A chain of American restaurants with its headquarters in Huntington Beach, California, BJ's Restaurants, Inc. was formed in 1983. Several of the chain's locations feature microbreweries that supply beer to the rest. Under the chain's name, Restaurants include BJ's Restaurant & Brewery and BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. There's also pizza, handcrafted beers, salads, sandwiches, and specialty desserts on the menu at BJ's. In 1978 by Mike Phillips and Bill Cunningham, BJ's Pizza first opened in Santa Ana, California, as BJ's Chicago Pizzeria. Paul Motenko and Jerry Hennessy acquired Phillips and Cunningham's company in 1991. Across their chain of 136 restaurants produced 60,000 barrels of beer in 2013.
