Stop and Shop were established by the Rabinowitz family in 1914 as the Economy grocery store company situated in Quincy, Massachusetts. After a few years, they present the new Self Service supermarket model. To develop their business they began selling frozen food, dairy products, meat along other grocery products. They begin developing by leaps and bound and there were 86 stores by the year 1946. Shop and stop is the subsidiary of Ahold Delhaize that serves people in the United States. They have expanded to 415 stores and are divided into two regional groups.
