Walmart Complaints Continued... (Page 27)
1684+ reviews added so far. Upset? Call Walmart corporate: 1-800-WALMARTI was at the walmart on old national and i really just wanted to walk back out or personally speak to a manager about my service. First walking into the walmart bathroom I was utterly displeased tissue was everywhere no toilet paper water was all over the place and the stalls was disgusting. I went ti the electronic section with my sister to get a tablet and had to wait hours just to even get someone for service then had to wait another half hour just for them to come over. On top. Of that there were no grocery carts I had to go outside in the rain in the Parking lot. lot to get one i need yall to get it together all these new hired employees it should not look like this.
Walmart has the worst customer service. They take forever to answer the phones. when they do, they transferr you to the right department while your in mid sentience and all you here is "one moment" They soound as if you have just ruined their entire day with your phone call. Its not professional . Walmart seems to hire anybody these days. S....A....D
Trying to call to see about an ordered item and get stuck on hold for long periods of time and calling back over and over and over and over again with nothing accomplished. Then speaking with the manager about issue to be insulted by them and rudely hung up on. This is unacceptable behavior. This manager's name is Jennifer. This happened around 3;30 p.m. on February 21 2015.
I had Walmart / Family Mobile for over a year on two seperate telephones and the service was never 100%, dropped calls and messages missed. My real problem is when you try to contact the company for any reason a non-english speaking or understanding person most likely in another country would answer the call and have difficulty understanding me or I would not understand the person. Recently I decided to replace with another carrier and I ported my telephones and called to say I was leaving Family Mobile. My problem was the person on the other end of the line and trying to get the idea I was leaving the plan.
He in this case was only interested in telling me I was overdue for my monthly payment and I tried to explain I knew that and was really a week overdue and would wait to get the final bill in order to reach the correct amount. I am too old to fool around with my credit and take my score very seriously. I had the new carrier port my number. I paid the Family Mobile bill the next day and and felt all was well! Big mistake now Family Mobile wants another $88.00 for not reporting my cancellation. I have filed a protest with the FCC and will file one with BBB today, this kind of treatment should be reported every time a customer is billed for the companies incompent employees.
We purchased a Visio "60" TV April 25th 2014 and brought a three year service plan in addition to a one year manufactures warranty. Unfortunately, after ten months the TV broke down. We called it to be serviced through Visio, who put us through to HDTV tech working with a contract company named Diversified TV. After, constant back and forth, repeatedly given rhetoric about the inability to service, this TV due to a height requirement (cannot service if, TV is higher than 5 ft. from floor) that was never disclosed when TV was purchased. Nor at time of sale when we also paid for TV to be mounted.
My husband and I both have disabilities and repeatedly informed these people (Diversified TV), that we were unable to unmount the TV. Had we known of this stipulation, we would have not opted to pay for it to be mounted in the first place. And to raise a question, if Walmart and all parties connected with service of such items, sell these items which the majority of the time are brought to be mounted, how do those who have disabilities, get properly serviced with these items. If the stipulation is in placed? Being, again unaware of this Height requirement, that was not disclosed at Point of Sale. I feel this is a breach of contract, or a misrepresentation of services, if you purchase an extended warranty on an item, in addition to the manufactures warranty, only to find when said services are requested, there are stipulation that weren't mention at time of sale.
It has been very disheartening process in addition to dealing with unprofessional people who seemingly, will hide behind a policy that needs to be revamped and revised. Shame on Walmart, Visio, Diversified TV and everyone connected with this idiotic policy, that doesn’t provide allowances for those who have disabilities. Or unable to physically, remove a TV purchased. I have shopped at Walmart for years and never dealt with a travesty of this multitude.
I need someone to contact me in reference to my visa prepaid debit card I can not get a resolution or any kind of help from any representatives at 8779374098. I have no been able to use my card or get my money off of it there has also been transactions made that was not made by me and I do not understand how because they put a block on my card on feb. 2 due to suspicious activity and was suppose to mail me a new card which I still have not received. I called on feb 16 to see what the status was on my new card and checked the balance of the card and it had a zero balance and it should of had 178.00 dollars on it. The hold was put on the card feb 2 I have not been able or made any transactions since then I asked that the hold be removed back on the second and they informed me they could not do that I would have to wait for my new card. I have spoke with three or four different reps and I have asked all of them to let me speak to someone that is higher than them so I could get this resolved and I am always told there is no one else I can speak with. I need to be contacted by someone who can help me get my money back and problem resolved I do not want to have to take further actions. Your help is greatly appreciated thank you.
The Big Spring Texas WalMart charges more for everything than other WalMarts and is always out of products. They told us they sold all the distilled water to the local Prison because they could make more money. They could order more for the prison and still have enough for the public. The are always out of products and the frozen food section is a disgrace. They just stack in the frozen food and you can't see the front of the product. It makes for a very unpleasant shopping experience and they are always short of cashiers.
After standing in line for over one hour it is now my turn then I find out that the Walmart Nikon black friday cameras that are on sale they only have 2 in stock. I was livid this is the most stupid thing that a store can do to a consumer ready to spend cash not a credit card purchase. The store was in Gonzales, Louisiana and it will be a long time before I spend my money there again, Walmart black friday is a huge scam and I won't stand in line like this ever again.
Was at Walmart in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Tried to purchase alchohol. Had my 25-year-old daughter with me. They would not sell me the alcohol because she did not have her id. This was ridiculous since it was obvious we were two grown women. I understand this is a Walmart policy. After visiting with the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission and revieiwing their regulations and statutes, the state law is only concered with the purchaser. No where does it mention they have a duty to check id of anyone with the purchaser. Also statute 53-168.06 states "Nothing in the act shall prevent (1) the possession of alcoholic liquor legally obtained as provided in the act for the personal use of the possessor and his or her family and guests." If I have legaly purchased this alcohol and take it home to share with my daughter (who is 25, by the way), state law says I have every right to do so. By preventing me from buying this alchohol, Walmart is infringing on my right.
And the person making the judgment call on whether or not the person looks of age is the clerk. That is also a concern. You can't convince me that they are being fair and consistent in assessing someone's age. This policy will cost them business. I will not do business there again.
My boyfriend wanted to pay he's Wal-Mart credit card off so he got a cashiers check and went to customer service to pay it. The customer service lady would not take the check. She said it was against their policy to accept cashier checks. Yes my boyfriend got upset because now he had a large cashiver check he couldn't use. When he said he wouldn't do business with Wal-Mart anymore she told him "well you have to do what you have to do" ever since that day he refuses to shop at Wal-Mart. This bothers me because I usr to like shopping there. I wish Wal-Mart wiukd do something to fix this problem so he would be willing to go back. Ps we did mail check in and the corporate headquarters had no problems takuing the money
I have been meaning to write you to complain about your Dunvale store in Houston, TX for quite some time, but yesterday's
rudeness to my wife was the last straw. The store is filthy and there seems to be no interest in keeping it clean or orderly. This is an anomaly among most of the Walmart stores I have visited across the country. Unfortunately it is the nearest one to my home, but I'm off to Target today and Walmart Dunvale is on my don't go list. We have shopped at Walmart since there was a Walmart, but we are now willing to pay more to avoid your "dump" on Dunvale St. This cannot have escaped the purview of Walmart management, so my conclusion is that you don't care. With as many people who are out of work, I can't understand how you manage to take the worst of the worst to employ in this store. I am happy with our decision to stay out of it from now on.
Done with Dunvale
On January 2, 2013, I went to the Walmart store 1672 in Ashland, WI to buy winter tires. I already had Wrangler all season tires but I wanted two snow tires for the back wheels as I do not have 4 wheel drive. I was sold two Bridgestone Dueler RVT tires as snow tires. When I went to Walmart today to have my snow tires taken off and replaced with the one year old Wranglers, I was told that I didn't have snow tires, the Duelers were all season radials. Walmart misrepresented the tires and I would not have bought them if I had known they were about the same as what I already had on the truck.
i have not been shopping on black friday since 1989. however you advertized 2 things that i really needed and wanted, on sale thursday. i read the advertizement and one item( the 5 gallon shop vac, was available at 8:00pm). i got that item at 8:00pm. the other item was the 40" tv available at 10pm. i got in line at 8:30pm ready to stand in line for the 1.5 hours to ensure my spot. my daughter wentup to the sales person to make sure i was in the correct spot and was informed that all the tv's were sold out. now how in the world can you advertize an item available at 10pm-11pm when they are already gone at 8:30pm. this happened in waycross georgia, walmart has shown me that their integrety is poor in this store and i never shop where customers not valued. if i as a customer try to follow the rules of the sale so should walmart. i am very disappointed in walmart. i expected more.
Wallmart in all its wisdom has decided to discontinue the grey colored Dikies brand work pants. Now the only choice in color remaining is the dark navy and black two colors very similar to each other so really just one choice.
These are work pants and I use them for such for the past many years. As a painter, drywaller and plasterer my employees and I use light colored clothing so the dust doesn't stand out as well giving the impression we still look clean as the day wears on. The grey color works perfect for us. Also in the hot summer months when plastering outdoors the grey colored (or lighter colored clothing) keeps us cooler by attracting less heat.
Walmart advertises great selection but I'm not seeing it in this case. I was in the local Walmart the other day looking for an electric shaver, the selection about a dozen or more types.
If this is all about bottom line only then I and my employees have no choice but to shop at Mark's Work Warehouse.
I say my employees because due to the nature of our work I supply the with 4 pair of work pants per year x 12 employees.
I've been doing this for 10 years now and will need a new supplier as your dark colors just won't cut it.
My question is are you planning on bringing the grey pants back if so when and I will hold off looking for another suppier for one more month.
This is not the first time I have had this problem with the Walmart Pharmacy in Corsicana, TX. We called our prescriptions in on 1/22/13 to make sure they would be ready when we came to shop on thursday 1/24/13. We recieved a call on 1/23/13 to say all 3 prescriptions were ready. We got the recording but my husband pushed the number to talk to an associate and they confirmed that the order was ready. We got to the store at 11:45 am and went right to the pharmacy. The associate told us that 1 of the prescriptions was not ready. Of course I was frustrated but asked how long it would take to fill the order. She said 10 minutes. I said fine we would do our shopping and return. We came back to the pharmacy at 12:30 and again were told it was not ready. I asked to speak to the manager Choizie and he told me it was because the medicine just came in this morning. Why would I get a call saying it is ready if the medications are not even on site? We live 45 minutes away so I can't just run back and forth. My husband is disabled and was with me and was in lots of pain so I don't appreciate having to wait. We finally got the order filled at 1:03 pm. This store is also the worst I have ever seen for customer serivce and having stock on hand. Every time I get to buying an item I like, they quit stocking it! If I had any other choice of stores I could afford to shop at I would never enter this store again!!!
As a lawyer I was shocked when the temporary manager at the San Marcos Texas Walmart refused to let me return a Soundbar Sunday morning at about 9:30. In discussing this with her she was rude and called me "ham and Cheese" inferring that I'm fat. As I'm 6'4" an portly I was shocked. She refused to discuss anything with me and simplywalked away. The video of the conversation would show that there were no others in line and I was not rude to her. Simply put while this is. Stressful time this is no way to treat a customer. Calling a portly
Jewish person like me ham and cheese is not only disrespectful it amounts to more violations of your corporate policy as well as violates numerous state and federal discrimination laws that the associates at my firm will be looking into unless I get a simple apology from this manager. She was about 5''4 thin with spivey black hair and appeared to be Hispanic
I had taken Ciprofloxacin that was filled at Walgreens on Sunday 11/04/12 for Kidney Infection. Later that day, I was in severe leg pain. I had my 19 year old son speak on my behalf since I was medicated. I told him to ask if there were side affects on the Cipro, I was having severe leg pain, cramping and if it was related to Cipro. They told my son that the medicine shouldn't be the cause of my pain. For the next three days I continued with the severe pain but took ibuprofen to relieve some of the pain. By Tuesday night I broke out with very painful sores in my mouth. First thing Wednesday morning, I once again called Walgreen (Scarsdale location 281-484-6118) spoke to the pharmacist, told her of my sores.
She said that it shouldn't be related to Cipro, I asked, your saying there are no side effects when taking this medication. She stated, well there and swelling of the mouth is one, I asked well sores would be considered swelling? She said not really but you should call your doctor. Which I did, my doctor stated I was having severe allergic reactions to this medication and I needed to go to the ER immediately because I was going into anaphylaxis shock. I needed to take benadryl immediately but recommended I go straight to the ER. Being that I was at work and had a 45 minute drive, I contacted Walgreens again and told them what my doctor recommended. And asked if there was something else other then Benadryl that was non-drowsy.
She stated Claritin is similar and could take that. I also let her know that I couldn't believe I was given incorrect information regarding the side affects of Cipro. I stated, I was having muscle pain on Sunday and contacted your pharmacists and they said it was not a side effect. She said, oh yes I was next to the pharmacist who took your call and we did tell your son to call us back if you had further issues. I said, that was one of the main issues and you said that was not a side effect. I also let her know that I had just looked up the medication on-line where it stated to stop taking medication immediately if you have pain, the very first symptom was muscle pain.
Furthermore, this was the second time I had an issue with Walgreens, a while back they had given me another persons high blood pressure medication but I let it slide. In the end, I ended up in the ER and was treated for anaphylaxis shock.
The higher manager scolded at me saying they will not accept any coupons from me because they were fraud. My coupons are not fraud they are straight out of the newspaper. 2nd they saidsaid my price match does not match any of the sales because I am not suppose to get money back, but it states in your policy if the coupons if more then the sale product the rest can roll over to my whole transaction and I can recieve cash for any left over. It said unlimited coupons on your policy and they told me I cut and paste policy because they could not find that saying in the policy.
Your policy said that I dont have to bring my ad they said the policy never says that. I dont feel free when I go to shop at walmart, I feel like I am being watched by all the high managers and regular managers. Everytime I come to the cashier they have one manager watch my whole transaction and I feel wrongfully accused. I feel like a criminal when they treat me this way.
Yes I can go to a different store or walmart but this walmart at Porter Ranch is the closest one and more convinient one to me where I can go in and shop at 1 store verses many different stores. I have been shopping there for 6 months and always something different with me and beginning to take it personally I have put up with them for 6 months and now to the point where I feel threaghtened to even walk into walmart and that aint right. The cashiers are very kind to me and most managers.
They are always complaining why I go to the same cashier and its because that same cashier always treat me as a nice person and does not make me feel unwanted. I dont always go to this one cashier but when she is there I choose her rather than anyone that does not smile and welcomes the customer. I have witness on how bad the managers and high managers of this walmart treats me and one cashier quit I thinkn because of this, they dont only treat me bad but they did to that specific cashier and we were beinginning it was the jealous of not knowing how to coupon or our race. I am not doing anything wrong they claim they loose money because my coupons which is a lie because they are real coupons.
I went to walmart in clarksville ar, asked the ladies behind the counter if i bought money grams (2) of them, if the person i was sending them to would have trouble cashing them at a Tennessee walmart, (union city tennessee), and they said no. well, she went to cash them yesterday on feb 25th, 2013, and there system said they were stolen, that is crap because i bought them and sent them to her. she had to go somewhere else to cash the money grams that i bought from your store, they charged here 105 dollars to do that also. I want the 105 dollars back, even if you have to give it to me in a walmart card, because that is not right. I went through all the steps that i was supposed to before i even bought them and sent them. The store in tennesse was wrong. I have the reciepts and i am keeping them to show proof that i bought them on what day and who sold them to me. I want this taken care of in a timely matter also.
I moved into this area a few weeks ago and started using this Walmart store. I have been in the store about 7 times and spent serveral hundred dollars. At least 4 of the times the checkout times was extreamly long with something going wrong at the register and I spent as much as 35 minutes in the check out line. I went there tonight and ended up changing lanes 3 times because of delays in lines. I was in this one lane about 5 minutes and it got to the point that there was only 1 person in line ahead of me when the girl at the register turned off the light and motioned me to another line.
This was the final draw, I parked the cart over to the side and walked out leaving the food and other products in the cart. Â I have managed a retail store for the last 28 years and I would have fired any employee that did that to a customer. My experience with this store is that it has very poor management. I have been in the sporting goods department and the carera department and waited for 15 minutes before someone came to help me. Many customers left with disgust and I should have too. There are many items not priced at all thruout the store, especially the power tools and that entire section.
You can never get anyone to help you and the staff are very rude. They never apoligize for delays in the line at all. I have said all that I am going to but I will never go in another Walmart store because of the last 2 weeks. I feel that giving them 2 weeks is more than enough.
Walmart 5400 Phillips Hwy, Jacksonville FL 32207
The store and bathrooms are filthy. The clerks never wipe the counters off by the registers. I hate to lay my groceries down so end up holding the items until they are checked and put in bag. Secondly, the store is the worst stocked in the area. We drive 30 miles one way to do our monthly grocery shopping because we can't get what we want at the Okmulgee, Oklahoma 74447 store. We went there today to try to shop and we get upset everytime we go there. We end up having to drive else where to finish our shopping. Example (frozen breaded Okra) I was told they no longer carry it and to complain to Head Office, so that is what I am doing Surely, something can be done about these issues. Thank you.
How dare you take people away from thier families on Thanksgiving. Especially when i know all you big wigs making 6 figures a year are off spending it with your familiee. This is a disgrace. Families have so little time together but to take moms and dads away on the holiday. I am totally disgusted with you all. I hope walmart crashes and you are all unemployed within a year. I know you pay your employees very little and treat them badly and you all make your big saleries off your little people who work in the stores. You are all trash every one of you. No family values practices at walmart that is for sure i was promised a trampoline for black friday i had a ticket a CSS or that was she was being called her name was michelle give the ticket.
A backroom associate in the Twin Falls walmart named andrew has been very rude to me and my friends when we have gone into the store. He also makes rude comments about my daughter and my husband! I am sick of going into walmart here and getting treated poorly by him. I have never met him before I went to walmart so there is no reason he should be saying these things!!
To Whom it may concern at Walmart: to start I'd just like to let you know I have no complaint about walmart in fact I'm a very loyal customer and I love the low prices, I just wanted to say I purchased a cosco sway n play swing there in the process of moving so I couldnt return it after I lost my reciept and box during the move when i realized it didn't work. The swing would turn off after a few seconds of turning it on and never worked for me, I know it must have been a faulty swing and I paid about 60 dollars for it, I know I cant get a refund now but i thought maybe you could atleast give me back something like a small amount on a gift card for the trouble if not thats ok I just wanted to tell you about the faulty swing i never got to use. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter, your customer, Jennifer Gomez P.s. my address is 466 Doxey street, Ogden, UT, 84403
On March 18,2013 I went to the Walmart Store on East Franklin Blvd. I am a regular customer at this store. I was in line and the cashier had 2 customers in front of me. Each customer was doing price matching and not one time was an ad presented to the cashier. Both of these customers were caucasion. As I approached the counter the cashier and another cashier both pulled out store ads and the first thing she says is "What are you price matching today? I looked at her and said how did you know that I was price matching. According to the tv advertisement you dont need an ad for price matching, so with me being a black female there was discrimination shown. I am in the process of seeking legal action in this matter because I feel that as a loyal customer my rights were as a person were denied.
went to store#5166 in deming, nm...stackout cuervo tequila w/mix(2 bottles) listed at $13.47 on display stackout. when i got home i seen it scanned at $16.38..wen t back 2 days later to shop and took receipt to customer service. was told they could not do a price change on alcohol. when i questioned this i was told it was a federal law...not wanting to argue i threw up my receipt. as i was sitting at home fuming i need to say this. i was a liquor store manager in the state controlled wine and spirits stores for 15 years. there is no federal law for this. if the same would happen at any of our state stores the manage would go to the s/o, and scan the upc and do a price check. if it was scanning higher then the sale price the customer was given the $ difference and the upc price changed so they reflected the correct price..after spending about $400.00 a month in walmarts i find this practice appalling. at least tell your associates to use a better lie!!!
I was at West Midland Walmart and once. Very badly by one of your employees that is collecting shopping carts. I was waiting on somebody that handicapped had my car motor running my flashers on she got very nasty with me I also called to talk to the manager talked to her on the phone and she was about just nasty this happened around two o'clock in the afternoon on February 3 you need to program on how to treat customers are waiting in bad weather for somebody that is handicapped. Sincerely Your Mr. Edward Hess 4918 Roberta Dr., Pittsburgh 1526 Pennsylvania a number 412 â 897 â 0877 . Very discussed customer
I just left Walmart in Darien, IL. and found the service terrible. There was only 3 cashiers working and the lines were very long. One cashier left and when someone came up , all she said was, " I'm closed". She could care less that customers where in line for just one item! I went to service desk to speak to the manager and after 2 calls she told the cashier what did I want! I am so sick of people with no work ethics. I see why the unemployment is high. People don't want to work.
I purchased a vehicle connector 7 blade #48480 when i bought my pop up camper around the end of August. Unfortunalety it did not fit. it had been laying around in my house for a few months and i decided to take it back for a in store credit since i didnt have my receipt. i did have the debit card that i used to purchase this item though that could have been pulled up by the customoer service rep that i spoke with. Her name is Jessica ( she would not disclose her last name. She said since the item no. did not pull up on her computer that she could do nothing for me. She calleds her manager over from my request. Her name is Kelsey. ( no last name given to me either) She was very blatant and unhelpful as well. they wouldnt even consider looking up the debit card that i had used to purchase this item. They were extremely unprofessional and not very kind to me. i walked back to the automotive dept to check and see if they did in fact have this item still. they did but it showed a different Item no. than 48480. i shop at this particular Walmar on a regular basis. No other Walmart do i shop at. Storn number 3566 on Hampen Ave . in Denver CO. i feel as though i was treated with disrespect and basically spit out by the customer service rep and the manager. I am having 2nd thoughts now on if i should even spend my money at Walmart anymore. i believe that everyone should be treated fairly. I would apprecitate a reply to my email if you have the time. Thank you for listening. Melissa Daniels.
I'm trying to locate items at the store on charleston and Decatur and several employees said they would call a CSM for assistance I waited 20+minutes and still nobody came to help employees had no idea where items were couldn't tell me if they even carried the product this is the worst wal Matt I've ever been too. I can't believe the lack of service it's absolutely disgusting
My wife and I travel all over Texas doing shows on weekends. The common denominator in every town we go to is WalMart. We were in Midland TX ( Hwy 349) this weekend and of course needed to go to WalMart and pick up a few items. Isle after isle had stuff laying on the bottom shelf, every third hook was empty, many items were hung under the wrong description. My wife made a left and I made a right. When we met back up she was amazed to hear me say these things as she was thinking the same thing. We normally don't comment on stuff like this but this store is so mismanaged.
When I did find my items, I made my way to the front to discover fifteen people waiting to check out in front of me. I looked down the entire front of the store to see the same thing at every checkout register. All the way out to the first row of merchandise. I was at the self serve checkout. Two were working the rest were broken. I waited about 10 minutes (probably less) l layed my stuff down and walked out. I have never seen a WalMart in this condition. I don't think I will go back to this store. Believe me I don't ever do this kind of thing. I guess my question is. What the heck is going on in Midland TX WalMart?
In October 2012 one evening,i made an unexpected routine visit to the Walmart in Clewiston,FL.unlike other visits i have made many times before.this one has been very troubling. I was in the store nomore than 30-40 minut . Sometime during my shopping visit,my money was lost in the store. It was in my pocket,i did not visit any bathrooms or fitting rooms. I do not carry a wallet or purse. I had in my possession when i entered the store. The currency was as follows,2twenty,1ten&5ones total amount$55. I made a report (local police),the Walmart night manager, and was told someone would contact me about this matter. I contacted the store&p.d a few more times myself before i contacted a Walmart rep.on the 1-800 Walmart numbet, there should be some kind of proof that i did. Till this day nothing has been done to resolve this matter. Till this day i haven't heard anything else back from Walmart or the local p.d regarding this matter. Is there anything that can be done? Is this matter able to be corrected?
I went into the Amsterdam, N.Y. Walmart to purchase printer paper, but I could not find any. I found the Office Supply section, BUT to my amazement there was none to be found. Clearly this was because of all of the Valentines stock that was put out. So I proceeded to try to locate an associate, but guess what? I could not find one of those either.
Then I remembered that I needed to pick up a cable for a DVD player. I wasn't sure of the correct one , so again I tried to locate an associate in the Electronics Department, but, you guessed it, there was none to be found. If I tried to rob the store I bet I would have found a bunch. So now I'm really irritated, so I went to the Customer Service Department; but no one was there.
Big surprise! With this I walked out of the store and went to Target's. I purchased my paper and cable there. If I was a store manager I would be very upset at hearing this. I feel the store manager should be fired and get someone in there that cares. And just so you know, I am spreading the word to family and friends. I will also NOT step foot in that store again.
I'm 62-Watch income so when Walmart has the bins full of $5 DVD's I buy. Have tons of DVD's this way. Purchased one started to watch, but into program stopped and would not play. My dvd is fine, as put several others in to make sure. Have never had any problems before. Took my DVD with receipt to Store - Walmart on Hudson - Woodbury, MN to get refund and was told that once opened cannot get my $5 back. Sears, Target and anyone else does same. I asked - Then how does a person know if DVD works if they don't play it? Told same thing. Had to Exchange for same. Went to look for same but not available now. This is wrong. You just stole my small $5 from me. If you are doing this to me, how many others lose their $5 across this country. I want my $5 plus tax tack. I shop at Walmart all the time for your good prices and sure didn't expect to be treated this way.
I bought a large dutch apple pie to serve to some guests, and when sliced, put on plates, handed out and some guests had already taken bites, others started noticing movement on their plates. Little black beetles were emerging from the Apple filling. This was totally disgusting and some of my guests said as much and left my house. I went back to Wal-Mart simply to inform them so no one else would get bugs in their pie and was told that I should have brought the pie back. I informed them that I wasn't about to bring bugs into a food store and was told that they could not therefore do anything about this matter.
Store #2717 Manager Celeste Buhl TC# 6035 3830 1514 9034 6554 date 01/19/2013 time 05:47:37 a.m. I paid for a Razor Sling (Rifle Sling) item 005105790040. I was charged $10.97. I did not receive the item. I bought one other item, a loaf of bread.
I received a bag with a loaf of bread in it. Either the cashier improperly placed the rifle sling in the bag in a haphazard manner or she did not put it in a bag or she took it out. I took the bag after I checked out and I put in the passenger seat. I was parked just outside the door entrance. I did not notice or hear anything fall out. If the cashier had placed the bread on top of the sling it could not have fallen out. She should have placed each item in a separate bag.
When I arrived at my hunting destination while I was still in my car I attempted to locate the rifle sling. It was not in my vehicle and I had not removed the bag. I did not leave Walmart's premises with the rifle sling. I returned that same day after 7pm and reported the missing item.
An employee named Ray offered me no assistance. In addition to the missing item, the cashier was rude and complained about having her break interrupted to wait on me. It took longer to check out than to find the items in the store. None of the employees were helpful. They all were trying talking to each other or doing something else.
One cash register was lit up as open. They refused to wait on me and told me to go back to another cash register across the store that I had walked past that was not open. One lady told a cashier to check me out. That cashier started fussing about having her break interrupted to wait on me. I told her that I did not want to hear it. She said she was not talking to me.
She was rude. I told her that i would file a complaint. Employees are not as helpful at this store compared to the store in west hattiesburg, petal, and wiggins, ms. It is very unusual for Walmart employees to be rude. This cashier may have been having a bad day, but I have found employees at this store to be indifferent and not as helpful as they are at other Walmart stores.
I was disgusted with the time that it took to check out. I would not have stopped there if I had known that checkout would take so long. There were hardly any customers in the store. I do not plan to shop at this store again. I will reserve judgment about Walmart and the other stores depending on the resolution of this complaint.
they at walmart 175 outerloop lou., ky. continulay refuse to help people at the money transaction counter , wanting them to go to the customer return counter , where there are 10 or more standing in line already with carts loads waiting on one person working that counter .i have seen many times people mumbling under their breath about there service in the store. i have a few times stopped others in the parking lot to ask their thought's about that store and a lot would like to see 175 outerloop closed , and people would sign a petition for that purpose . i live so close to 175 outerloop , but more often go to the hillveiw storte where they are always more helpful and courteous .
I was advised today, by a Walmart cashier, that Walmart would no longer accept manufacturers's coupons that did not automatically scan into their computer systems. I asked what she meant by this specifically considering I have shopped at Walmart for years and always used coupons. She said that if the computer did not want to accept the scan of the barcode on the coupon, they could not accept the coupon. I advised that every single time I go to Walmart there is at least one coupon, if not more, that has to have the barcode digits entered manually. I am not responsible for the computer system Walmart uses. I have legitimate coupons cut from the Sunday paper just like millions of other consumers have. We are now responsible for whether or not they "scan" properly into a store's computer system? Perhaps Walmart would do better to stop being so greedy with their bazillions of dollars and not only pay their employees properly but update their lame computer systems. Any product that I have a coupon for that Walmart's computer system will not accept will be voided as I will refuse to purchase it. If this is going to be a foregoing and predominate policy, I will take my coupons and my Target VISA card and go where not only are my coupons accepted but I get 5% off for having the card.
I shop at your two western new York stores in Hamburg and cheektowaga and spend on average seventy five plus weekly but in the past three months as I asked your workers about to help me out they have walked away and helped out other customers and either ignored me or told me they were busy and to find someone else and that really pissed me off cause I waited for them to help me and after fifteen minutes of waiting I walked out of your cheektowaga store and most likely wont return anytime soon. Me and my family will shop at a different store if your workes can't respect people enough to help them. I'm gonna post this to friends and family on Facebook and persuade them not to shop there unless they want to be ignored and humiliated. My experience at Walmart has been good up till three months ago and after my last experience left me upset and I just wanted a birthday present for my son and then I missed half his party and ended up not being able to participate in his lasertag match and losing money cause of the reservation I made I decided I've had it. I work 58hours a week and enjoy spending my money on my son and most of the time its at your store but I don't enjoy being treated like shit
I was given an Applebee's gift card as a gift. I took my family out to eat. When I paid the bill with the gift card I was told it was not activated at the store. I talked to my friend who purchased it at the Sterling, IL store. I was so embarressed. I took no money in the resteraunt with me, so to find out that the gift card was worth nothing. I had to make arrangements with the manager. I had to go home and get money to pay my bill. The cashiers really need to learn to activate these cards. The manager said it happens all the time. Needless to say I am not happy...
My 1 year old has an ear infection and the prescription was called in to Walmart, (Muscle Shoals, Al). ater informing my husband tha their system was down the proceeded to tell him that he should come back later to pick up the script, we came back later still no script, called just before closing and still no script. So we waited 24 hours and went back only to find out that they never received the script but never made any attempt to let us know that this happened since we had already inquired about it more than once. and they had a number on file to contact us. I will never use Wal mart pharmacy again because Wal greens calls me as soon as there is a problem and even attempts to contact the doctor if I need them to.
I called walmart in buda, tx. to ask about 60 inch vizio t.v. on sale. Sales lady told me to get there soon that they would go on sale at 10 p.m. I drive over 20 miles to get there and find that they were in the garden center which wasted over 30 minutes of my time. they had handed out tickets. I did not get a ticket because I was waiting in the electronic department. The salesman then tells me I can get a rain check in customer service. I get to customer service and the saleslady rudely tells me there is no rain check. I then scramble to call walmart in Lockhart. After numerous attempts i finally get someone. I ask if it is worth my time to go down there for the t.v. She tells me it is buisy and she does not have time for anyone to go check for me. I remember working for walmart as a kid. I was always taught then that the customer comes first. It is ashame how terrible your service has gotten. No longer a shopper.
I purchased a coleman electric cooler from Walmart in Brampton. The cooler caught fire and almost burnt down my truck. I returned it and they told me it was a straight return, did not give me a reciept and insisted on keeping the box to send back to coleman. Now the cooler they gave me is also defective and will not work. When I tried to return it they informed me that since they have none in stock and they kept the box they have no way to return it since they don't have another one to scan and since they won't be getting anymore in until spring and they have a 90 day return policy I basically am stuck with a defective item and I'm out over 130 dollars. As a customer I would like to know what kind of customer service is this. Proper customer service would be to do what you can for the customer considering it was Walmart that sold me the item and it is Walmart that kept the box without giving me something so I could return it if there was a problem!!! I am not happy. ... I do all my shopping at Walmart and will have to rethink where I will shop if that is the customer service Walmart offers!
I sort a minimum of $100 per week at Walmart... Recently I had a baby and bought almost everything from there; crib, play pen, swaddled, clothing, glider, all my kitchen, living room and bedroom furniture and even down to stroller and breast pump.... I spoke I a member of staff about the breast pumps and they had two of the same brand there and that was it. Both were damaged boxes but she said it did not effect the product. I purchased it for $70 got home and of course there was parts missing as even the instructions! I called and they offered me a $60 in store credit as I did not want the same brand ( obviously) I explained I had a preemie baby and could not drive over there again ( it was 9pm on a Friday night) so she said the next day was okay. I went up next day and they said I wasnt allowed I return the product regardless of what someone else advised me. Se offered me the same Item again which I declined and then offered me a credit for somethin else but had to be ye same brand I bought(evenflo) I said I wanted to I store credit as I was just about to spend another $250 in the store. Se of course was rude and refised! I dot think Walmart value there customers ecspecially ones like me!! They should har went above and beyond to make me the customer happy. Needless to say I'm starting to go to Target instead.
I live in Mercer WI. I have Walmart in Minoqua and Ironwood MI. First of all Ironwood is not 24 hours. When I go to either Walmart there is no help and very poorly stocked. You go and shop and there isn't enough product or no product. I have spent a lot of money over the years and am very disapointed that I can't fill my whole list. I wish that Walmart would really stand up and do what you say you do. Right now I am willing to shop at other stores even if I have to pay more. Because other stores are well stocked. I have to travel so far and I want to fill my list and not have to go store to store. I am very disappointed in Walmart right now. Today I spent $353.00 and didn't get everything. So sad!
I had an acc. With you of which I did not receive service and had was to cancel within days. However i'm receiving billing from you stating I owe you $21.81. Why am I to pay for service that I did not receive.further more you are threatening me to mess my credit up by turning this bill to a collection agency.
i got ammo the day before had receipt ammo unopened they said no returns if they took back they have to donate to police dept. OK so i am a customer that spend 10k to15k a year at walmart so your going to piss off customer over 25$ return.
so take it back make donation of 25$ walmart makes millions at this one location and keeping customer happy. i am not sure why they are not allowing returns on ammo maybe it have something to do with the shooting i am not sure but this is not right?!
Shopping at Uptown Walmart in Victoria this afternoon I encountered a very powerful smell while I was in the produce section and then it quickly spread to the cash register area, I could not get out of there fast enough. It smelled like someone was cooking popcorn with a very strong cooking oil. My eyes immediately started to water and I could feel my chest getting tighter, I could not breath properly. The gentleman at the register said that it bothered him as well. I have now been home for over an hour and my eyes are still very watery and itchy and I still have a tightness in my chest and find it difficult to breath. I will not be going back to Walmart any time soon and with a Target store opening in my area that is where I will be shopping.
I was given an increase on my account and encouraged to use my Walmart Master Card. I started to use my Walmart Mastercard more frequently along with making bigger payments. Not too long after I was given an increase, I was given a decrease of 200.00. This was unexpected without any notice. I later received a letter in the mail after the fact. I called in to find out what happened and was told because of the more recent activity on my card they reduced my limit. I told the lady on the phone that I was using my card more but my payments were larger and more frequent.
She didn't really know what to say to that. This is very odd as I was encouraged to use my Walmart Mastercard and then when I started to use it more frequently and made more and larger payments, I was penalized. What if I was on a trip and I thought I had that extra 200 dollars? I find this poor business and now I don't really want to use my Walmart Mastercard as often as I use my other credit cards. Can this be corrected?
