Inappropriate Phone Call from eBay

Today, February 14th at 3.30 am phone call received re Ebay. This is inappropriate use of a private line at that time of night,
It is quite frightening when at 78 years old and my husband at 81 years old are disturbed when asleep by a fatuous voice saying ‘this is an automated call…’ we hung up. Ebay this cannot happen again.

I had 2 automated telephone calls yesterday with dialogue as follows: This is a call from ebay, please press 6 if you are expecting this call. I had a call 2 minutes later saying the same but press 2 if you are expecting the call. I have contacted ebay today and they have not tried to telephone me. Beware – this must be yet another way that foreign companies are trying to get our personal details. Sick to death of this and I’m sorry that you are so desperate for a job that you have to scam others – SHAME ON YOU!
