Five businessmen from southern Colorado started Loaf 'N Jug, a bakery, and coffee shop. Kroger bought Loaf 'N Jug in 1986. Convenience store brands (Loaf 'N Jug, Kwik Shop, Quick Stop, Tom Thumb, and Turkey Hill Minit Market) were reimaged by Kroger in 2006, and all of them were given the same logo. One of Pueblo, Colorado's largest corporations, EG Group, owns the network of convenience stores and petrol stations known as Loaf 'N Jug. Pueblo, Colorado, was chosen as the company's primary headquarters. They became a fixture in the Midwest, moving into states like Wyoming, New Mexico, Montana, Nebraska, and the Dakotas. EG Group purchased all 152 Loaf 'N Jug convenience stores in 2018.
