The Cucamonga Service Station in Rancho Cucamonga, California, is a gas and automotive service station that dates back to the early 1900s. Though Henry Klusman, who built many of Cucamonga's first structures, is said to have built it around 1915, there is no proof of this at the moment. The station was in operation until 1971. The famous Route 66 was established in 1926, and the station is located on the north side of Route 66. Originally, the Cucamonga Service Station was only one of the thousands of identical service stations along the route. It is the only remaining service station on Route 66 in California.
