At the time of checkout I could not find my coupon and ask for assistance from the young lady to help me find it on my phone. I let the next person go ahead of me while I tried to find a coupon on line and the young lady said something about we don't use (?) anymore. I am not sure what term she used. Not her problem I know. So I said let me get help from the other lady I recognized who I believe is a manager. She guided me thru the internet and I found a in store coupon. Not only did I feel the lack of customer service from the young lady but another customer who I did not know at the time approached my friend and gave her a coupon for me and commented to her that she would not be back. When I was checking out, I found my strip of coupons, some expired but one I could use. I offered it to a lady beside me who spoke very little English and the young sales ckerk did not say anything to let the lady know, this will take the price down. When leaving that is when my friend told me what the other customer said. I just retired (33 yrs) customer service from Cleveland Clinic and I was a trainer. This was not good customer service.

I am so sorry to hear all dressbarn are closing. I’ve been shopping at the store for some time. At the store customer service has really changed I understand the workers there are losing their jobs however they’re rude and not helpful. I understand I can still shop online. I will continue to shop there until the store finally closes. It would be nice if corporate would make a phone call to the ladies that work there, to still show Dress Barn’s customer service.

i made several orders on June 5 2019 which was over $600. One was on DB cc and other through my bank. Everything was in stock and the orders wen thru and the funds were taken from accounts. The next day ALL orders were cancelled with no further info given. I phoned 4 times on the 6th AND even phoned with 2 supervisors and all told me different stories. The funds have not been credited back to any of my accounts either. I tried calling the DB credit card to conference in with DressBarn customer service so they would lift the charge since my order was cancelled and they literally blew me off twice and both did the same thing. They said they would conference in but only transferred me and then hung up. The only response Im getting from DB customer service is would you like to order these items now! Are you serious... dressbarn hasnt refunded me but Im supposed to order again?!? What sense does that make? Ive never had anything like this happen at DB? What is going on... the company is shutting does so I guess they just don't care anymore- is that it? All I know is you are supposed to treat people with respect but thats not what Ive been given and DB is sitting on a-lot of MY money that needs to be REFUNDED to me IMMEDIATELY. Ive wasted hours dealing with this but apparently my time and money doesnt matter. Selfish selfish world we live in.

why is the store closed at 7pm at your location at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets when the web page say 9 pm. This is very inconsiderate considering people work till late hour's as well.

I have recently found out that two of our old employees quite after rebecca venegas-cavazos retaliated against them & broke the law on both in two different ways

One employee celina hall was forced to work on sundays for months while not being able to attend church while trying to bully celina
While rebecca vegegas-cavazos made sure she never missed church wednesdays or sundays

While Angelica Stroud hours were cut after angelica had to call jn due to a family emergency.
Angelica showed me were she called rebecca hours before her shift started & rebecca called her back asking her to come in anyways angelica showed me the text message she sent rebecca even after she had told her she couldnt make it in because of the family emergency
When angelica couldnt rebecca venegas-cavazos cut her hours to six hours a week
There is proof in the schedules that were made
Angelica has copies of the schedules as proof

Both of these matters rebecca broke the law putting dress barn in jeopardy of law suits

All of our employees are fed up with rebecca harassing them here at dress barn & her bullying tactics that they want to quite

Yes dont close dressbarn .i have all dress pants shirts from the store .its my favorite stor close the one that dont make money keep on line shoping for u.get rib of lane branyt. That store .never see peolpe in it.the dress barn in brookyln is a bisy stores the girls know u by name.i think your doing a wron g thing.union tpye .is a slow store i can understand cl8sing that one but brooklyn green aces is very busy.

I love this store I always shop here for all my clothes. It is one of the best stores for plus size and regular size women!! Me and my friends, family , co workers shop here. I get all my work clothes, dress clothes, and causal clothes here!!! PLEASE RECONSIDER CLOSING YOUR STORES!!! HERE IN PHILDELPHIA AREA LOVE YOUR STORE!!!!! I SHOP IN THE CITY LINE STORE, BROOMALL STORE, I EVEN TRAVELED TO OTHER STORES TO GET YOUR PRODUCTS. DONT CLOSE YOUR STORES MAYBE YOU CAN CONSOLIDATE SEE HOW IT GOES!!! I had to the opportunity to visit your North Canton, Ohio Store recently - It was the worst experience and I will never again shop at your store. I entered the store hoping to purchase a nice pair of dress pants for work as I approached the counter I said Hi the lady behind the counter - No reply back I thought well maybe she didn't hear so I proceeded to shop throughout the store not one time did anyone ask If I needed any help. It wasn't until I finally went up to the sales associate and asked her for some assistance. I actually counted that they were (2) two associates working. I was so upset about my experience I told everyone at work along with my Family & Friends. Clearly Customer Service is not something that is practiced at this location.Given the location. Target & Kohls along with the Mall are located across the street. As a consumer making each customer feel welcomed and creating an experience that will have them come back. I wanted to express my feelings hopefully going forward you will visit that store and try to come incorporate Customer Service training for your staff. If not that store will not last long.

Hi my name is mildred quezada and im a loyal customer for years and never had any issues. On Saturday may 4th i went to the palm beach outlets and was going to purchase a jumpsuit that was on clearance . When the clerk (Nancy) scanned the item it did not show up on clearance, so I mentioned to her that the item was on sale. And she turned around and yelled across the store : ok ok dont bite my head off !! I was so embarrassed and confused as to her reaction since i was not rude to her all i did was let her know the items was on sale . And it did not stop there she continued to complain and yell ok yes customer service. I understand we all have bad days but it was a continued harrasment. I hope someone management addresses this issue . Im a loyal customer and almost did not purchase the item due to customer service .

The manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. The store in the plaza in Detroit I have been in a couple of times because I work at Ascension, the last time I was in there her demeanor was so extremely unprofessional that I said I would never go back well today I did go back and I was thankful that I did not see her behind the counter however the very nice young lady that was helping me had a question for her regarding the 30% off because my purchase did not reflect. She said I had to get a text message, the signs said nothing about a text message. I decided not to make my purchase for full price and she threw her arms up at me and waved me good bye. What kind of store "Manage" behaves this way? I was shocked and so were the ladies that I was shopping with. I will not ever shop at this store again and sadly neither will my co-workers that were with me.

Returning a pair of jeans for one size difference. Asked associate where are SAME jeans. She takes me to them, I grab size, she opens dressing room, I try on, sold. She is lovely.

I then go to counter to now do the even exchange and she indicates I now must pay additional 20 plus dollars as I got original pair with a discount. I asked why, it's an even exchange just the size? She says " maybe I did it wrong I'm sorry" and calls ASHLEY. This is in the Sherwood plaza Natick/Framingham store on 4/7/19 about 6:45 p.m.

Ashley after hearing my associates story question looks at skew and SNAPS with a TONE at me
" these aren't the same pants " as if to say I must be stupid. I say yes, I asked for the same pant and she showed me where the SAME pants were, see the tag..."signature fit, mid rise, boyfriend," it's the same Jean only a size different.
Ashley now nastily states "no, its not we go by skew numbers, it's not the same pants do you want them or not?!"
ALL WHILE WALKING AWAY FROM ME WAVING HER HAND IN A DISMISSIVE GESTURE!! I say, or try to say, I dont care about the skew number I'm trying to understand why it has the exact same tag and the associate agreed it's the SAME pants, why I can just exchange for the smaller size without a 20 plus more dollar charge. " I'm just telling you it's NOT the same pants and you're giving me attitude, you don't want attitude dont give me attitude, again now shes walking away again this time to back vs front of store, and now spewing an added veiled threat to her rant " you better leave "!. I asked, the back of her, as she is almost to the back room door entrance now, "what did you just say to me"? She then muttered something about calling security. I said you had better stop with the yelling at me and your unwarranted threats...all to a customer for just asking a question. Please give me the name of the manager if this store. She was in back room by then, the associate didn't know the name, had to ask Ashley for the member, she came back out to desk, wrote down a number and then continued to try and engage me in an argument while lecturing me about giving her attitude. I said I want the name of who you report to, I've never been treated like this ANYWHERE EVER in my life, she con tuning to wave hand walks away periodically turning back around barking questions and attacking me verbally. I look at paper and theres an 800 number only, no supervisor name.
I then clarified with the associate who seemed, new, scared and torn between customer loyalty and someone shes clearly afraid of, again what is her name and she said Ashley.

I've been coming here since the store opened, always lovely and helpful staff. This was frightening, irrational, unwarranted behavior to watch and to be a victim of! I'm happy to discuss further with appropriate management and respectfully ask this be addressed immediately as there is a real problem in this store that never before existed. Thank you.

I received a jacket for a birthday gift about 10 months ago. It is red and black plaid with a tie. Light weight material like a sweatshirt. I loved the jacket and got many complements on it but after wearing it a few times I noticed the material has a lot on pills all over it and it looks like a very old worn out jacket. I am so disappointed as I have only worn it a few times. I will not wear it anymore because of how it looks. The jacket was originally around $50. My daughter cannot believe how it looks. The store will not take it back because my daughter does not have the receipt. I shop at the Dress Barn all the time. I was wondering if I could be compensated some how for this. I appreciate anything you can do.

I have been a very loyal customer for several years. I love your clothes, etc. However, in the past year something has gone wrong with your hosiery. I have always loved the fit and color, but the last year the fit has been totally off. I buy the Take Control Luxe Control Top in a size 2x Black. Here lately, I can bearly get the hosiery up past my thighs and if I get them up it is a struggle. The first time it happened I just thought it was a irregular pair, but here lately it has been every pair and the same has happened to my daughter. Just this morning she called me with the same complaint and I just bought us both 3 pairs each last week. Have you changed your vendor? What is the issue? My daughter and I can't be the only one's with this complaint. I will not purchase another pair.

I brought two pair of 16W pants. I tried to return to get a smaller size because they are to big and the manager would not let me return them because I did not have the tag that go on the paints. I had the receipt. All they have to do is match the paints with the number on the receipt. Now I have two pair of pant that I can't work. I have been a loyal customer to Dressbarn for years and their customer services is not acceptable. The manager in Germantown was rude and when I called the Dressbarn store in Frederick, where I made the purchase the sales lady hung up on me. All I want was to get a 14W. On the back of the receipt it does say anything about you have to have the tags, it only talk about the receipt.

I visited your Dressbarn Store located on 5454 Sunset Blvd, in Lexington SC. I have been a customer for a long time (over 20 years). This is not the first time that I noticed the different in the way the staff treats African Americans vs Caucasians customers. Again, I experienced the same treatment yesterday. The staff will tell the Caucasians customers about all the deals, sales, and other information that will save them money on their purchase(s) but when a person of color is before them, they will not share that information with them. Yesterday, as I was standing behind a Caucasian customer who was purchasing one items, I waited over 10 minutes (although I had six items holding them in my hand) as the staff quietly begged this lady to just put in for a credit card so she could save on the item she was purchasing even though the customer refused many times but your staff continue to tell her how much she could save to the point that the customer gave in. Finally, I was able to pay for my purchase but your staff did not recommend any advise on how I could save on items I was buying. I will not no longer be a customer of Dressbarn and I will not recommend this store to my friends or anyone in the future. Customers should be treated equally and your staff should be more professional.

I purchased a blazer as a Christmas gift for someone in November, 2018. Unfortunately it did not fit the recipient. I tried to return it but was told I could not because it was 2 days after their return policy period. Their return policy is 60 days with apparently no exceptions and I had purchased the item 6 weeks before Christmas so I was 2 days after the 60-day period when I tried to return it. Their Christmas return policy is much more stringent and unreasonable than other stores in my area. I have been a Dress Barn customer for decades but because of this miserable experience I will never shop there again. Buyer beware! This company doesn't know the meaning of customer service.

My mom is a loyal customer and we go to that store constantly cuz she loves it and on 12/10/18 was my third time going with her, and also the thirt time they denied a coupon that we are about to used and they aren't polite to offer any help or anything to fix the issue. I was shopping today at your Elmira NY store for a dress for my daughters wedding. I was the only customer in the store at the time and there were three employees in the store at the time. Not one employee even greeted me or asked if they could help me. Apparently, I was not good enough for them to waste their time on me.

I was in the store at this location Sunday (10//21/18 at about 5:30pm. There were three sales ladies working in the store. The store wasn’t busy at all, at this time. I had three items that I wanted to try on, so I asked one of the sales ladies where the fitting was, and she directed me to it. As I entered the fitting room another sales lady, ( short with blond shoulder length hair) rushed in, I showed her that I had three items, when I closed the fitting door, she said,” what’s your name?”
I said,” are you talking to me?” She said, “yes”. I said, “Cheryl”. She said, “I’ll put your name down at the desk so if you need some help, someone can help you.” After I tired on the items, I brought them out, where all three sales ladies where standing around the desk talking. I walked to the blond sales lady, as I handed her the three items and said,” I thought you were going to help me, you asked me my name” “She said, “I was going to help you”. I said again, “ I thought you were going to help me, you asked me my name “ as I was walking out the store.
I never experience that kind of treatment and felt very uncomfortable, and that I was being racial profiled.

When I put them on on Saturday 1/27/2018 they were too big. On 1/30/18 at 7:30pm, when I brought them back Keshia an Tamara both scrutinized the shoes claiming I wore them outside. I can more than honestly say I did not and the bottom of the shoe reflects that is the thruth.

Both of them processed to wipe the shoe and tell me that I have cat hair all over the shoe (Which I don’t and I have a dog!). They also said well you had tissue in the shoe which is correct as I was trying to get them to fit as I wanted to wear them that night.

They both made me feel sick by the way they were making me feel like a lier. When it was made clear that they were not taking them back I said what am I doing to do with shoes to big for me. Their nasty comment back was “Give them to someone”

Management is very rude and has no customer service skills. This is at the Arundel Mills Dressbarn location, and the name of the person is Jessica. Thank you for looking into this matter ASAP. It's causing a lot of good people who wants to spend money not to come back.

I shop for my sister who has a broken foot. I go to the Aurora, Illinois store at the Chicago Premium Outlet. I go in pick things out for her and I return what she doesn't like. Every time I return what she didn't like the store manager cashier # 6 seems to process my return. She is never friendly and today she was even rudder than ever. I don't understand why? I have my receipt I use my dress barn card I shop there a lot. The clothes is not worn?

I am a plus size shopper and I was just at Dress Barn trying to find fall/winter clothes. I was deeply disappointed and shocked by the selection. The 'regular size' side of the store has all kinds of beautiful colorful dresses and tops - but the clothes on the 'plus' side are dark, frumpy and boring. Very offensive really.

I received a nice Dressbarn sweater as a gift for our anniversary. I noticed a flaw in the sweater and returned it to our local dress barn store . They would not take it without a receipt but it was a gift. They acknowledged the flaw n the tag stating it as a dress barn product but won't take it without a receipt. A gift is a gift and it is their product. All I want is another shirt or sweater no money. Dressbarn should honor their products and a flaw is a flaw. I'm not asking for anything but for them to back up their product. Is this asking too much? I've told my family to get individual gift receipts for all their holiday shopping so no one has to take a loss if something doesn't fit.

I have been shopping at dress barn for several years. I have to say within the last 6 months to a year, I find very cheaply made. The jeans are very cheap. I was going to purchase several tops today and fine very thin and cheap. One of my sweaters was black and all the seems where in white thread, which looked like it was riped. I do not understand the quality that is in store and the prrices are still the same. You need to get better product and keep same prices or lose customers.

I was attending my niece's (+ goddaughter) wedding, and she asked me to give Gospel reading at church so I wanted a special dress which I found at the Dressbarn store at Columbus Ohio. It was a Worthington navy blue dress, I then bought shoes and jewelry to match everything was perfect. So the day of I went to put on the dress and to my shock there was a security alert device still attached to the dress. I had no time to bring back the dress that same day.

I am really not a person who complains but this truly upset me and I had to rush around trying to figure out what to wear. I don't wear dresses I was forced to make do. Just please if you shop at Dressbarn make the salesclerk check for these things. And when I took the dress back the salesclerk thought it was funny and roles her eyes to the other clerk. Maybe I should call the Dressbarn CEO at corporate? I don't think he would think it's funny at all.

In the most recent Dressbarn circular sent to my home titled roz & ali they show and list a pair of shoes. They are number 8. When I went online to order them they do not exist. I went to my local Dressbarn store and they could not find them online or at any other store. What gives? I checked on the website and there is no good number listed for support! I guess they do not want my business?

I placed an order at Dressbarn's website and I was not provided a place to enter the promotional code to receive the 15% off. Also the site stated that shipping was free and I was charged for shipping. When I tried to find a phone number for Dressbarn support, they directed me to an automated support form. It would be great to get some help from another shopper! Please help me find their number so that this situation can be rectified.

I took a sweater for a return the lady at the Mira Mesa Blvd store refused to take it accused me of washing it even though it had the untouched attached ticket then said I bought at a different store and reused to exchange after she embarrassed me in front of everyone. Never again!

Went to dressbarn to exchange a barnd name that you carry. The fibers separated from the fabric and I didn't have receipt. This was the first time I washed it and there are holes in the rayon garment. The manager was difficult and said there was no way to do anything about this as she couldn't find a lot number. I do shop there often paying in cash and am very disappointed in your customer service. You had an almost duplicate item in the store! I paid around 36.00 dollars for this garment. What can you do?

I returned 3 dresses to Dressbarn for a total refund of $162.64 on 4/23/15. The money was to be refunded to my debit card, as of today (4/24/15) money has not been credited to my account. Upon calling about this, I was referred to customer service, they informed me that it takes 3 days to be credited and that is certainly not true in this day and time.

I had also bought a dress at another Dressbarn in a totally different location and returned it for a dress that was cheaper. The refund was credited the very same day, that being the case tells me that that is not true.

My dilemma is this, when I buy something with my card, it's taken from my account immediately. Why can't it be returned to me at same timeframe as its taken from me? This is very inconsistent. The store was #204 and #504. I am normally a Dressbarn customer. I think that I was treated unfairly. I will not patronize it again. Something is not kosher with your refund policies.

I bought some adorable jewelry, dresses and blouses from Dressbarn. Collection is simply too good. I get many compliments for the dresses I wear and thanks to Dressbarn for such awesome collection. They really are into the current fashion trends and know what comfort and style means to people. Keeping in mind this, their collections speak a lot. They have professional, stylish, casual wears with so much of variety to choose from. Sales reps are really very helpful and have shown me all that suits me and my personality and helped me decide the best. Thanks to Dressbarn I get lot of good compliments from my friends.
