it on, I saw a message saying ” not to be sold for engineering testing only”. I went back to the shop and the guy told that how his supplier sold it to him, I was in rage because I knew that Research in Motion “RIM” wouold not sold a phone that their engineer is using for testing. I went to an Orange shop and got one it did not give me that message, blackberry need to clean up their act because this seem as if someone is selling phone which are intended for testing by engineer and selling them on the open market.

I blacklisted my phone on 19th June 2011. I recovered the phone and completed all the documents and faxed to Vodacom on 27th June 2011. I called Vodacom 28th June 2011 and was advised that my phone was still blacklisted and was told to call the next day. I have called Vodacom this afternoon and had to repeat myself to at leaset 5 people at Vodacom I get cut off all the time. The last person I spoke to was Robyn she told me to hold as she was checking something on her side as she could not pick the blackberry phone up on her side. Once again I was cut off. Can someone competent at Vodacom assist me. I am at work and dont have time to repeat the same story to a different consultant each time.

As discussed with you related to the problem of my CDMA BBRY hand set 9630 vide no# 2684357315054 purchased from Anmol watches dt 29th dec- 2011 under bill # AW-23130. As my 9no *nd 0 no key is defective audio out put is not working, as suggested by dealer and through site I went to your authorized service centre @ cyber communications in sec-38 and showed the problem to Mr avtaar singh and other reprentatives but they refused to rectify the problem stating that my phone is not listed under warranty system. So at last before I move for further proceedings on legal part both to blackberry as well as to dealer also.
I think I should communicate my grievances to you for any speedy actions for my high value hand set which is under warranty and no warranty is extended by blackberry centers. Kindly take my mail as my notice and wish for your reply and actions in this regard.

This is to bring to your notice that my blackberry mobile (bold2) got stolen on 20th May 2011 at Marine lines. It was just a 05 mnths old piece and its really very sad to know that there is no kind of support from blackberry received till 21st May11. All the sales outlet says that we don’t have any tracking system and its gone ….. its just a negative feedback received which is creating a lot of stress after paying a huge amount and no service. Have also lodged a compliant at the marine line police station as well as Vodafone. Action taken by Vodafone was too quick and they issued a new sim card, but reply for blackberry the other day also was on negative side .
Have tried calling the customer service and spoke _______-, he states if he blocks the IME number he will not be able to track the mobile. My question here is as a lame customer what is the use of only blocking the IME number and can’t track the same. We understand by blocking the he mobile is it is being tracked. It was just a brand which made me buy this blackberry and today after facing this issue and really have nothing to say. It was just used as an second computer where all the personal details, important things were stored; I would request you to please personally look into it and get back to us with solutions.

BlackBerry has made a huge tactical error in not including a microSD card slot on the Playbook tablet. This was one of the primary differentiators for me when I chose between the iPhone and the Torch. Every BlackBerry I’ve owned included a slot for a memory card, and it is incredibly useful to be able to just pop the card into a USB dongle and plug it directly into whichever PC I happen to be working on, to transfer files. Where RIM used to be a leader with respect to feature-set and ease of use, they now appear to be following the Apple iPad marketing model of tiered devices, with no external memory upgrade options.
There is no good reason to not include an external microSD port on a portable device nowadays. I have a 64GB microSD card that I store EVERYTHING on and move back and forth between my devices. This is nothing more than an attempt to overcharge for storage space. I am sorely disappointed in RIM’s decision, and will not be purchasing a PlayBook until one is available with a microSD slot. If RIM chooses to continue ignoring the protests of loyal customers like me, then I will have to go Android or IOS, although I prefer RimOS.

I got robbed Tuesday the 26th April, they took my contract Blackberry phone. Went to MTN Uitenhage Branch the same day to block the phone & that’s where I took the phone by contract in 2009. They told me they won’t be able to block the phone without the box or paper work & I don’t have anything because its been 2years already I had that phone. What I don’t understand is I had my I’d as proof that I’m the owner & I believe they suppose to have my full information in their system including the IEM number they asking for. Now whoever stole my phone is using my email address to send mails to my friends, tried to change the pass. Please assist to block my phone.

I’m using the problematic storm 2 by blackberry and since the first moth using this device I haven’t been a happy chap. The phone keeps freezing regardless of its software upgrade or replacing it with a new one. I’m on pre paid n wasted my R7000 for this. I cannot even insure this phone for heaven sake. I regret why I went for a blackberry phone instead of another product. I’m very much unsatisfied about this service n learned my lesson the hard way. Thank you blackberry for making a phone that keeps freezing like this.

I realize that this complaint may not be considered by most as the most critical thing in the world. I recently was forced into doing a firmware upgrade to my Blackberry Bold 9700 because it was freezing so bad I had to do a hard reset (battery pull) every other phone call. Ok, what’s the big deal? They seem to back everything up but my Kings II Holdem. That’s the big deal. It took me like 6 months to amass $31M and now I gotta start all over again. Not happy with these problems with my Blackberry Bold. Otherwise, very happy with the new platform. Much quicker.

my blackberry sprint phone (9300 curve ihink) its crazy. my phone is not water damage due to me still having the white strip on my phone and battery still being white and not red. i an take the battery out and reboot the phone it will come on and go to the home screen but after that it doennt respond to any botton i push or anything. very weird and i need answers sooner rather than later about how to fix these problems with this phone. please help me someone with these blackberry problems i dont like that my 9300 model keeps freezing without any other problems. it is annoying to say the least.

i hav purchased my blackberry curve in aug 2010 and now the mik is not working. i have sent the phone to the repair centre but hey kept my phone for 20 days and then dont even revert back to tell me that the phone back from the service centre…they now say the phone is not repairable. if you guys cant repair the blackberry curve phone what am i supose to do. i have purchased this phone for 19000 thousand and now the phone they are saying cant be repaired. and also on top of tht i had to pay the service repair charges for 180 rs. i dont mind paying that but the question is that my phone is not repaired and i had to pay the fee for them showing such pathethic customer service.
they have also damaged my phone and returned it back. what are we as blackberry customers suppose to do. we buy the curve phone cos of the 18mnth original warranty but we dont get any benefit abt the same. i want ths taken further or else will move ths to the consumer forum cause am really unhappy abot the service i have got. this just proves that the rival companies like nokia are better and trust worthy. please have ths checked and contact me on althz_rulz@yahoo.co.in.

I would like to complain about my Blackberry Bold 9700. Due to its poor quality I have been given a disciplinary warning at work and risk losing my job. This is due to the locking button on the handset ceasing to function and resulting in me accidentally calling my boss whilst talking to a friend specifically about how we weren’t getting on well with our bosses. The friend I was speaking to has also had many faults with his Blackberry, currently being on his 3rd Curve 8520 this year. I have had several Blackberry’s also myself which have all had something go wrong with them (icons appearing on screen, crashing issues etc) and this current handset no longer has full camera functionality, has faults with the memory card and still experiences icon faults on the home screen.
I like the concept of Blackberry’s however in practice I am yet to have an experience with one which hasn’t resulted in me being dissapointed on one way or another, and this understandably is the final straw on my behalf with the locking button breaking possibly resulting to me losing my job and also making the duration of my time left working at my current company very awkward (possibly the microphone on the handset works too well that an entire conversation could be heard through my pocket!!!).
Please can you offer some explaination as to how such a large company as yourselves has managed to overlook so many design flaws, and also highly consider some form of compensation on my behalf for firstly the continued faults and secondly the awful situation I now find myself in as a direct fault of your company. If I do not hear from you, I will never purchase another Blackberry and will make it clear to everyone that I come into contact with that your phones are to be avoided at the risk of something similar to this possibly happening to them.

why are you not responding to my complaint i have just made about my 8520 blackberry curve. i have now sent my phone in now 3 times for repair its not what i expected for an expensive phone i told carphonewarehouse i did not want the 8520 back because i need a reliable phone in my line of work. i am far from happy with service no apology no nothing from blackberry you now have my 8520 now for repair. oh and why does it take three weeks to come back if you replace it with new one. sorry but the 8520 curve is the most unreliable phone i have ever bought i don’t trust that model after third time its been sent back i need reliable phone and this model is far from that.

Dear sir/ madam, I purchased a Blackberry curve 9300Kepler from the Vodacom store in Greenaches Port Elizabeth on the 14 Dec 2010, exactly 3 months ago. I was informed that if the phone had any problems within the first month it would be replaced. If any problems arose after that I would have to take it into a store and have it sent away for repairs. As mentioned above, its 3 months old! During the latter half of Feb 2011 I noticed that the scrolling button on my blackberry curve was defective. When scrolling down, it would automatically jump back to the top of the screen, preventing me from accessing any part of the phone.
I would have to sit for literally minutes trying to get it the curve operate properly. This obviously is very annoying especially when one has to reply to email etc. Today I have found that the lock button on the top of the phone has also become faulty. It does not lock at all. I utilize the blackberry phone for both work and personal business and must now send it in for repairs. Could you kindly advise me where to take it and hopefully I wont have to be send to Johannesburg for repairs. This could take weeks! This is certainly going to cause me problems as I utilize it on a daily basis. These phones are not cheap and one does not expect this type of problem with a blackberry 9300 kepler.
Will I now be liable for the repair costs of this problem which obviously emanates from the blackberry curve manufacturers. Could you please respond as soon as possible! Thank you!

I’ve struggled with Auto Page since the first time I’ve opened a contract with them (I really regret opening one THERE). I’ve got a Blackberry little more than a month ago and I’ve activated the blackberry service by dialing *147#. The service worked 100% until it expired a month later (Last week Sunday, 27th Feb 2011). I’ve phoned Auto Page and Stephan said that they should do it manually. I’ve faxed my details through and Stephan said that it will take 24 hours to be completed. I’ve phoned 24 hours later as the service was still not working and left messages (about 4), asking that he phones me back.
He never phoned me back. I phoned again and the lady that answered said it will take 24 working hours. I’ve phoned today (05/03/2011) again (after the 24 working hours) and the lady that answered and said that she can’t help, all the consultants is busy. I said one of them must phone me,they never did. I phoned again and ask to speak to a manager and she said that the manager is busy. I asked to phone me back, never received a phone call back. I phoned again and spoke to Stephan. He looked on the system and nothing was done for my query. So I wasted all my time (and like R60 airtime) for someone to assist.
The Head Ofiice nor the 0861 22 23 24 number works, as no one answers the phones. They are all lazy people working there and don’t even deserve to get paid as they are really not helping anyone. They can just close their doors.

Dear Sir, I’m from Saudi Arabia, and i had bought new Blackberry pearl 9150 mobile. In that mobile if i open Blackberry Appworld it displayed, “This facility is not available in your country”. Then if i open instant messenger like Yahoo, gtalk it starts showing, “This service is not enabled in your hand-held “. Please if any one know about this problem help me.

I took a contract from Vodacom and received my Blackberry. Within a few weeks it started frezzing and givng me a lot of problems, I took it it Vodacare and they had it sent in and I received a new Storm 2. I used it for a while and that started to give me problems as well. I then took that back and requested another model which they said they could not give. They replaced the phone with another storm 2 and yet again the phone goes faulty. I am tired of having to move all the info from my phone to the computer every time the phone goes faulty and then have to do be without my Blackberry until they decide to send me the same model phone which will give me problems and will have to have it replaced all over again.
I am a sales rep and require my email facility at all times and that is why I took the Blackberry. I am truly dissapointed with my phone and request that they swop my phone for a later model. Thanks.

My name is pradeep from UAE and last week i purchased a blackberry 8520. when i purchased the blackberry from the time sensor key pad is not working smoothly. i didn’t use at least one day really getting worry i think that mobile is made any local area, or manufacturing defects. that shop peoples are not take responsibility about that. actually what is problem new product is getting like this. we cannot believe blackberry please consider my request and give good solution!

when my blackberry 9800 torch is connected to my car kit and i receive a message it does not ring through the car kit it only rings on the phone. i have had it at the vodashop and they maintain that it is blocked. why? i do a lot of traveling and cannot be without this blackberry message ringtone not going through the car kit. I got a bb on the 5th October and i had to get a cover change, i was refered by my service provider (mtn) to take the phone to cell doc (DB celluar) PE as they are bb approved. Cell doc messed up the phone so badly they had to replace the LCD screen twice because they damaged it when the did the cover change. They also damage the speaker in the process they also going to replace that.
The phone is still with them, i would like to know what can i do about this because i dont want the phone back i want a swop out because the phone is new and they damaged it!! Please advise

Blackberry 9000. First let me preface by saying I work for one of the world’s largest corporations and am expected to conduct the majority of my business via cell phone. My company mandated blackberry 9000 has always been a time burner because of oddball problems over the time I’ve had it. The latest glitch has come in the form of random re-boots that take me out of service for however long it take the phone to go through it’s restart routine. When it happens during a conference call, the whole interaction is lost by the time I am able to get back online. This is a major loss of productivity for myself but more importantly for my customers. I look forward to the day I can rid myself of this pocket-stone.

I bought a phone a little under a month ago on contract upgrade, its a top of the range Blackberry Torch 9800 and I was assured by the salesman that I had a very good phone. In Indonesia on the 31st of December 2010 (three weeks later) the phone went into wht they call an “Infinite Reboot Loop”. This means that on startup, the progress bar will go to a certain level, then the phone will switch off, and startup again, repeating the process indefinitely. The Blackberry Torch is the best Blackberry currently on offer, the phone is three weeks old and is rendered unusable. I have tried to contact the blackberry support on the 2nd of January 2011, the automatic receipt came back with a confirmation and saying that they will get back to me within 24 hrs. It is now the 5th and I have not heard a word.

I have a Blackberry 9520 on contract through MTN which is a SARS business contract. When I first applied for the line I requested the 8520 but for some strange reason received the 9520 and only realized it after opening the phone and because the phone was given to me through SARS facilities which handles all our cell phone requirements I kept the phone instead of going through the hassle and paperwork of returning the phone. That, unfortunately was my mistake, instead I am now with a troublesome phone which I’m fast believing to be the worst in the Blackberry range, it’s so bad that I am at appoint where I would advise everyone not to get a Blackberry, unfortunately MTN wouldn’t give me another make, so I’m stuck with the Blackberry.
To tell you my story, I received my phone in April 2010 and started to experience problems almost immediately. The phone went in for repairs 3 times before finally being replaced with the same junk. The new phone is now also sitting with MTN because the same problem persists. The phone cuts off, freezes, closes applications, doesn’t allow for calls to go out, can’t answer calls and eventually with the last phone that I had, it switched off never to come back on again. Now I am being told that the phone is ready from being repaired, so I’m getting back the same junk and will in the short term experience the same problems once more.
MTN says they cannot replace the phone with another model and I need to take it up with Blackberry directly.
So in a last attempt to get back confidence in Blackberry I humbly request that consideration be given to taking this 9520 and giving me a different more reliable model within the Blackberry family.
The job numbers from MTN that have are
1. CHLSC2236958 and
2. CHLSC2282816
Please let me know if Blackberry would rather have me battle with one of their worst phones ever or would they look at exchanging this phone for a better model, I’m sure the media and the general public would like to receive news and reviews on your phones, this would be the ideal case to use for the worst phone ever.

I have been using blackberry service past of two years without internet services, all because of signal problems. I have the blackberry curve, which I have been using for quite some time now which doesn’t seem to want to get proper signal no matter where I tend to go! Driving causing problems as well as buildings, but this is even more than usual and I don’t find a reason for it. Not wanting perfect signal but decent at least as I am paying one hundred dollars per month estimated in bills and fees for this blackberry smart phone!

Since I purchased my Blackberry 9300 Curve in May 2011, I have had no problems with it and have not skipped a month of the R60 BIS bundle. Since then I have become a part of a mobile website that allows one to download American tv series and actual is the highlight feature of my phone to me. For a while now, though, I have not been able to download anything about 40MB, and every time I attempt to do so, an "http Error: 403 Forbidden" pops up, telling me that the item is too large to be requested for download. I researched the error and that your ISP might have set a limit which would prevent you from being authorised from downloading larger files.
Did Blackberry put a limit on our downloads and, if so, why? Likewise, if it is an error on the part of Blackberry RIM, why have we not been informed, warned or notified? Most individuals who own Blackberries have purchased their Blackberry specifically for the convenient and UNCAPPED internet service, offered by Blackberry RIM. When this is feature is altered in anyway, loyal customers become very displeased. I believe that such a move on the part of Blackberry RIM will most likely result in the loss of both existing and prospective clients if the problem is not resolved.
Not simply over a download limitation but for the fact that none of the Blackberry mobile phone holders have been informed, warned or notified. I have seen many complaints of this specific "http Error: 403 Forbidden" by many Blackberry owners all over all sorts of websites and am shocked that nothing had been done about it already. I sincerely hope that someone with diligence, competence and efficiency recieves my complaint so that a potential problem for Blackberry RIM can be avoided.

Dear Alexandra Zagury, Managing Director for South & Southern Africa. Palazzo Towers West, Monte Casino, William Nicol Drive, Fourways, Johannesburg, South Africa 2086.
Bold 9700 completely white screen since upgrade of software. Since around the start of this week I have had a problem that started with my screen going white after powersave. After pressing a few buttons I discovered the mute button would allow me to get back to my home screen after it resumed.
This kept on happening then after a while my screen developed another problem where the pixels from a previous screen would show after I have pressed an option. Moving the mouse cleared the pixels, The problem got more and more irritating so I decided to upgrade my phone software by connecting to the computer. Instead of this solving the problem it has kept the screen permanently white in a state where I cannot even receive calls! Can anyone help me?
I was given the Bald 9700 as a gift from my Gran Mother in February 2012 which was still sealed in the box. She had been traveling all over the world prier to returning back to South Africa. We have gone through all her possessions and have not found the invoice or any paper work for the phone. My Gran Mother has passed away in the mean time and cant get any other information. I know there is a 2 year warranty on the phone.
I took the phone to BlackBerry Customer service in Midrand (Vodaworld) they told me that the phone needed to be replaced. When my phone was scanned in they told me that they now could do nothing for me and did not want to help me in any way at all. Whom could I contact in SA to have the blackberry 9700 fixed. I received the Phone as a gift with a Vodacom card in the phone.
The IMEI of the phone is 352479040804064, Please could someone contact Myself on the above number and inform me where I could have this phone seen to and sorted out.
Best Regards,
Trevor Terblanche

My experience with Rogers Telephone Service today in regards to my blackberry 9700. I upgraded to the most recent version of blackberry software a few days ago, since this update, my phone battery drains 3x faster than normal resulting in me charging my phone at noon and again in the evening and then a 3rd time overnight.... I also have been receiving text/voicemail text messages hours (up to 12+) after people have sent them...So I go to a rogers store at st. vital mall and the guy doesn't do anything, just writes down a number for me to call (TECH SUPPORT)...FANTASTIC
So i call the number, After trying several times to navigate through their automated voice options i finally speak to an operator (she helps me out by telling me the following: 1) I have to DOWNGRADE to the lower version i previously had due to the fact that the latest version my phone can't handle...sweeeeett. 2) I then have to turn off my phone after our phone call, take out the battery, let it rest for 2 minutes while she resets my network...fine, so I do that.)
She then sends me an email telling me how to DOWNGRADE my version of blackberry...ok sounds good, So i follow the instructions in the email and low and behold, when i have downgraded, i have lost all of my contacts as well as all of my bbm contacts...AREEEE YOOUUU F-IINNGGG KIIDDIIINNNGGGGG MMEE BLLACKKKBBERRYYYY)....I am getting an iphone, I BETTER BE either allowed to cancel my contract free of charge after this terrible experience...feel free to comment oh and if everyone would be so kind to text me their number and say who it is...that would be just peachy lol (my pin also is XXXXXXXX) PLEASE RE-ADD ME)...JESUS

I own a blackberry 9900 and I'm constantly facing problems with this phone. The phone keeps rebooting automatically. I have always been part of the blackberry family but I'm not happy at all with the quality of service provided by blackberry and this is not attracting me to continue using a blackberry. I would really appreciate if blackberry can offer good service to people suffering with their bb electronic items. I thank you in advance for your co-operation.

I got my Blackberry curve 8520 in the month of may, fist it stalled and I could not use it, gave it in at Vodacom, waited for 3weeks and got it back, 1 mouth after that the phone started to just go off by it self all the time till it didn't turn on again, whent in again for 5weeks and they gave me a new phone, the same day I got the new one my screen go all white, its just working if its on charge, if I plug it out, it goes all white again and aim not, not, not happy because iam paying every mouth for a phone I don't even realy have! Don't want the Curve 8520 anymore and i where a big blackberry fan, but how can I be again if it just go on and on and on like that all the time??? You guys tell me???

i got the blackberry curve 9360 and from day one it has been nothing but trouble it cost me 469 pound then i had to send it off to get fixed needed a new battery but didnt get one sent back with the phone so had to go out buy a new battery, needed to get a new back cover because i didnt get one sent back with the phone so the front was brand new and the back was the same old one it looks amess, the carger bit on the phone where your charger goes that is broke so got to go out and pay another amount off money to get that fixed. the battery life last about 2 hours. not happy with this phone would advise noone to get one . my dad told me the phones were rubbish wish i would have listened to him

I've had my BlackBerry 9300 for about a year now. I've tolerated it until now. Within the last two weeks or so it randomly shuts down. It goes dead. I have to pull the battery. Once it reboots, it shows a good charge, but it continues to shut itself down. I've replaced the battery with a brand new one, but to no avail. I realize I'm out of the warranty window, so I'm stuck with a blackberry 'brick.'Â I am extremely disappointed in the quality and performance of BB phones and will switch to either android or the iphone asap. It appears this is a very common occurance for BB, but they refuse to make it right -- this buisiness model will be their downfall.
It won't be for the lack of customer complaints that caused the extinction of the BlackBerry. If they truely want to succeed, then they should recall phones with this problem, then fix the problem -- seems simple and honest to me. But, we live in a world where the customer doesn't come first any more. I had purchased a blackberry curve 9300 handset, but the phone was defective as the screen had bubbles and the main screen was loose. I had given the phone for replacement on 16th nov morning and was told that i will get the new set in one day after the approval from the company.
Now it has been two days and the service center person says that the company person who is to give approval has gone on a holiday for indefinate period and they do not know when he will be back, but I have to leave for kolkata tomorrow on 19th and hope to get my phone as soon as possible.

hi my self manpreet singh ,i m living in australia, i bought bbstorm2 from 3(network service) nearly 1 year and 4 months before. when i bought just after 1 month ,accidently i broke droped it and broke its screen . at that time i got some cracks but it was still working. i didnt have any problem with its touch screen. at that time i asked 3 cuctomer care to get it repaired and they were asking me $175 to get it done. at that time my financial condition was not good thats why i couldnt get it done. but after that it was working properly . but 2 weeks before its camera stop working. when ever i try to start it it says that close other applications first then try to start it again. i tried it many times but it was still the same.
after i called 3 customer care the guy he tried to fixed that problem by sync and rebooting it but he couldnt. after he replied me that go to some 3 store and give this handset to get it repaired bcos it was still under technical warranty or gurrantee as per aggrement for 24 months. i already submit my mobile to the 3 store at shoping centre near to my house with name as highpoint. but today morning i got reply from them that they cant repair it bcos as it got physical damage so it is not coming under any kind of gurrantee or warranty. and they said that this has been told to them from blackberry.
and they ask me to pay $350 to get it done. thats not fair i told them that i m not asking them to repair the screen i m asking for camera. but the customer care guy said to me the same thing again. now i dont understand what should i do. if i spend $350 i can have same phone secondhand with very good condition. but the thing is not that. my phone was under warranty and they should have repair that. the friend of mine had same problem with his phone but that was iphone and was still under warranty ,and he get his repair done may be apple have more facility for customers as compare to blackberry. i was feeling my self lucky that i have different phone as compare to all my friend. but this bad experience made me to think like that for blackberry.
i feel sorry to say that but thats why blackberry is not much comman as compare to iphone. i was thinking that my next phone willbe bbtorch but my all dreams got flushed with this experience. i dont have any hope for any kind of reply but still i m leaving my details if blackberry can do any thing for me then please.

Dears, we have used the Blackberry curve 8520 but we have some problem
i want to installed the application of Microsoft office and Microsoft world and Adobe reader, but of these application is not found anywhere. please tell me the location were i founds of these applications. i am waiting for your reply.
thanks,

My Blackberry Bold is 1 1/2 years old. I have had nothing but problems with this phone. I have talked to so many people regarding this problem and there seems to be know one who can help me. I love my blackberry but I am ready to switch to another phone. I thought I would try one last time to speak with someone about this matter. I am not sure what, if anything you can do to help me. I would love to hear from someone real soon regarding this matter. Thank you.

I joined the blackberry family in 2011 and was happy with the service and the phone up until I decided to upgrade to Blackberry 9300. I had my BIS set up, and got right to downloading, my first hiccup was that it was extremely slow, but other than that I had no complaints. And then eventually at times when downloads became fast I couldn't help but notice that my airtime too was fast disappearing. After losing airtime of R50 in just 2 days I decided to call the MTN customer service. However the woman I spoke to wasn't of much assistance, as all she could tell me was that blackberry now charges its clients for downloads. Now, I would like to know if this is true and if so why we were not notified

I have a Blackberry bold 9780, which was purchased from wind mobile for pretty penny, when it has just come out. Three months after I got the phone the screen stopped working. It was still brand new phone, fully taken care of. Blackberry has identified the problem with troubleshooting over the phone that itâs a hardware issue but they refuse to do anything about itâ¦as the phone was unlocked with the code from wind. Wind mobile refuses to assist as Iâm no longer a wind client.
This is ridiculous, Iâve always supported blackberry and never had to use their warranty or service before but I will definitely NOT buy a blackberry again as their service is horrible.

I have taken out a contract with MTN for a Blackberry Curve 9360. This contract was taken out on the 24th December 2011 and within 3 days had to return the phone 3 times. The phone kept restarting itself and didn't stop. We were advised that it could be a bad batch and were given a 4th 9360 from another batch. Well guess what it is now the 16 January 2012 and the 4th phone is now doing the same thing. It just reboots itself and keeps restarting. This is so irritating as now we have to go back to MTN and see what they can do. We were also advised that at the branch where we got the Curve 9360 in that period they had received 11 exchanges which surely shoudl ring alarms. If the phone is faulty take it off the market. It is time and energy wasted going back and forth to service providers.
I got my daughter a blackberry curve on contract , for the first week it worked fine , then after that it kept displaying sos initialisation failed. For 3 weeks she couldnt use the phone , except to play music , the phone she dropped and after i took it to carphone warehouse to ask about why the sos was displayed , they sent it off and then informed me the phone was damaged due to ebign dropped? How the hell can that be when it was not working before hand , I was told it would cost me £170 to fix , which was out of order as i only had it a week and it worked only for a short while , then .
I collects the phone after stating i will not be paying the huge bill , and no repair was done , i brigns it hoem only to find that it worked again . then it kept displaying sim card error , and again all was sorted . I think it is disgusting that people are treated this way and are expected to pay for a contract when the flippign thing doesnt work , i wish now i neevr opted for a blackberry. It's an outrage
I am not sure if submitting a complaint helps or not cause does Blackberry manufacturers actually red the complaints and respond?

Bb isd seriously pissing me off! Now AGAIN when I'm downloading from the internet,it takes forever to download! This was a previous problem and now again! I pay for BIS in other words Blackberry Internet Service, and that's what I get for paying??? The service sucks! Everyday I hear of more people leaving the BB world! And I'm sure I'm not the 1st one complaining about this, but you guys just don't give a crap!

Yes For me i am sending this to you very first time and don't understand how under warranty phone not acknowledged becouse of recipt, its related to my blackberry device 9780 (white cooler) EMI- 357175042399369 and pin - 277558EA bought in month of February and gifted to me by my friend on FEB 2012 on birthday, now on very next day (20th Feb that phon was non operational so blackberry offered me a new phon with replacement and now this is working very fine, but from last month my device Batery is hardly giving me backup for 4 hours, on 16/02/2013 when I reached on blackberry
Service center. Ground Floor, 739/1, Parshvanath Building, Opposite To Motorola Building, Old Gurgaon Road, Gurgaon Sector-14, Gurgaon-122001, Mr. Lokesh and Saurabh singhaniya refused to handle it due non availability of recipt which was wrongly taken by at the time of hand set replacement, that time I was not at all aware that they should not. Suppose to take it, as per service center also my phon was under warranty,
This is relly frustrating that you are not going as per your system and a peace of paper is so important rather then ur customers... What I will do for this phone which is giving me backup for a maximum 4 hours..,

I did not receive a disc with my blackberry containing the software needed to use my blackberry as a modem. I have to download it from the internet but how am I supposed to connect to the internet and download the software if my blackberry is my only form of internet and can not connect on the pc because I can't get the software

On the 2nd day after purchase, I handed the handset(9320) to the shop from where I purchased the BB handset. He received the handset in healthy condition without any scratches, etc. From that day, he followed up with service center and committed that replacement of handset will be given. But after 15 days, I was handed over same handset by shop owner with its motherboard replaced and scratches on the body, which I refused to accept. My handset is with the shop owner who is refusing for replacement inspite of committment. Replacement(DOA) was also promised by Mr. Chirag(Blackberry service center, Thane, Mumbai).

I have a blackberry curve 9300 and bought in last year since then I have had to take it back to the shop where I bought it from to get it fixed 4 times and twice they have give me a brand new blackberry curve 9300 that have the same problems as the first one I had. The problems are when on the internet you can't have two pages on at once for a long time because after five minutes it shuts the page down without worning you, it even does it when I have one page open. The pages take ages to load when trying to get on a page and is only quick for the first couple of minutes. Also the phone freezes from time to time and the tracking pad is un controlable in the wind, yes the wind it moves by its self when you take your finger off it. If my phone brakes or has a fault again can I ask for a different modle phone or get commpensation for being mest about so much when I though I was purchesing a desent phone. Thanks

To Whom It May Concern: I opened another account with the Vodashop in Cresta round the 7th August 2011 and happily got the Blackberry torch as I got my Son one when his upgrade was due and have had no problem whatsoever to date (Touch Wood). Much to my disappointment my phone started freezing up and had to be switched off and rebooted at least once or twice a week then yesterday 31st October at round 10:00 the phone froze completely none of the keys worked and could not even switch it off I called vodashop and was told to take the Phone to Vodacare also in the Cresta centre I did so yesterday at just after five they checked the phone.
Was told that there was a problem with the keys as well I backed up all my data at Vodacare @ R 50. 00 and bought at Cheep Nokia for R 550.00 as I expected to wait a while for my phone. This morning I got an Sms to say I could collect my phone I was quite taken aback as I though it was impossible that they could have sorted the problem so soon I went to the center at 5.30 and got the phone I was annoyed as the phone was full of greasy finger marks could have sworn the Technician had been eating KFC while working on my phone.
I look after my phone its always in is cover and I wipe it with the cloth supplied by Blackberry in the box, not impressed anyway switch on the phone seemed everything was working signed off the job card and went to the chaps that backed up my Data yesterday literally just had to turn around and sit down checked the phone again and to my disgust the thing was totally frozen again exactly the same as yesterday.
I went straight back to the repair counter and showed them (no excuse or explanation THEY JUST PROCEEDED TO BOOK IT IN AGAIN ) I was by this time really angry and said to the lady is that it just book it back in do you think I am stupid they did not do a thing and I find this disgusting not even any form of apology for the inconvenience nothing I would suggest you get some professional customer service representative with some form of people skills instead of the tired staff you have behind the counters.
I will be forwarding this mail to Hello Peter as well as the Consumer Protector as the phone has not even made three months and I had no problem sending it in as it obviously older than seven days but I then would at least expect it to be repaired and not retuned the next day as if I am some sort of fool that has no clue what I am doing this is not my first Blackberry and I am fairly clued up on them...

I'm writtin to let yous know I'm not happy I have downloaded and paid for a few apps now and they are not appearin on my fone so I'm payin for them and not gettin to use them if this doesn't get sorted very soon I will not be usin my blackberry for much longer and I will tell all friends and family that yous scam us by doing this its a joke! Why is this happenin?

To whom so ever it is concerned. I want to complaint regarding blackberry at cunningham road, bangalore. Those idiots have taken my phone for repairing and they told me they will send the phone and will give get it repaired within 8 working days. but when i called them up after 8 days they told me to collect it after 1 week and then i called after 1 week again they told one more 1 week. The lady working there told me its in delhi and then i called again the guy who picked up the call he said its in bangalore.. I mean what the hell is going with my phone yar. no one is telling. Is there someone who cal resolve this issue please

I have been a Blackberry user for a number of years. The qwerty, trackpad, e-mail, battery life and simplicity of the OS was something that I appreciated over the competitors. The Blackberry's have been the best for business use. The only upgrade that was needed was improved browser, increase in business applications and multi-media capabilities.
You wasted so much money and energy with the Z10. Very few Android and Apple users will have any incentive to switch to the new Blackberry OS, while alienating the loyal and core users. You aren't being Blackberry anymore. You are being an Android and Apple copycat company.
What is going to happen is there are going to be loyal customers that will choose to move to Android. Not for the touchscreen. I am saying the qwerty keyboard phones. I don't understand what the company is thinking. Another idea is to use the Android OS just for a full touchscreen phone and leave it at that. Try to get the market that way.
The Q10 and similar physical qwerty phones should be the basis of your business. I have heard that there is a lack of basic function capabilities on the new OS. For example, the search function used to be great before 0s6. You could punch in a word and find a contact based on the information in the notes section. I don't understand why you took that feature away. It caused people that relied on putting information in the notes section for seach purposes to now lose out on that way to find contacts.
The browser has been average and this is why you had to improve it. Great, we are all happy for the improvement but please don't take away features that the loyal customers have grown accustomed to having. I care about the company. I want you to succeed but it has to be with your niche.
I hope this reaches someone at Blackberry.

Hi,
I bought a Blackberry 8520 from Sangeetha in JP nagar 7th phase, the bluetooth and data cord file transfer of handset does not work. I called up Sangeetha to submit the handset to Blackberry service center. They kept the handset for 20 days and did not resolve my issue and returned it to me via Sangeetha. This is pathetic customer service from Blackberry, I want someone to revert to me at my phone number - 98865-28180 to resolve this issue or I have to go to consumer court to have this adhered.
Thanks,
Binu Balakrishnan

In March 2011 I purchased for myself and family four blackberry curves, an expensive adventure, but we were excited to have them and I have maintained the equally expensive monthy fees asscoiated with the phones as we enjoy them very much. Even when we went without the phones operations this past fall due to the blackberry system crash we stood strong behind the cell phones we choose. Unfortunately these last few months I have had to question our choice. Our phones have started to freeze, to randomly scroll through text, to constantly having to remove the battery to reset the phone, delays in receiving calls and messages to not receiving the update noticifications for the installed apps.
To help I contacted the establishment I purchased the phones from, they recommended updating my OS. So I did the update on all four phones. The problems did not correct, they got worse, and one of the phones completley stopped working. I now have a sour taste in my mouth in regards to weather I did make the right choice for a cell phone. The phones have been sent for repair, yet I now have concerns in weather or not this will be a recuring issue how often will I be without a cell phone, that I use for work and still have monthy charges for.
How fortunate for me that these problems started shy of one year of ownership, as I am begining to think that the cell phone that I was so excited to have was actully a bad choice. I now have to question if it Blackeberry's business practices to make and sell products that only work long enough to start costing their customers money. The iphones are looking very good. I would only hope that you will find a resolution to renew my faith.

This is with reference to broken usb slot of my black berry bold. My phone was not getting charged due to broken USB slot and i showed this to blackberry service center. On checking first i was told there will be service as well as part replacement charges I asked about the payment as my handset was still under warranty period why should i be charged for service charges. only replacement on usb port should be charged.
I requested to recheck with their dept and confirm me . On this I received email from the service center confirming that my black berry cannot be repaired at all and i can buy another handset by paying 80 % of the price. This is something unacceptable as phone which had only charging issue is not repairable now. I gave the phone in working condition and its now redundant.
My handset was working fine only problem was with charging and now as i argued on service charges and my phone was declared handset which cannot be repaired. this is pathetic service for the brand name like this and would never buy and advice any one to buy BLACKBERRY. I want my complaint should be addressed in a more professional way. I want my handset to be repaired with to be returned back to me in working condition.....

Well let me tell u something about the blackberry bold 9800..., It switches off when it likes, the flash works when it wants to! Even though its got 3G, it dose not go on to the internet in the early hours of the morning "2am to 5am" while i'm at work. I'm not going to lie. I have owned the Blackberry Curve before, and when i laid my hands on the Blackberry Bold 9800 it felt like no other! I ended up buying it! I find it so useful it helps me at my job "during" the day time. But it would be nice to have the internet when i need it! Its my second BOLD now, and i'm not impressed neither are the people iv been speaking to! I would love to buy the new bold, but i refuse! Because i am not going to buy such an expensive phone just for the looks! It would be nice if i can get a reply or a suggestion to my complaint.

I would like to complain profusely about the complete joke that is the Blackberry Torch smartphone. I was stupid enough to get it on a two year contract (locked in till September) and its the worst phone I've ever had. The number of times I have had to simply knock the battery out of the back and start again due to the phone constantly freezing, the facebook app freezing (also made a fatal mistake of downloading the latest version which has made facebook even worse) and now I am being plagued again with this stupid timer thing going when I'm trying to send a text, comment on facebook....anything really!! I would not recommend this smartphone to anyone and am so incensed about what a crap phone this is, I am now considering putting a video on youtube urging people NOT to buy it as it is a joke!

I bought a Z10, it did not work, they said I have damaged the SIM card holder, it was not under warranty so cannot replace a new one. I asked for a quote to have it repaired and two weeks have gone and they still cannot quote me a price. What kind of company am I dealing with? How much longer do I have to wait for just a quotation?

Hi Sir/Madam I have a blackberry curve 8520 and I have a problem with it cos its can't notify me if I receive an email and I tried to setup my email but it only gave me one option that say:I want to use work email address...,actually I dnt want to use work email then it can't go through, sometime it tell me to put activation server password and I dnt have it,the only thing that bother me is that I see my email if I check my internet and sometime I saw a email after an Hour cos it not notify me if you can help me with that.and setup my email and wireless.thanx

I purchased a Blackberry 9360 for my daughter on 15 September 2012. On 26 September 2012, 5 days after the final date for return, the phone stopped working. I took the phone into Vodacom Fourways Mall and they sent it away for repairs. 10 days later I collected the phone, but it only worked for 2 weeks. I took the phone back again on 10 October 2012. After a month of the phone being in for repairs they called to say there was a refurbished phone waiting for me. I was not happy with his and asked if I could rather pay the difference and purchase a better Blackberry as this model was obviously not great. This wasn't possible. We have now had the phone since 10 November and it has never worked properly. today the front cover started to come loose!
I am so disappointed as I am a big Blackberry fan and both my daughters have one so do I. The problem is it appears that if you have this type of problem with your Blackberry there is no one to contact to get assistance in sorting it out. the vodacom shop where I bought the phone don't seem prepared to help as they say its a Blackberry problem and all they can do is keep sending it in for repairs. At this stage the phone has been in the workshop more than out. I would love to pay in the extra and get my daughter a better phone.

I have been a loyal supporter of BlackBerry ever since I purchased the BlackBerry Bold 9780 for R 4200 24 September 2011. It worked rather well until 5 months ago when the black hour-glass icon appeared all the time and it had major memory issues. Eventually I had to take it to get the software removed and reinstalled. Anyhow, after the software was re-installed , the issue came back a week later. I complained to the Regional Manager of the chain of stores in Cape Town , South Africa. She issued me with a brand new BB Bold 9900 (which was selling for R 6600). Anyhow heres where my focus from being a loyal supporter to an absolute hater of your product. I was issued a BB Bold 9900 Saturday 1 December 2012 as part of the exchange process from my BB 9780 = it lasted 6 days where I had BIS connectivity issues.
Exchange 2 BB Bold 9900 Friday 7 December 2012 then BIS connectivity issues again. Exchange 3 BB Bold 9900 Friday 14 December 2012. I assumed it may have been a bad batch of this model from this store so I asked the Regional Manager to organise one from a different store This one lasted 2 days before the BIS connectivity issues reappeared. My cellular provider did nothing to rectify the problem. I will gladly attach images of the errors I experienced using the so-called faster, better new Blackberry Bold 9900.

I have a Blackberry 8520 which was purchased in February this year. The phone has always been taken care of. Under the terms of purchase the phone had a 1 year warranty. The phone will no longer charge. The Phone has been sent to Blackberry who have advised they will not fix the phone under the warranty because covering the charing of the phone is not covered!! This is a joke. The phone should last at least a few years and not break within a very short space of time.

Hello sir,
I have a blackberry curve 9220. i am getting problems in the handset.the battery connectors are loose and due to that the handset restarts frequently or at times goes in off state. to make it functional i have to insert a small piece of paper in between the battery and its connectors. i had made the complaint for same in January 2013 at Nehru place service center, Delhi and they kept the handset for 15 days on pretext that they handset will be sent to Banglore. i received the handset after 15 days as it was before, ie with no corrections. its been more than 3 months that the part is still not available. the handset is still under warranty. neither they are doing any efforts nor they are replacing my handset. it is too frustrating for me.
IMEI- 352660059373725

BT MAC- 70 AA B2 A5 D3 EA
Waiting for a positive reply.
thankyou.

So I've had a lot of problems with slow downloading while i have 3G so i contacted my service provider where I've been told than Blackberry is blocking of downloads only letting browsing... As I 3 year Blackberry customer I've started making use of Blackberry because of the unlimited downloads as it was advertised on national TV. If this is the case that Blackberry do prevent its customers that pays there BIS to be able to download I for one will not buy a Blackberry again or choose a Blackberry when i upgrade. To make my point of view stronger I am not the only one who feels this way as according to forums and answering sites thousands of Blackberry users feel the same way. Even 90% of the people i know that make use of Blackberry also say that they will rather then make use of tablets, Iphones and other hand sets. So here by Blackberry will have a loss of thousands of customers. I for one do understand the fact that numbers of user do miss use this privilege but in advantage of Blackberry its self it will be more wise to rather set a limit like normal uncapped internet service providers do to prevent miss use but still keeping customers happy. I for hope that this issue will be taken up seriously and that actions may be taking in order to fix this which are leaving numbers of Blackberry customers unhappy and leaving a none satisfying thought in our mind regarding Blackberry.

I sent my BB9630 in for repairs, as it wouldn't switch on. 3 weeks later I received a new phone, only to find out that it wasn't working either! It was sent back again, and after 2 weeks I was notified that it was sent for "a higher level of repair" (job nr 8371319). I've now been without my phone for 5 weeks! This is ridiculous. I wonder if Blackberry thinks that I will promote their products after this?

I will start by saying as a loyal customer to canadian business and products regardless of your declining success my wife and I bought new blackberry bold 9900's. After a couple of months her screen began 2 act up. She toook it back to rogers they opened it up and could not see any reason for malfunction so they sent it back to blackberry who never contacted her about what was happening. Long story short she contacted rogers and rogers contacted blackberry who claimed water damage. We could not believe this claim because nothing bad ever happened to it for there to be water damage. Sorry to say unless you, blackberry provides some compensation you have lost another two customers.

I sent my blackberry curve into bell 6 weeks ago. I just got it back and it said that the warranty was void due to physical damage. The warranty costing a lot as it is to even get. I find this unfair because in my opinion I think it got warn out over the year I've been using it and that it wasn't all my fault. Now i have to go buy a new phone, all because nobody seems to believe me and what I have said.

my elder brother just eturned fron United States and he gfted me his Blackberry. As the condition of the Blackberry set was not good, i decided to go to service center but they refused to give service what they said that we could not give you any suport becouse you got it from out side of india so you plz tell me where should i go to get the ervice?

I recently upgraded my BlackBerry Curve 9360 and since then my trackpad baarely, ever works and it keeps rebooting. ive only had it for about five months now and this isn't the first problem. My first problem was the vibration stopped working and I contacted the BlackBerry RIM people and the helped me fix it then it stopped working again shortly after... The next problem was the trackpad started acting up then I updated my BLackBerry Curve 9360 to 7.1 Bundle1996 and ever since then it has rebooted every time I unlocked my phone.

After buying a playbook for my daughter along with 3 other work colleagues all of our playbooks have the same fault and can't be charged, when sending off to be fixed blackberry have said it is usb damage and won't cover the repair even though it has been very carefully used. I am absolutely disgusted and will be warning everyone I know to never buy anything from blackberry! Clearley as it is not an isolated incident and has happened to more than 3 others the same make it is poor quality with faults. Currys where it was purchaced from have also said they have had alot brought back with the same fault, it is disgusting that blackberry can be doing this to consumers, I shall be taking it further!

I have a BlackBerry Bold on contract and my screen is giving problems. The display is blurry and patchy. On Sunday 18 September 2011 I went to the Bayside Village branch where the saleslady, Shahieda Smith, gave me all the wrong information. It will take 3 weeks for my phone to get fixed and I will loose all my data on the phone. She also promised me that the store manager, Faldielah Valley, will give me a call by the following day as I insisted that should they take my phone that I will need a handpiece to borrow as I have a business and all my emails are on my phone, etc.
It is now Tuesday 20 September and nobody has contacted me and my phone is getting worse by the minute. I even offered to take my phone to the repair centre to try and save time, but I got zero service and NO help. My phone is still guaranteed under contract - I've only had it for a year. I think it is disgusting - I spent almost R700 per month (sometimes more) and I'm never behind with any of my payments. As a customer I expect the service that I pay for.

Good morning
My name is Priscilla Bon, I purchased my Blackberry on 09 March 2013 from Markhams in Table View outside of Cape Town. It is a 9320 which cost me R2400 and after only 6 weeks, I had to return it because it was overheating very severaly. Now I have to wait 4 weeks before I can have it back or replaced. That is almost as long as I have had it, and in the mean time, I am stuck with no means of contact or communication as they do not even want to give me a loan phone. It has been less than a week that I returned it and already I am missing appointments, and people battling to get hold of me. Please advise why it must take so long. I have had my other phone for over three years and never had problems like this.

And never has a problem I rang orange 3 times and they keep fobing me off saying its nothing to do with them its to do with blackberry so if this problem aint solved soon me and my son shall go else where for a mobile that works thanks for your time in reading this and can't wait to hear from you

Last December i got my first blackberry i was told they were one of the best phones to have so i decided to get one. after only a month of having my blackberry it started to freeze, then after a while it started freezing everyday. i had to keep rebooting it nearly everyday so that i could stay in contact with my friends and family. then the enternet started crashing , i was not able to go online or even send messeges through bbm. i pay for all these things on my blackberry and i do not get any of them anymore. my blackberry recently started running like brand new again.
i was considering getting a new one this year, but then it started doing the same old things: freezing , no internet , my messages wont send and sometimes i cant receive important phone calls. as i said i am paying for these things every month but not getting them. i am just wasting my money!

DeI cannot find a correct email address and currently and I am abroad, so calling customer support is not an option. If this is not the correct place to submit a written complaint, please could you very kindly forward it onto the relevant department. I am writing this email to express my unhappiness and dissatisfaction with my Blackberry. I purchased my Blackberry Bold 9790 at the end of spring 2012 through the Carphone Warehouse. Since then, this model has been nothing but problematic.
For example, this model constantly freezes and displays the 'timer' icon in a small box in the middle of the screen. The most recent problem occurred last week. An application appeared on my home screen, entitled 'software update'. Naturally, believing it was a legitimate icon, I began the software update. The screen then froze at 7% completion. I then turned it off, took the battery out and restarted it. The problem persisted. I then took it to Geek Squad (my technical support and insurance company) and was assisted there. They told me that this was a very common occurrence and should have done the update through a computer and that the newest models no longer have this software option due to regular malfunctions.
The update was completed, subsequently leading to my phone being restored to its factory settings, thus loosing all contacts, emails, text messages, downloaded applications and saved preferences. It has also brought the rate of internet searches down. The mere fact that this is 'common occurrence' is simply not good enough of a leading phone company. Secondly, there was no recommendation from Blackberry to complete this update through the PC. The only recommendation came through public internet forums. Now, my phone regularly restarts, even if I am half way through using it.
This is highly inconvenient and is solely the responsibility of Blackberry. I feel the only way this can be resolved, and to keep my respect for Blackberry, is to be sent a newer model handset, where these problems do not occur. A phone model as modern as mine, should not be having these problems. I will not be happy to send my phone to Blackberry for inspection, until a new model has arrived, as my phone is vital for my work and pleasure.
I will be very dissatisfied to be kept waiting on a temporary phone, for an uncertain amount of time, until it is fixed. I will send my phone once a new model has arrived. Naturally, the recipient of this email is not to blame. The manufacturing team is and I am sorry that you have to deal with this, when it is the fault of your company. However, this issue does need to be sorted and I will accept no method or outcome, other than the one I have proposed. I have lost all faith in Blackberry and need to be treated like a customer, as I have invested a lot of money into this model. I hope this issue can be resolved efficiently and properly.

i have a blackberry 8520 (curve) that has a broken charger slot this is the 3rd one that ive had & all previous phones broke in the same place, this does not fall under parts that my insurance cover. i'm extremely annoyed about it & believe that this modle phone should have been recalled as this is a common fault.

I bought my 9 year old daughter a blackberry. The battery life is shocking. but my main concern is the fact that this so call good quality mobile phone nearly burnt my house down!. The flash light on the phone flicks on and off as it pleases, but it then dint turn off at all, i went through all the settings and chose the option to turn the light OFF but this did not work, i tried this several times an still failed. I then tried turning the phone off this still did not work. in the meanwhile this was not a major problem, the problem was my daughter took her phone to bed as normal but by the morning the light was still ON an the phone was hot, the light had got that hot it had scorched the bedding melted the bit around the light. If this was left just a little longer it could have been fatal. I'm not happy about this and would like something doing about it. I'm willing to go to any lengths to get this sorted. I do not expect to buy my daughter a phone and it happens to be deadly.
