Hello, during one of my visits to Jared located in Watchung, New Jersey I experienced something very disturbing. This was a return visit to pick up my ring from the repair shop. The reason of the initial visit was to have the jewelry I purchased from Jared cleaned. During this process, the sales representative returned with my engagement ring stating it could not be cleaned because the prongs needed to be tighten around one of the diamonds. I left my ring for the repairs and three days later returned to pick up my ring. The sales rep retrieved my ring from the repair shop and proceeded with obtaining my signature for the release of my ring. Once this process was completed, she took pictures of my ring and stated a diamond was missing out of my ring. This was alarming news to me especially since the process of leaving my ring for repairs was to tighten the prongs. Jared is well known for its impeccable and outstanding reputation regarding fine and exquisive jewelry. Many items of jewelry was purchased at Jared. My husband will not go any where else. I don't understand how my ring was repaired, inspected and cleaned with a missing diamond and then released for customer pick up. It makes me wonder if the repairs actual took place during the original visit or perhaps the second time I had to leave it. We do have a lifetime protection on our wedding rings but I do not appreciate or would like to worry about my diamonds falling out due to a serious oversight from the repair shop at Jared. Now I can only wonder,based on this experience, Are all of my diamonds secured even if the Jared sales rep states they are. This experience was extremely disappointing and left questions for my husband and myself regarding future purchases for our upcoming wedding anniversary on July 20th.

purchaes a molvado watch on line for a present for my wife i have purchased at lease three thousand dollars of merchandise from you for-gift for my wife the molvado watch bracelet was to small went to your store in para-mus to get another link added your manger took care of us you must know she looked at me and my wife as if we couldn't afford such a watch she discriminated against us she looked at the watch then she demanded the receipt which we gave to her she told us she order the link. we call one week latter and her-response was that she had not hear from molvado with the email she sent??? when i spoke to her she she was very indifferent toward me as if she didn't care if the watch fit or not perhaps because she wasn't making a commission on that sale??????????????? shame on you for having such a person like her i guess you dont need much business hope you can get lots of business i dought with a person like her you can look at all the jewlery i purchased from you for my wife i guess you dont give a damn about people like myself buying from you remember your not the only place to buy Jewlry which my wife likes to purchased from you i will be returning the watch i purchased your manager didnt give a hoot so i expect the same from you those people that-represent you know you dont give a hoot either i jus wanted to bring it to your attention. my wife loved her watch your manger tried to force the fit and-hurt ny wife's wrist i knowa lot of people that buys from your store you people should be ashamed of yourself??????????????????? your manger made everything wrong on how she handledthis situation it was simple she made everything complicated because she wasnt making money on deal perhaps you desvere a person like her to represent you when i told her i would retune the watch she cared less what good people you have representing you perfect??????????????????????

I am standing in front of the Cerritos Jared, it is now 10:02. 3 employees just arrived. At 9:57 2 employees arrived and quickly passed by another waiting customer and myself. The older gentleman stated ad he walked by (Mike) we will be open in 15-20 minutes. I stated, “you don’t open at 10:00”. He replied (quite matter of fact) “not today” and disappeared into to store.

I would like to say I was so in love with Jared until Friday 3/22/19. I am a card holder. I pay my bills on time every single month, never late. I also put down the out of pocket cash on each and every item I purchased to prevent interest. I have spent a lot of money with Jared and I waited until every purchase was paid off before purchasing again so I wouldn't burden myself with a high bill. So on Friday I walk into the Jared Store in Watchung, NJ to purchase something for my daughter's birthday (who by the way, I encouraged her to get the Jared Credit Card and she too is a card holder) and the representative pulled up my account and saw that my jewelry needed inspection, 3 pairs of earrings, 2 rings, 1 bracelet.

I gave her my jewelry to inspect and she noticed 4 diamonds missing out of my diamond bracelet and stated she sees more that are loose and would eventually fall out as well and I should get them fixed. I asked her if she could fix the loose diamonds for me so I do not lose them and I was denied that service. I asked her why and she stated I have to purchase the missing diamonds first before they would tighten up the loose prongs on the others. That is absurd. I felt like I was being put on punishment.

Now I could see if the diamonds belongs to Jared and I lost them, but they were mine, the whole bracelet was mine, paid off and everything. If I lose my own diamonds that's just my lost but I was trying to prevent losing more and they did not assist me at all, instead, they handed me the diamond bracelet back and told me if I continue to wear it I will lose more diamonds. So now, I can't even wear my bracelet.

That was poor service. Very Poor! Not to mention, I still purchased my new bracelet and a pair of earrings for my daughter and yes they took my money without even taking into consideration my loyalty to Jared. I also put in an order for an earring that I lost and would love to have one made or ordered. I know it's going to cost me money but loyalty goes a long way but not with Jared. What ever happened to your mission statement? "We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in our relationship with you, our client. We endeavor to know and understand your financial situation and provide you with only the highest quality information, services, and products to help you reach your goals." It's not like I asked them to put the new diamonds in the bracelet

The ticket shows 4 diamonds missing and it looks like it states $288.00 retail ea. They want me to buy diamonds before they help me save the rest. All I asked them to do is help me save the rest. I have attached the photo. Thank you for your time and consideration.

The Jared’s card was credited, however we discovered later that we didn’t receive the full refund when we got a bill for interest. It then escalated into a penalty and was reported to the Credit Bureau! I called yesterday again and they waived some of the fees but I had to pay $27.63 in order to get the account current so that they can send an updated report the the credit bureau. That is really bogus that I had to pay even that small amount just to make sure my good credit isn’t impaired. I think Jared’s should refund me back for the hassle!

I ordered a custom bracelet on February 10th for my mother in law's 50th birthday. I received an email saying that it would be delivered by February 26th. A few days before the twentysixth I received an email saying the package had been returned to sender so I called Jared's to see what was going on. I was given the run around for a week and instead of making a new bracelet and sending it out to ensure that I would have it for the party they just constantly gave me the run around. Needless to say I did not have the bracelet for the party and had to come up with another gift after spending a $150 on the bracelet.

Good Afternoon,

Your assistance is needed regarding the issue that I have with the last ring that I purchased. Several diamonds from my wife’s wedding ring was lost because three prongs on the ring broke. My attempt to resolve this matter at Rockville location was a disappointment. The manager AJ stated “because, my wife did not utilize Jared’s six month inspection policy”. I understand your policy, but am hoping that you can assist. I have valued the service, as well, as the product of Jared’s Jewelry since the organization originally open its doors in Tyson Corner years ago. I am not an individual with extreme wealth. I am an active duty service member trying to provide my wife of 23 year. My goal was to provide my wife a ring that for supporting me during my military career and to provide her a symbol of the completion for the successful chemotherapy for breast cancer. The ring symbolized a new start. I am not making excuses for not getting the ring inspected; however, I would like to plead my case and seek your assistance because during this time, my primary goal was the health of my wife.

I would like to know if you are able to replace the ring or allow me to replace at a reduced cost.

I look forward to working with you to resolve this matter.

Poor customer service by ur manager. Sunday 12/16. No wonder u only rate 1 star. I am a preferred customer because my husband bought me a ring from Jared $$$$$$ I went to buy a watch for $187.50 which needed to be $200 to use the coupon $100 off $200. So the sales clerk suggested a bear for $13 so now my total is $214.85. When she tried to ring my order she had a problem & called the mgr. the mgr told her to relay to me that the bear is for charity so I could not use my coupon !!!!! The mgr did not have the decency to talk to me directly. So I said I wasn’t buying the watch if I couldn’t use the coupon Her response was pretty much. “Oh well”!!!!!! Really.????? I left the store because my principles would not allow me to be treated like that. So now you not only lost a sale that day!!!!! Use lost a customer forever!!!!!!

Very rude and no communication to call and let me know an order couldn’t be completed because it wasn’t available. also told lady found out about that online and she told me online and the store are two different things and then she found out it was true and i knew what i was talking about

I PURCHASED A RING SET FOR MY WIFE FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY AND WAS TOLD THAT I COULD GET A CREDIT CARD SAME AS CASH IF I WAS APPROVED, WHICH I WAS. THE MANAGER NAME WHICH WAS MARY AND HER SALES REP EUGENE MILLER DID NOT WANT TO HELP ME . THEY TREATED ME AS IF I DID NOT BELONG OR COULD NOT AFFORD ANYTHING IN THE STORE. A YOUNG LADY BY THE NAME OF BRIANNA CAME TO HELP ME AND I ACTUALLY MADE A PURCHASE WHICH WAS TOLD TO ME BY MR. MILLER THAT THE CREDIT CARD WAS 12 MONTHS SAME AS CASH. WELL UPON GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THE COMPANY, I RECEIVED ONE ITEM 4 WEEKS AFTER THE PURCHASE DATE AND THE LAST ITEM A MONTH AND A HALF AFTER THE PURCHASE DATE. THE ITEMS WERE NEVER WORN. UPON PAYING MY BILLS, I NOTICE THAT I WAS BEING CHARGED INTEREST AND WHEN I CALL TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE BILL I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS NOT ON THE PROMOTION 12 MONTHS SAME AS CASH. I DID A CONFERENCE CALL WITH THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY, MYSELF, MY WIFE, AND THE JARED STORE MANAGER, MARY. MARY GAVE THE PHONE TO BRIANNA BECAUSE SHE DID NOT WANT TO TALK TO US. FIRST SHE TOLD US THAT WE COULD RETURNED THE MERCHANDISE , THEN SHE STATED THAT WE COULD NOT RETURN THE ITEM. THE REP TOLD HER THAT SHE DID NOT SAY THAT AND THAT SHE IS CHANGING HER WORDS AND THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE LEVEL WAS NOT BEING MEET AND HOW RUDE SHE WAS. MARY STATED THAT SHE DID NOT HAVE TIME TO TALK ABOUT THIS NONSENSE AND THAT SHE WAS GETTING OFF THE PHONE. THEN SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE. I ACTUALLY HAVE THE WHOLE CONVERSATION RECORDED AND HE RACE CARD WAS PLAYED AS SOON AS I WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR AND ASKED FOR HELP. I HAVE BEEN TREATED LIKE I WAS NOT A HUMAN ESPECIALLY AFTER SPENDING OVER SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS WITHIN THE STORE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. YOU CAN REACH ME AT 901-691-6365.

Was very excited today when my husband and I went to Palm Beach Lakes Blvd outlet mall to shop at Jared.
We purchased a Diamond Anniversary Band 3/4 carat, princess-cut, hearts desire, 18k white gold ring.
The original price was $2699.99. This location was 50% off, but Sue said she could reduce to $1282.
Wasn't I surprised when I found the exact ring on-line for $829.99. $452 less than we paid in an outlet store!! Needless to say, I feel screwed!
I realize there is a price difference between in-store vs internet, but $452 more?
My fault for not researching the ring before we purchased it, shame on me!
But, YOU, screwing over your customers, shame on you!
I will be spreading the word on social media and to anyone who will listen, how Jared treats their customers.
Seriously disappointed in my Jared experience!

I completed a credit application at the Jared, Lithonia Ga. location.
My personal information was not kept secure. Jared allowed a sales associate to access to my personal information. .
The Jared associate called me at my home. 3x To ask me if I would loan him money.
I think this is so unfair. I trusted Jared with my information. I feel so violated.
I have never experienced anything similar to this in my life. I have completed countless credit apps. No one has ever called me to ask for a loan, based on my credit application. Or any other reason. This should not have happened. The additional insult, is when the Jared District Manager informed me. I am not the first customer this employee has done this to. Wow! this is just not fair. The stress this has caused in my life.
My wife is upset with the compromise of our personal information. She blames me, she think I know the Associate. She can't believe a store employee would call a customer at home. to ask for a $1000.00 loan. She thinks something under handed is going on.
Why? Jared Why? A fun day of shopping has become years of heartache. Thanks for bringing stress, undue stress into my marriage.
My wife won't even wear the gift I got her. Yes... I went to Jared. What a mistake I have made.

My daughter had her Pandora heart clasp bracelet on and as we were out shopping, when we got home the bracelet had fallen off her wrist. After searching the shopping area and reporting it to shopping centre security we are not surprised to be told nothing handed in. I am very disappointed that the bracelet fell off her wrist for the money your customers pay for your goods I expect better quality. Due to the charms each having a meaning I have now got to try and replace. A very disappointed customer

I have always enjoyed shopping at Jared, but lately their prices seem much higher than usual. Their sales tactics also cause me to question shopping their.
