WingStreet is an American restaurant chain that specializes in chicken. Besides Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and KFC, Yum! Brands also own Pizza Hut. The number of locations in the United States and Canada has reached close to 5,000 as of March 2014. They are always co-located with Pizza Hut.
WingStreet was launched by Yum! in 2003 as a hybrid unit with a Pizza Hut franchise. A Pizza Hut/WingStreet restaurant opened its 1,000th location in 2007. There were 1,000 WingStreet stores opened each year between 2007 and 2008. In October 2009, Scott Bergren announced WingStreet's national launch. Over 4,000 new locations will be opened by 2010, according to the chain.
